Tidewater Beach Resort opened in March 2008. It’s a luxury resort ideally located on a large expanse of sugar-white sandy beaches along the Gulf of Mexico and convenient to area dining, shopping and activities. It has plenty of amenities designed to please. Make a splash in one of the large beachfront pools, enjoy a refreshing beverage at the poolside tiki bar or just relax with a peaceful stroll along the beach. There’s also an indoor heated pool, hot tubs, sauna, steam, room, fitness center, and MORE! Under a mile to Pier Park, Tidewater Beach Resort is a fantastic destination for your next beach vacation!

During busy seasons, the property experiences increased guest traffic, which may result in longer-than-normal elevator wait times. We appreciate your understanding and recommend allowing a few extra minutes when planning your arrivals and departures.

The condo was great! Very clean and open, exactly as pictured. When we walked in, the condo was already cooled down for us, which was extremely nice. The balcony view is excellent. You can see all sorts of marine life from there especially in the morning. We didn’t catch the sunrise because of overcast, but we did see some beautiful skies and water. The condo is fully equipped with kitchen appliances and utensils. It has a Mr. Coffee so if you use K cups, take your own maker. I recommend to start making ice when you get there or buy bagged ice. If you have more than 2 people, take extra toilet paper and paper towels. It was perfect for 2 people for 4 days. The trash closet is right across the hall, literally. The door isn’t marked, but its location couldn’t be more convenient. There is a box fan in the bedroom closet and a smaller fan on the dresser. The bed was comfortable. We didn’t wake up with sore hips or frozen neck. Unless your room comes with beach chairs, take your own. Trust me, you don’t want to rent the ones the resort offers. They are super expensive (in my opinion). The elevators can be slow depending on the time of day. Be prepared to wait.The condo itself was very clean and quiet. We very much enjoyed our time there. We would stay there again for sure.

The room was nice, could use some updating to the bathrooms and couches. Tidewater has the WORST elevators. This is our second time staying here and I wanted to give the elevators another chance but we will never stay here again. Sometimes the wait can be 30+ minutes.
