Welcome to Whimsical Waves, this beautifully renovated studio at Top of the Gulf 813 is perfect for a romantic retreat for two, or even a solo journey to relax and recharge. Unwind on the Queen bed sleeps 2 guests. A fully equipped kitchen with new cabinets and quartz countertops, coffee bar, Smart TV, WiFi, and full bath. This condo looks out over the beach and community pool. Walk to the stunning white sand beach, hang out at the pool, or enjoy one of several cozy places to kick back, unwind, and enjoy the view of the ocean from this 8th-floor condo. Snowbird Season runs November thru February, on a monthly basis. To prepare a qualified quote, select your arrival date (must be the 1st day of the month) and the departure date (must be the 1st day of the month). Alternate dates must be pre-approved. All monthly rentals are subject to an additional $150 cleaning fee. Please contact us with your interest and to further assist!

*This property doesn't allow groups of adults age 25 or under. No Exceptions.*

**Top of the Gulf charges a $30 registration fee at check-in, which includes a parking pass. 2 wristbands are provided in the unit upon arrival and must be left in the unit before check-out. Any wristbands not left will incur additional fees.**

**Top of the Gulf does not allow guests on site that are not staying within the complex.**

**The Top of the Gulf Cafe is seasonal through Oct 31st (subject to change) **

Top of the Gulf features nice landscaping, grills, pristine beachside amenities, a gorgeous pool, and a kiddie pool where personal chairs and coolers are welcome throughout. The complex's game room boasts a pool table and a foosball table, while the pool area features a shuffleboard court and cornhole boards. A large swing and an oversized Adirondack chair add to the beachy atmosphere and make for great photo opportunities. The onsite Surf Snack Shack offers grilled items, drinks, smoothies, and other goodies, plus dedicated wifi for guests. Top of the Gulf is located just minutes from gourmet seafood dining, signature golf courses, amazing deep-sea fishing, a fabulous water park, miniature golf, gift shops, and the world-class entertainment and events Panama City Beach is famous for. Nearby, at the corner of Thomas Dr and North Lagoon Dr is Captain Anderson's Marina and Restaurant. You will find delicious fresh seafood, charter fishing boats, shell, and dolphin excursions. At the end of Thomas Drive is the gorgeous St. Andrews State Park. Grand Lagoon touches the park to the north and to the south is the beautiful Gulf. Swimming and fishing are great at the park without the large crowds! Take the kids over to Shipwreck Island waterpark for more splashing fun or take a pleasant stroll about a mile down the beach to Schooner's for a delicious meal or drink.

If you're looking for great shopping and fabulous eateries, nearby Pier Park will fill the bill! With more than 125 retail, dining, and entertainment choices, Pier Park is a one-of-a-kind beachfront family-friendly attraction featuring island-inspired architecture and popular stores. Dillard’s, Ron Jon Surf Shop, Target, and Forever 21 are but a few. Dine at numerous eateries like Jimmy Buffett’s Margaritaville, Dick’s Last Resort, and Five Guys Burgers, or catch a show at the Grand IMAX Theater.

We would have preferred a private balcony but the overall stay was great. We didn’t get the security guards name but he was great. Always smiling!! The room was great (room 813). Perfect for a couples getaway. Although we did not have kids with us, the pool area was very kid friendly. We would definitely stay there again!!

I found the apartment to be nice. It could use a little more cleaning but wasn’t gross. I did get in earlier ( which i appreciated) so I don’t know if effective their cleaning time. The bed was a little hard but for the money was a fantastic stay. Also, a dresser under the tv would be nice. We struggle to find a place to put our clothes up. Most of the staff was friendly. Appreciate the lady in the gift shop when I needed some first aid.

Gift To Myself

My third stay at Top of the Gulf and the best unit so far! Bright and clean, comfortable bed (pillows not so much) and perfect view of the beach and the ocean. I loved being on the top floor. I love the big picture window. I chose this unit because one window is operable, but alas, too much wind and rain, so I kept it closed. I will book this again if I ever get the chance.

Wonderful, relaxing week!

We had a wonderful stay at Top of the Gulf. Our room was stocked with everything we needed. One of the best parts of the property was that it wasn’t very busy at all- even in the middle of the summer. The elevators were quick and the beach was roomy. The only drawback was that there was a picture in the listing advertising free beach service. After booking, we found out beach service was not included. We were very disappointed. Otherwise, it was a wonderful experience.
