It's a great place to catch a concert, sporting event, or a movie on the lawn.
Seaside is a short drive away and is most widely known for being featured in The Truman Show with Jim Carrey. It's incredible architecture has helped to make it famous and it's a faithful replication of the kind of seaside town that used to be common up and down the coast. Seaside has a Farmer's Market, post office, Repertory Theater, and neighborhood school. It boasts unique shopping, fantastic cuisine, and the incredible architecture that makes Seaside famous. The Sea Turtle Reef is at a depth of 12-19 feet. We strongly recommend that snorkelers use a kayak, paddleboard, or other flotation device when visiting the snorkel reefs. Sea conditions can and do change quickly and often. Enjoy!

Great home! Felt very luxurious with 10-12ft ceilings, plenty of room space and bathroom space. Huge closets as well (could fit a pack & play in them!). Appropriately amount of utensils, glasses and plates. Could use more toilet paper for the amount of people we had and laundry pods would be a nice touch. Overall the beds were very comfortable, plenty of pillows and air conditioning was great. A quiet neighborhood, quick walk to the beach and bikes were available! We really enjoyed our stay as a large family. There was plenty of room for everyone and it was well kept. Although this house is very close to the beach, the public access only has stairs (3 flights) to the beach and then another 200 ft walk east for the “public” beach and it is CROWDED! Vendors had chairs and umbrellas set up on the entire public beach area, so there is no way to get a good spot. The public beach is already such a small area. The beach access was just not very ideal for small children or older family members. We ended up driving to Deer Lake State Park the rest of the trip and that was more enjoyable. Other than the “public” beach issue the house is in a perfect location. Very close to Old Florida Fish House which is a family favorite and we were close enough to bike to Seaside. We really enjoyed the large living room and screened in back porch. May stay here again if Walton Co. gets rid of private beaches, because it’s ridiculous.- Reviewed On: 7/20/2025

Gathering Thyme was a great house for our group of 8. There was plenty of room, decor was great and the screened-in porch was a plus. I loved having a private upstairs deck to sit and relax in the evening. The pool was great to use after a day at the beach and only two houses down from our’s. It was just a quick walk/bike ride to the beach. We used the Seagrove One beach access because it was right by our chair rentals. We enjoyed our stay here and will definitely stay at the same place again. The kids had a blast and the place was amazing!! Throughout our 2.5 month stay, RealJoy has always been responsive and friendly. On two occasions, they were able to quickly send maintenance personnel within a couple of hours of an issue which is amazing. The house is extremely walkable to the beach. Each of the rooms were equipped with TVs. The kitchen had great counter space and more supplies than you would normally see in a short term rental. The backyard space is plenty for our older 3 kids with a good screened-in patio to enjoy the peaceful surrounding. The street itself is very safe despite some construction due to new homes being built. The bikes were a great addition as we could use it to bike to Seaside or the nature trails around the area. The downside that we’ve experienced was that there was not enough hot water for everyone to take a bath/shower at the same time, so we had to space out times for that. Overall, it was a pleasant stay for our family of 7.- Reviewed On: 3/1/2025
