Welcome to the beautiful Lakeside Sandcastle at Kokomo. A 3 bedroom, 2 1/2 bath home in a quiet cul-de-sac, and just a short walk to the private beach access. This spacious home has living room space for your whole crew. The kitchen is top-of-the-line and includes an induction stove that the chef of your group will enjoy. With a king bed in the master, a guest bedroom with a queen bed, a guest room with a twin over full bunk bed, an additional sleeper sofa in the living room and twin over twin bunk beds in a nook, this lovely house can sleep 10 guests comfortably! Snowbird Season runs November thru February. For a quote, select an arrival date (must be the 1st day of the month) and a departure date (must be the 1st day of a subsequent month). Contact us for alternate date requests and further assistance! All monthly rentals are subject to an additional $150 cleaning fee.

Area Attractions:

Close by is Destin Commons, a beautifully landscaped, pedestrian-friendly area and a great family venue where children will love to play in the interactive water fountains. Also, for the younger guests, a nautically/pirate themed outdoor playground features a 1,750 square foot soft play area with various creatures from the sea, slides, and a treasure chest! Destin Commons also has a mini train for the kids. Destin Commons features over 75 shops and restaurants, including Godiva Chocolates, AMC Movie Theaters and Bass Pro Shop.

If you are near Miramar Beach, the snorkelers in your group will love the new artificial reef called Dolphin Reef, deployed in 2017. Located just 685 feet straight out from the Miramar Regional Public Beach Access (by Pompano Joe's), it is becoming a haven for sea life. Each of the 4 snorkeling reefs comprises 40 acres of the permitted sea bottom. The Dolphin Reef is at a depth of 12-20 feet. We strongly recommend that snorkelers use a kayak, paddleboard, or another flotation device when visiting the snorkel reefs. Sea conditions can and do change quickly and often. Enjoy!

This house was a GEM!!!

The perfect size and location for our mom/daughter trip. It was bright, comfortable and right across the street from the beach…a very short walk. Loved all the rooms and the fact that everyone had some “space”. I would totally stay here again. My one, very tiny complaint, is that I wish there had been instructions for the induction stove top.

Great location

Easy walk to the beach, low traffic area (on a culdesac), and nice view of lake from the back porch. We walked to Camille’s (.8 mile) for lunch and coffee. The noise carries on the lake so you can hear the neighbors but there are white noise machines in the bedrooms if you need it. The noise stopped before bedtime so we never needed to use them. Very comfortable house.

Beautiful beach lake house! Super cozy and spacious. Well furnished kitchen. Under 10 minute walk to the beach. I do feel housekeeping could have been a bit better, but nothing that I would say ruined our time there. I’d definitely stay here again.

Florida Beach Trip

We had such a great time. Very close to the beach which made walking not bad at all. Beautiful view of the lake. Close to shops, restaurants, attractions, etc. The home was nice, worked perfect for all of us. The only recommendation I have is that more pans, bigger pans, be added since the home is made for larger groups/families. Overall we had a wonderful time.
