The Shores Townhome #116

Place is as described. Right on the water with epic views of the Gulf of Mexico, dolphins, and incredible sunsets! 3rd floor balcony remains in the shade all day while the second floor balcony is in the sun for most of the day. Boardwalk was great with steps down to the beach and a very short path through the dune grass before you hit the beautiful beach. Never wanted to leave; just wanted to look at the beach from the moment we woke up until we went to bed.

The view of the ocean was the best part by far. The decks seemed to have been recently redone and there was a nice boardwalk with steps right down to the beach. We did have to purchase extra paper towels, trash bags, dish soap and condiments for cooking, so I would be prepared for a few extra expenses in that realm, but I feel it is almost expected in some airbnbs. Would absolutely stay here again and recommend to anyone looking for a beachfront stay!

Our family of 4 had a great time. The view from the balconies is amazing - perfect for a drink at sunset, watching dolphins swim by! The place is spacious, well equipped, directly on the beach and the beach is beautiful.
The location is convenient, close to supermarket, 5min drive to 30A (without being in the 30A busyness!)

This townhome was perfectly decorated and seemed to be pretty clean. There were a couple of roaches in the kitchen that we saw and one dead one by the back door. Maybe some pest control would be good. Other than that the location and home was perfect.

This condo sits right on the beach, with only sea grass and palm trees between us and the sand. We had a great view from our back deck and the upstairs porch. The condo itself was very nice, clean and pretty, and had everything we needed. Even in December, it was a nice vacation.

This place is exactly as described. The check in process was not one I have experienced before, but it worked well. Instead of the email with all of the information, you log into a portal for the information about your townhouse. The checkout was one of my favorites because we weren’t expected to do a ton of things before we left. All we had to do was lock doors, trash out, dishwasher on, and check the thermostat - it was a relief. There were chairs and some small things left in the garage we could have used if we needed them. There is not a garage door on this unit, like many have - no big deal. The kitchen was very well stocked with dishes, pots and pans, utensils galore, cups, etc. My only complaint about the kitchen is the slope in the tile that I tripped on multiple times. They left a sufficient amount of dishwasher tablets. There was no hand soap, but they left a small bottle of dish soap. There was one brand new roll of paper towels, but they were thin and I definitely needed more. The toilet paper is thin as well, so I got something else for the duration. I reached out to the management company before we came down since Hurricane Ian was making landfall and we were quickly responded to and told it was not impacting the area. Overall, this place was wonderful and we are glad we stayed here!

We had a lovely time with our five children. The large master upstairs suite left plenty of room for an additional air mattress should we have needed one. The large closet left room for a pack and play to allow a quiet sleeping baby room should you need one. The kitchen was aptly appointed with fairly nice cookware and sharper knives than you usually find at rentals. The townhome was clean and nicely furnished with a fresh smell upon entry. A few issues were outdoor lights which did not work or were flickering. The upper balcony was cheaply furnished with plastic chairs which caused a majorly obstructed view of the beach. We probably would have spent more time out there if there were higher, more comfortable chairs. Safety issues with older blinds with cord hanging down, so just tuck those up and out of reach. The best part was the beach access which was very direct and convenient for a family with small children. You walk down the deck stairs, and down the shared townhome boardwalk two units, then a very small set of stairs and ver the dunes to a calm and crystal clear beach. The shells are plentiful and intact--perfect for little adventurers. The boys loved watching the naval planes over the water. Winn Dixie is walking distance and Publix is 3 minutes drive. We can't comment on restaurants or stores really sad we stayed in almost the entire time. There's no need to go out with such a beautiful beach in your backyard.

This property is perfect location- walk out on beach from the porch - no high rises nearby- five minute drive to Rosemary Beach development- Property is very clean - high end appliances- comfortable beds. Very spacious- looks just like the pictures. Had immediate response via texting during the stay. I would stay here again.

This is our second time staying here and it was just as pleasant as the first, I just wished we could have stayed longer! This unit is in a great location to have a quite, relaxing peaceful vacation. The only problem I saw this time was the cleanliness. It definitely was not cleaned very well before we arrived. The floors were dirty and it had not had a good vacuuming. I found trash under the beds and couch and food was left in the garage area. Needs some TLC but it’s still a wonder place and we will definitely be back.

We just returned from our wonderful 7-day stay at Unit 116/The Shores. You literally could not ask for a better location on the beach. We came during Memorial Day weekend and you could see how crowded the beach was on either side of the townhouses…while the space directly in front of us was nice and spread out. The unit is lovely and remodeled and everything was so clean and nice. We were a little concerned that it might feel too small for a full week but it was perfect. Keep in mind that laundry is down a full flight of stairs near the garage area (not on the main level) if you have issues with stairs. This isn’t a huge issue but I wish we had known ahead of time that only the bare basics were provided. You do have plenty of towels, a full set of kitchen supplies but only about 2 days worth of toilet paper. Again, not a big deal but if I had known, I would have brought supplies from home. We ended up buying paper towels, more toilet paper, foil, plastic wrap, cooking sprays, ziploc bags, Tupperware containers, etc. I did happen to bring Tide pods and dishwasher pods which was good. Just a heads up while you are packing! The patio/porch area was simply fabulous. I looked forward to sitting out there every morning watching the waves. It’s a little small but plenty of room for several people to sit. We saw dolphins and a school of stingrays on our first day! We will absolutely be back next year. Can’t recommend enough!

Our family had an amazing stay. The beach, just steps away from the property, was where we spent more of our time. We jumped the waves, went crab hunting, built sandcastles, and even saw a pod of dolphins swim by; with one jumping right in front of where we were watching from the deck. We had a front seat view for the amazing night storms and sunsets. We went to Gulf World, Pier Park, and enjoyed a few local restaurants:) We made many wonderful memories!

My wife and I come to Florida every year, but we agreed that nowhere we have ever stayed before offered such immediate access to the beach and surf- it is literally out the back door. This stretch of beach is mainly occupied by other townhomes, with limited public access, so everyone was able to stretch out and stay safe. Our only quibble was that we couldn't find a key to the downstairs door that leads to the beach, so we had to leave the upstairs door unlocked when we went outside- I called RealJoy and left a voicemail asking if there was a key, but did not receive a call back. Fortunately, since the beach was so close, we were able to keep an eye on things and didn't feel too nervous about leaving the door unlocked.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay here. This is a beautiful home. There is a beachfront view from almost everywhere in the house. We loved having our own section of the beach not crowded by other tourists. The pool was just a short walk from the townhouse. The kitchen inside was fully furnished with everything needed to cook and enjoy meals. There was a lot of outside deck space for enjoying the oceanview both downstairs and upstairs. I highly recommend this place if you are looking for a relaxing vacation in PCB but away from the all the crowds.

Cozy and comfortable yet such a relaxing and up to date home. We enjoyed our stay with our kids and grandma.Grocery store is down the street less than a mile away. In this COVID times we didn’t need to or wanted to go out, just the necessary. The beach is right in front of the house with a beautiful view and all the amenities to complement it. There is also no big crowds in this area. Much needed vacation, Thank you!

Steps to the beach. Beautiful well stocked kitchen with large side by side fridge. Master bed is very firm. The two queens are much softer so it’s all about preference. Recommended they install blackout curtains as we were woken @ 5:30 every morning with the sun.

This property was just as advertised. Very clean and fantastic location. We enjoyed walking right out onto the beach, which was very quiet. Great spot for families and little kids. We had everything we needed. My only suggestion would be to speed the wait time for reaching the property manager. Overall, we had a wonderful time and will certainly book again.

Perfect location, perfect setting! If you want a perfect place to spend a couple of days on the beach and with all the amenities of home, this is it! We loved the spaciousness, the abundance of cooking utensils, dishes, even some spices! We enjoyed being able to prepare breakfast and lunch! (Dinner was pick up!) can’t wait to return!

We loved this place and location! We have 3 small kiddos and they loved that they could play in the big closets! The kitchen was beautiful, only downfall is there is a slit uneven floor from kitchen area to the hall part, and I'm clumsy and stubbed my toe almost every time! But the beds were comfy and linens were perfect. The master bedroom upstairs was such a treat, and so relaxing to fall asleep to the ocean and wake up hearing the waves! The deck was always warm to have picnics on and literally steps off to the beach. We enjoyed racing to the beach every morning to start making sand castle and boogie board! The location is by so much which is super convenient for grocery delivery or restaurants or things to do. We never heard car traffic or anything like that. The place is quiet and super family friendly. Lastly one thing I could change would be that the pool was heated during our stay, but we loved staying here! Thanks for letting us make some amazing memories!
