Windancer is a private community in the heart of Miramar Beach. It features a 4-story Beach Front condominium and a handful of cottages with private pools. Located on the east end of Scenic Gulf Drive, Windancer is close to many favorite local eateries and just a couple blocks from Silver Sands Outlet Mall. Take a refreshing dip in the seasonally heated, Gulf Front community pool, step down the boardwalk to the beach, and grill up a feast at the Gulf Front BBQ area. Windancer is located close to the Silver Sands Factory Outlet, the nations large designer factory outlet featuring more than 100 name brand designer stores. Also close by is the Destin Commons with incredible eateries, upscale shopping, a park with pop up fountains at its center, and favorites like Bass Pro Shops and Hard Rock Cafe.

Grand Boulevard Town Center is a pedestrian-friendly, shopping and dining complex just off Emerald Coast Parkway, convenient to both SanDestin and Miramar Beach. For the high-end shopper, the center offers everything from Fusion Art Glass Gallery to Brooks Brothers Country Club. A number of boutiques, such as Hello, Sunshine and Magnolia House, carry fare you can't find anywhere else. Dining options include Mitchell's Fish Market, P. F. Chang's China Bistro, and Cantina Laredo Gourmet Mexican Food. In 2013, Walton County’s first movie theater opened at Grand Boulevard’s Town Center – the state-of-the-art Boulevard 10 Movie Theater.

If you are near Miramar Beach, the snorkelers in your group will love the new artificial reef called Dolphin Reef, deployed in 2017. Located just 685 feet straight out from the Miramar Regional Public Beach access (by Pompano Joe's), it is becoming a haven for sea life. Each of the 4 snorkeling reefs comprises 40 acres of permitted sea bottom. The Dolphin Reef is at a depth of 12-20 feet. We strongly recommend that snorkelers use a kayak, paddleboard, or other flotation device when visiting the snorkel reefs. Sea conditions can and do change quickly and often. Enjoy!

We enjoy be very close to the beach and the laundry and dryer.

The location it’s very good The cleaner in the mirrors, doors , windows, floors . Sofa bed . The glass Dinner table And toilets are very bad. The Toilets need a good cleaner with bleach . they smell bad . You need A good housekeepers !

Great place, right on the beach. We did see a mouse/mice droppings and they offered to come set traps the night before we left. We were leaving so we opted out of that. They were very communicative tho and said they’d take care of it before the next guest arrived.
They gave us an early check in which was awesome for our families needs. We’ll be back.

I honestly was a little nervous booking this condo because of some of the reviews stating that the unit was needing upgrades, etc Overall, this unit was great! We were extremely pleased with the location and the condition of the unit. Every issue listed in the other reviews didn’t inhibit our stay whatsoever. Honestly, we wouldn’t have noticed them if they weren’t stated in other reviews. We loved being right on the beach and loved this condo! If you are looking for a place on the beach for an amazing price, I would consider booking this place! This is our second year staying at this condominium and we love it! There are a lot of return guests and it’s easy to see why. People are so friendly, including the beach service guys!

Good Stay with a few issues

Always stay at the Windancer the 2nd week of November. First time dealing with RealJoy. Got our bill today and was REALLY surprised there was an add'l charge of $115.00 (VRBO fee). As such, we will not be going through Real Joy again. When placing the reservation on-line, we were not made aware of this add'l charge. Found out that VRBO was supposed to let us know, but didn't. Very disappointed. The unit was great and had a couple of small issues with the unit itself, but was taken care of almost immediately.

This was a very nice property. Everything was very clean. The view was incredible. The location was perfect. Pharmacy within walking distance that was open 24 hrs. Grocery store next to that. Loved this property.

Nice clean room where everything worked as it should, In a good location.

The room was nice and the location was great. The parking lot had ample parking spaces. The private beach was nice And the included chairs and umbrella were great. The room was super clean and everything worked as it should. Will definitely be staying here again!

Windancer is a Gem!

Windancer is a fantastic little hidden gem. We will definitely make this a yearly destination. The only somewhat negative comment as far as the property we stayed in, is that it needs updating and needs to be furnished a little better. The furniture wasn't very comfortable and the kitchen had the bare minimum. It advertised a jacuzzi tub but it was broken. There were no rugs in the condo so the sand was an issue. Overall a good location and we will go back.

Great Location, quiet and clean!

Windancer gave us a great beach experience. Wonderful view and access to the beach and the clear emerald waters. Have not been to the Florida coast in decades and this was a great reintroduction. The condo was clean and great for our needs. The location is very accessible to restaurants, shopping, and a short drive to the busier attractions in Destin. 1My only suggestion is an update on some of the appliances but I would stay again despite this. The heated pool was very nice and comfortable in early March weather. We all had a great time and look forward to making another visit.

Perfect place to be on the beach in seconds.

From the minute we pulled up to the property and to 5 days later, we enjoyed our stay. The walk from the condo to the waters edge was easy. The view from the balcony was beautiful.

Great place for moms trying to get away

Great place for two moms trying to get away for a long weekend. The place/location was accurate to what was described in the listing. The view, balcony, easy private beach access and complimentary beach chairs were perfect. Would recommended that the owners upgrade the balcony furniture (uncomfortable and very rusty) and that coffee be included in the condo (thankfully Winn Dixie is within walking distance). We had a great time and would recommend to others!

Okay, not great.

I have rented several different condos at this location. The Windancer is great because it only has 48 units and there is plenty of room at the beach. However this unit, 207, was the least desirable of the ones I have rented before. I will stay at the windancer again just not this particular condo. It is in serious need of updating and new appliances. There is no broom or vacuum to help you keep the floors clean because somehow some sand will get to the condo. The house keeping company did an okay job but they did not leave us any towels. There is a bad bearing in the dryer which to me is a serious issue. There was no lint screen in the dryer so lent could go up the exhaust. Now if said bearing got too hot this could possibly be a fire hazard. I don't feel that this unit was maintained as somebody's dwelling but only as a rental unit.

Overall, it was an extremely wonderful stay and would definitely love to stay there again!

I loved having the access code for the door and not having to pick up a key. The view from the balcony was great and the walk to the beach was extremely short (we didn't even have to wear shoes). Stores ;and restaurants were literally across the street. My son complained that the bunk bed mattresses were uncomfortable.
