Super clean, spacious and well maintained. Tons of space and the location is really amazing. Loved the private pool. Close to beach and Seaside square.

We had a great time and absolutely loved the private pool. The house was in good shape and appreciated the bikes that we could easily ride into town. It was a short walk to the beach and was a great place for our family to stay.

We had a great stay and really enjoyed the pool. The house was fairly clean and was great for our family. Some beach chair and towels would have been a nice addition, but we enjoyed the bikes and had a great time.

Had a wonderful 3-day stay at this home - super easy access to a beautiful stretch of beach, the house was clean and well equipped for prepping simple meals, the private pool in the back was clean and great for relaxing, and the bikes were a bonus for getting around. Would definitely recommend this property and consider it again in the future!

We stayed at Double Down on a recent spring break vacation. We split the house with another family. Each side had two parents and two adult children. It is a great place to give families some privacy but also share time together on the porches and backyard. We loved the dual kitchens, two full baths on both sides and the shared porches. We also enjoyed the pool in the backyard on a day the beach had double-red flags. One evening, we also had a fire at the firepit. The location is excellent! There are two public beach accesses from either end of the street. It is a 1-mile easy walk to Seaside city center. Easy area to bike around and short drive to stores. The only thing I would suggest is some deep cleaning of couch pillows and deck cushions. The pool deck could also use a good pressure wash and mud-jacking. I also wish there was a washer/dryer on both sides as it was hard to share this and not "disturb" our house mates, but this was a minor inconvenience and we worked it out. Also, the property managers were very responsive. We couldn't find a broom and didn't have any fry pans. We got both items within a few hours of our request. All of the questions I asked prior to our stay were responded to quickly. Overall, we enjoyed our stay! It was great for our two families.

Great location. Easy walk to beach. Clean and comfortable. The duplex feature with joining door was perfect for our family. The pool and backyard are great. We built a fire in the fire pit two nights and it was wonderful. Unfortunately, too cold for the pool and, in hindsight, I should have paid to have it heated. But it was an unusual cold snap. Would recommend and would go back.

This duplex turned into one house is perfect for two families traveling together or one family that would like their kids to have friends join them. The units have a door that allows access to each other. I would not recommend renting if you have older folks in your group as there are a lot of stairs.
The pool and fire pit in the back are a nice change from daily beach time. Simple one block walk to the beach with pedestrian crosswalk for safe crossing. Our family enjoyed staying at this property and would rent again.

My group of 10 (8 adults and 2 babies) loved our stay at Double Down. Everything was as described and you cannot beat the location, it really is just a couple hundred feet from the beach. I liked that each room had direct TV although we spent most of our time outside the house it was nice to have on our one rainy day. Only negatives I had was there is no direct access to the pool area from the house, you have to exit through the front and walk around to the back and the pool was cold, we paid for it to be heated so that was disappointing. I would defently stay here again.

We loved the location in a quiet area of Seagrove and close to Seaside but not too close. The beach is just across street and within 3-5 minute walk. The home was very clean and updated. The pictures show the property well. The house is set up with 2 sides which allows for both family time and still allows you to have privacy and some quiet space. Each side has a well stocked kitchen with everything we needed. Overall the stay was very relaxing and we would definitely return.

Seagrove Beach Doubledown exceeded our expectations. While the photos were lovely, we weren't sure it would be as charming in real life...but it was. The location was extremely walkable to the beach and the pool was a great size for the four children who played in it when the weather wasn't ideal at the beach. We mostly enjoyed quiet time but did venture out to the Hub and Seaside. We enjoyed the shopping but it reinforced that preferred the lower density of the Seagrove neighborhood. We shared the house with another family and found the "two sides" very convenient for some privacy yet the space still lent it self to a common, shared experience. I could see us renting this property again for another Spring Break because it suited our families well.

We wanted a warmer and safe space to work and learn for the month of February and Double Down was perfect for our family! There was plenty of space for our family of 5 to spread out during the day and the Internet held up during multiple zoom meetings and lessons. The pool was a great size and temperature, even during the cold days for the kids to play inside. The beach was just a few blocks away and the grocery store was a short drive. We built a fire in the fire pit and enjoyed the stars one night. The kitchens had plenty of cookware and we used the grill often for our meals in. The beds were cozy and there were plenty of towels to use. We miss it already and can't wait to visit again!

We were looking for a quick getaway to escape the quarantine blues. This place was fantastic!! The pool was warm and clean it was big enough for our group of 9 to enjoy. The decor was light, airy and beachy. Every thing was sparkling clean. We were about 1 beach block from The Gulf. It was a short walk daily to the waves. Just FYI...There are two king master bedrooms on each side of the house; however, there are no private master bathrooms. We enjoyed our stay and we are already planning our return. I would definitely recommend for a big family or two smaller families.

We loved everything about Doubledown! The location was spot on, right across from the beach, near lots of local eateries, stores etc. We were able to rent a golf-cart for our visit thru a local rental company. Once we parked our car, it stayed parked until our departure. We were able to drive the golf-cart everywhere we needed to go. The pool was EVERYTHING as that was the only thing my 11yr old was concerned about. We will definitely frequent Doubledown again!
