Beach view can't get any better! It was unfortunate that the building next door was under construction and very distracting. They worked everyday, hammering and sawing. This was our second stay in this unit and we plan to return!

Real joy property at the Palms in Destin Florida is one of the best we have stayed in. The condo has the beach vibe the colors are welcoming the decor is outstanding very tastefully done the beach view is breathtaking . The balcony had 2 sets of tables and chairs very nice. Well taken care of up to date appliances and bathrooms . we had no issues. The parking no charge which is rare for Florida. I believe we have found our future vacation spot I highly recommend

Great place to stay there is an issue in the hallway bathroom. The light cover above the mirror has a black wire for the light sandwiched between the cover and the wall easy to see. Could lead to a fire if not repaired.

Great place, very clean! And the representatives were so responsive when you needed help. I told them it was my birthday. That’s why I was coming to celebrate. I got there, and they had a bottle of Tequila with limes waiting on me🥰!!
I loved how you can walk out your door. And go right onto the beach. Only thing that scared me was the tight parking spaces.

The kitchen was fully stocked, the beach view was superb. Very easy access to the beach. The only concern for anyone going is the parking, the spots are a little tight to get into. I understand the building is built that way but it is hard to maneuver.

The condo was very clean which is something that I am very particular about. The kitchen was fully stocked with dinnerware, silverware, glasses, etc. so you don't have to constantly run the dishwasher. The company that manages it contacted me during the first few days of our stay to see if I had any questions or comments which made it more personal. There is a new boardwalk to access the beach and an access code is required to access the boardwalk and the restrooms by the pool area which is nice. The only suggestion I have is to mount towel bars in the master bath.

The condo itself was lovely & super clean. We did have a slight mishap with the door upon checking in, but that was resolved immediately. My only complaint is the parking. The pillars around the assigned spots are ridiculously tight and for me, it wasn’t worth the time & effort to park in our assigned spot. But that’s not the property owner’s fault. Definitely recommend this property.

Beautiful and clean condo just steps from the beach. Accommodated four adults and two children without feeling cramped. Small complex meant plenty of space on the beach. Covered parking space was tight for a large suv but there were plenty of additional parking spots in the parking lot. Would stay here again!

The location was directly on the beach, our condo had the balcony facing the ocean and you couldn’t beat the view. The condo was plenty big enough to fit 5-6 people. The only complaint my wife and I had was the bed in the master bedroom. It was so uncomfortable that my wife and I were waking up multiple times a night every night we were there. The bed was really stiff! It got so bad my wife chose to sleep on the couch rather than the bed the last night there. Other than this, our stay was great!

We have used Airbnb for the past 8 years, a few have been in the same area, and this place is at the top of our list. Beautiful, large, updated and fully equipped condo. Gorgeous views from the 5th floor. The unit was spotless. The bathrooms were detailed clean. The pool is ok. It’s small and to the side of the building. It was under renovation at the time of our visit. The beach, had just enough people to make it cozy and fun, but never crowded. It’s very private and quiet. Perfect for families and couples.
The host was very attentive, checking on us periodically to make sure we had everything we needed.
Overall, we had the best experience. We were pleased with just about everything.
We will make this place our spot for when we come back.

Palms 501 was absolutely beautiful. As others have mentioned it looks to have been completely updated very recently, and the view is amazing. Beds were comfortable, everything was clean, the beach was not crowded, and the Realjoy staff was very helpful and friendly throughout the process.

It appeared there had been recent renovations and the result was a lovely condo with comfortable furniture and a very well-stocked kitchen with plenty of dishes and cookware. The view of the beach was fantastic. The parking was not the best set-up - difficult to maneuver in the covered area and a significant slope outside. One disappointment for us was the lack of restaurants or entertainment within walking distance. All in all, though, we very much our stay.

Property was very clean and as described. Fantastic beach access. The only issue occurred after three days of heavy rainfall from Ida. A leak developed in the ceiling in the living room. I immediately reported to management. The ceiling leak stopped when the rain stopped however as of checkout no one had come to repair the ceiling. Thankfully no damage was done to the TV or furniture both of which were below the leak. Overall great home and location!

This was a great unit and location. There was a small plumbing issue with the master shower but Realjoy was prompt to fix and offer compensation. The only really bad issue is parking in assigned place. The area under the building is incredibly tight, not that it can’t be done. I would rent this property again.

Just a three night stay for us, two full days. Arrived late on a Friday, left for a full day of driving home on Monday. The weather was beautiful - in the 70's on Halloween. We'd never been to Fort Walton Beach. I would totally recommend this area. There's enough to do if you want something other than being on the beach, but it's not crazy busy. Of course, we were here Oct 31 during a pandemic, so take that with a grain of salt. The owners, I believe, are new. At least the names on the thank you note in the unit were not the two names left on most of the guest book entries or here in the reviews. However, they seem to have the same commitment to cleanliness and quality for their guests. The beds were very comfortable as was the other furniture in the unit. Sliding glass doors to a single balcony from both the master and the living room. Right on the beach so the sound of the waves come right up into the unit. So lovely! I would totally stay here again!

You won't regret staying at The Palms 501. This is a large 2 bedroom gulf front unit directly on the beach in a smaller building. And if you need a break from the beach there is a pool on site to cool off in. Fort Walton Beach is great because it's not as commercialized as Destin, however if you want the entertainment Destin offers it's about a 7 minute drive away. This specific unit is also priced several hundred dollars under the competition. I searched hundreds of units before settling on this one. The owner was also very ray to deal with and made the process easy.

The condo was very nicely decorated and clean. We enjoyed the beach view with the waves coming in and watching the dolphins. The area has so many things to do like The Boardwalk for food, mini golf, go carting, arcade. Excellent location very family welcoming. The short drive to Destin we enjoyed the restaurants especially Fudpucker’s which had live alligators you can feed and smaller ones you can hold plus get a picture with. Gus was absolutely amazing with 5 star communication and answered any questions we had with no delay. Highly recommend this property to anyone. This was the fifth time we have stayed at this incredible condo and continue to love it. It is always so very clean, has anything you would need for a week stay (or even much longer) and the location just can't be beat. Gus is incredible to work with and wants everyone to have a great time. The property and condo is always improving and this all makes for a effortless week of relaxing. Cannot say enough great things about the condo and Fort Walton. And with more and more restaurants opening in the area, you can find great food within just a couple of miles.

We have recently returned from a week stay in #501! I've stayed here several times but this was a first for my mom, sister and aunt. They absolutely loved it! From the moment we walked in everyone was so amazed at the space, the beautiful views from the large corner balcony and the amenities in the condo itself. We loved having a short walk to the beach and the provided beach service. Gus and Nancy are so easy to book with. The condo was beautifully decorated and equipped with everything imaginable the tourist would ever want and need during their stay! Weather was enjoyable and the condo was situated within walking distance or a short car ride to numerous restaurants and attractions. From the moment we walked into the condo we were impressed. It had a nice large entryway wich made it easy to unload all our luggage and coolers. The entire condo was clean, neat, and orderly. The layout was perfect with plenty of space for us and our child. The kitchen had everything we needed and more to make all our meals in (since our 3 year old isn't super fun to take to restaurants). The chair service was perfect for us, I spent most days sitting under the umbrella reading! We enjoyed the private balcony in the mornings and evenings just taking in all the beauty the ocean has to offer. My son especially enjoyed the pair of binoculars that were in the condo, as well as, the cable tv selection. We do not have cable at home so on a rest day he watched some new shows! Staying at Gus and Nancy’s condo is always a welcomed respite from life in general. The hypnotic mind-calming views, the tucked-away location, the more than adequate condo amenities, the lack of traffic and crowds, the hospitality of the condo owners...I could go on-and-on as to why our girls’ trip is right here at #501 every year. Sugary white sand squeaking beneath our feet as we saunter to our condo-provided chairs and umbrella is purely magical. October is our absolutely favorite month to visit Okaloosa Island (shhhh….don’t want the word to get out about this hidden gem!). The waters were initially murky due to the remnants of wicked Hurricane Michael; however, not long before we had to pack up and leave, the pouring rains stopped, the cloudless skies opened up an infinite column of deep blue that was both bright and soft. The waters cleared to the anticipated pristine azure blues and intoxicating emerald greens, the dolphins returned to frolic and entertain, and the dead beached sea creatures mysteriously disappeared. The Palms and Okaloosa Island simply cannot be beat.

Even though Hurricane Michael stole one night of my beach vacation, The Palms 501 made a lasting impression. From the initial contact through the follow-up after our stay, Gus and Nancy provided impeccable attention. The unit was clean, well maintained, and the views were second to none. My husband and I got up early every morning to walk on the beach. Our first morning there, we had an incredible shelling haul. We loved our trip, and can’t wait to book another! OMGosh, we couldn't have asked for a nicer place to stay in Fort Walton. This isn't our first time staying at the Palms, but our first staying in 501. This unit is well furnished, nicely decorated AND on the corner (YAY!). We spent everyday at the beach on this trip, so we can't give input on the pool. We did notice the pool area had been completely remodeled since last year and they did a great job. We just loved having the beach chairs and umbrella to park ourselves under while enjoying the view. Happy to report that the life guards were always patrolling and keeping an eye on everyone. There was a little of the 'June grass' and a few rain showers to contend with, but we still had a great time!!! We really like this location, it is very close to the beach and not too far from local restaurants and other entertainment. Gus was super nice and easy to work with. Thank you Gus, for allowing us to stay in your place. All of your little notes were super helpful too. We will be back !!!

This is our third year returning to 501 Palms. Gus and Nancy are the best to work with! They will stay in contact throughout your stay. From first reserving the unit, to being available to answer any questions we may have had before, during and after our stay. During the summer of 2017, improvements were being made to The Palms building in general, and were easily tolerated. This summer (July 2018), it was so exciting to see the improvements completed, and to take advantage of them. The pool area was improved, and is beautiful. So refreshing after the salty, sandy beach! The elevator waiting area is air conditioned, and feels very nice after a day on the beach, a trip down Hwy 98, or arriving and unloading your car for the week. There's an "outside" beach access restroom (faces the beach) that Gus provides a code in order to use. Yes, do that. Truly the very best! This condo is perfectly outfitted for whatever you want to do, it's a home away from home! Gus and Nancy will let you know how to fully appreciate using 501 Palms before you even get there. Guaranteed, you'll want to go back!

My family was long overdue for a beach vacation, and this condo made our visit just perfect. The VRBO listing very accurately describes its many features, and the owner, Gus, is friendly and very responsive to inquiries and questions. One of the main reasons we chose this condo over others in the area is its location on Okaloosa Island, out of the excessive traffic and tourists that take over Destin in the summer. I also really loved the small size of the building. With only 23 units, the beach was never crowded for us! Our first impression of the condo when we walked in is how clean and comfortable everything was. It definitely felt like a home away from home! We especially appreciated the very well stocked kitchen, as we ate most of our meals there. I didn't have to worry about bringing lots of kitchen utensils and things, as they were all right there! All of the labels and instructions throughout the condo really made getting familiar how everything worked very easy. The extra touches, including some games, books, and even binoculars to look out over the water were greatly appreciated. The unit's two sliding glass doors in the living room and master bedroom were huge features of the unit as well. We saw so many dolphins and even fireworks one evening. The furniture on the patio is perfect for taking advantage of the views. We ate many meals out there. My family's main focus was beach time and relaxation, and we were at the beach every day. The included beach chairs and umbrella really lightened our load of stuff to carry, and the chairs were quite comfortable. The gentleman in charge of the chairs picked up on the fact that we are early birds and had them ready for us by 7:30 every morning. We also enjoyed taking our children to the Gulfarium one day, and we love eating at McGuires, Dewey Destin's, and Hog's Breath BBQ. I highly recommend this condo. My family can't wait to go back next summer!

We have stayed at Palms 501 several times in the past few years and it never fails to impress us with the amazing view and such a comfortable, clean condo where we feel at home. One of our favorite things is sitting out on the balcony - in the bar height chairs so you can easily see over the railing - and watching the waves and dolphins. We enjoy being able to access the large balcony from both the living room and the master bedroom. Having the beach service included to access the wonderful beach is great - having fewer units in the building ensures an uncrowded beach where everyone has a "front row" seat on the wonderful white sand. The condo is well-equipped with everything you need. We enjoy being on Okaloosa Island and having just a quick drive over the bridge when we want to go to Destin. Gus & Nancy are great to work with - always get questions answered quickly and always professional and cordial. Feel privileged to be able to stay in this great place!

Out of all the choices out there for vacation rentals on the Panhandle, we feel very fortunate to have found 501 The Palms and having the pleasure to be dealing with Gus and Nancy. I remarked to them when we arrived via email that the condo was "exactly" like the pictures.....no surprises, somehow seemed larger. Plain and simple, it had everything we needed to have a most enjoyable 1st time, extended, Florida vacation. So much thought has been put into the amenities and ultimately the comfort for guests. We loved the easy nautical/beachy decor, clean white palette, cleanliness, extra windows that you normally don't get and splashes of colour without a lot of clutter! The view from the balcony is the ultimate backdrop of course and it's the first thing you see when you walk in 501 from all the windows. Our favourite time at the condo was late afternoon when we came in from a great day on the beach or exploring Okaloosa/Destin....the sun pouring through all the windows. The Palms smaller size (23 units maybe) means fewer people on the beach as compared to the much larger developments. I didn't think that having a chair and umbrella was such a big deal before we went but I was totally wrong. It was a pleasure seeing Travis each morning and knowing we had a comfortable spot to spend the day. We particularly loved the fact that Okaloosa was quiet and that when we wanted to shop or eat out or get groceries, Destin was just 10 minutes away. Tom Thumb convenience store right next door was a bonus and the fresh Krispy Kreme donuts were hard to resist. We took a deep sea fishing charter out of the harbour in Destin aboard the American Spirit and caught grouper, trigger fish and vermillion snapper. Our favourite spot to eat was the original Dewey Destin on the pier and who could resist a burger at McGuires. Dealing with Gus and Nancy was a pleasure at all times and we thank them for their dedication to guests needs. I'd hesitate to recommend 501 The Palms to many people because then it will become so popular that we won't be able to book again :) Great memories of our "first" visit to Okaloosa and looking forward to returning to The Palms. We took a chance on late season weather and spent the month of November in The Palms Unit 501. The weather couldn’t have been more cooperative as the days were unseasonally warm and sunny. We found the condo to be cheery, cozy, and very tastefully decorated. Everything one would need away from home was in the unit. Every detail seemed to have been considered, including large flat screen TVs in every room, binoculars and reading material in the TV table, and tall chairs on the balcony that allowed you to enjoy the beach and surf without peering through the railing. Gus, the owner, was very personable and helpful while arranging our reservation. This. Is an awesome experience! From parking in the assigned spot (if you have an average sized car, you can do it!! ...Aura TL here). Through out the year, I have cherished the first picture taken in said assigned parking spot out over the beach. Ride the elevator up to the 5th floor, and you will be greeted by the most awesome (screensaver/balcony) beach view ever! The unit's accent lights combined with the beach lighting creates something you will never forget and will always want to go back to! Gus and Nancy are so easy to work with, they're like family! It is so nice to feel like you are "at home" when you enter the condo that you will be renting for your time away....Well, that is exactly how my family and I felt about this unit. We LOVED IT!! Extremely comfortable, spacious, fully equipped and clean!! The views from this unit are just the BEST!! From sunrise to sunset it is absolutely beautiful...White sand, blue waters...You cannot beat it...Nothing obstructing the view. The owner is very easy to work with and quick to respond to inquiries/question/concerns which to me makes the whole process smooth. We have stayed at several Oakaloosa Island condos and we were very well pleased with this condo. Nicely decorated, clean, well stocked kitchen and plenty of room for a family. Light switches are labeled, which is nice and updated TV's were really a nice bonus. The smaller complex we enjoy because you are not so crowded on the beach and having beach service provided makes it even better. Tom Thumb store next door also makes it nice to get supplies if needed. Guy was great to work with and you can tell they take care of there condo and there quests.

We stay on Okaloosa Island for a week every summer. This was our first time at the Palms and we were very pleased. The owner of this unit is very nice and considerate. Unit is very clean, tastefully decorated, PLENTY of towels in the bathrooms, and the owner had left thoughtful notes throughout to tell guests how to work all the electronics and the door lock, etc. All the light switches are labelled as to what they do which is another thoughtful touch that eliminates guessing games. Can not say enough nice things about this condo! Moving to the exterior, the elevator is a little slow but since the Palms is a smaller complex it's not a big deal at all. The pool is on the smallish side but clean and the 3-4 foot depth is perfect for kids especially. I would happily recommend this condo with 5 stars!!

We were delighted with this great getaway. The condo was much more spacious than the pictures show. Upon arrival the condo was clean and the view was spectacular. The location is near restaurants, shopping and family friendly fun. We were close enough to drive to Destin. Gus was available by phone when we had a question. Our favorite things to do were kayaking in the gulf, watching the waves roll in on the beach chairs set up for you each day, the ropes course, and eating out because who wants to cook on vacation?

This was our second year to stay in this condo and we absolutely love it. It is the perfect size for our family! Our boys (13 & 8) love having their own beds and private bathroom. The master bedroom is a great size and we love the balcony in the mornings. The kitchen has everything you need to prepare family meals. The living area is opened to the dining area and has plenty of space to enjoy. It is always clean and well maintained and literally feels like our home away from home. We have stayed in several places in this area, and this is by far our favorite. The owners are so easy to deal with and are there to answer any and all questions that we have ever had. We plan to stay here every summer!

My family and I [ 2 16 year olds and 1 8 year old ] rented this condo for a week and it was Amazing!! We have been to Okaloosa plenty of times, the water and beach remind me of the tropics, and this condo was by far the best!! The view was amazing, the location couldn't have been better, the price was perfect and the owners were a joy to deal with!! Perfect spot to wake up to while you have your coffee and watch the dolphins play. Only place we have stayed where the dolphins played all day. It is within walking distance to a store and just a few miles from anything you could possibly want to eat or do! I do my research on condos every time before I decide on which one to rent and this one was priced accordingly to what I thought it should be as going off the pictures. Man was I wrong!!! The pictures do this condo no justice AT ALL!!! I can not put into words how beautiful it is! Another thing we enjoyed was that the kitchen was fully equipped with anything you could possibly need! Except food of course! Last but DEFINITELY not least.The owners are AMAZING people. They made the reservation process a breeze and are super fast at responding to any questions. Trust me when I say they go ABOVE and BEYOND to make sure your stay is as comfortable as possible from the time you arrive untill the time you leave! The guy that does the beach service is even great!! He made sure we never needed anything and even went out past the sandbar on his paddle board and brought my kids back sand dollars! Definitely have found our new yearly vacation condo for life!!!!!!! Thanks so much for sharing with our family!!

This is my families 3rd time staying at this condo and it is the best!! The condo is very clean and has everything that you need for a stay at the beach. The location of The Palms is in a very good (less crowded) area of Okaloosa Island. The owners are awesome to work with and make renting the condo very easy and hassle free. (Much better than dealing with rental management company in my opinion.) The beach access is also great and we love having the beach chairs and umbrella set up for you. We love it so much that we wouldn't think about staying anywhere else in the area! If you are looking for a comfortable, relaxing and beautiful beach vacation then this is the perfect condo! Really enjoyed Props Brewery & Grill in Ft. Walton only 5 minutes away. (Live music and great reasonably priced bar type food.) Also Dewey Destin's is a must go for seafood! Delicious!

This is our second year staying at this condo (and coming to Ft. Walton/Okaloosa Island for the past 10 years) and it is hands-down the best condo we have stayed at in Okaloosa Island but also Navarre and Destin. The owners are fantastic to work with and you can tell that they really care about their guests having a wonderful time. The condo has everything you would ever need for a stay, is very clean and well maintained, great beach access and the additional beach service (two chairs and an umbrella) are a great extra. Close enough to Destin for shopping and dining but far enough away to enjoy beaches that are not so packed. Most everyone that stays at the The Palms are families and many return year after year. If you are looking for a condo for a weekend, a week or even longer, this is the place.

We have been coming to Okaloosa Island for the last 20 years and have stayed in several different condos. This condo is one of the best ones we have stayed in (we have also stayed in one of the penthouses here). I love The Palms condominium complex . We have stayed in condos that you have to walk around the building to get to the beach. This one has super easy access to the beach. We had an extremely relaxing stay there!! The whole process with this condo was EXTREMELY hassle free (I have stayed in some that are a pain) The condo is perfectly decorated (Not flashy just comfortable). Love the taller chairs on the balcony so you can see over the railing better. Definitely recommend this condo for a very relaxing time!!!

we recently stayed in this condo for our family vacation... The condo is very clean and the view is spectacular, it's very relaxing waking up to the sound of the waves and watching the dolphins from our bedroom. Gus Was really helpful and easy to deal with.. We are definitely coming back.

This condo was absolutely wonderful for our family of 4 - 2 adults and 2 teenagers!! It is spacious and very clean!! Great view from the balcony! We really enjoyed staying on Okaloosa Island, as it is only 5 minutes to Destin's activities, but Okaloosa Island has much less traffic and is so much less crowded! Our private beach was very enjoyable and peaceful and fun!! Thanks so much to Gus and Nancy for sharing their great condo with us!! It's on the 5th floor and we took the stairs almost every time, so we got lots of exercise! I started to run out of leg muscle at the 4th floor, but kept on going, wanted to get that exercise in - after eating so much good food in the area!! We hope to come back here again!!

We normally take "stay-cations", but this year we decided to go to the beach. My wife found this condo online. Couldn't have been a better discovery. The four of us had a wonderful time. The weather was perfect and the condo couldn't have been better. The amenities made us feel right at home. Cozy enough for us to spend some quality family time together, but roomy enough when we needed our own space. During the entire process Gus was great. He really went out of his way to make the whole experience enjoyable and relaxing for us. If you go make sure to check out Fudpucker's. Everything on the menu looks good, but the burgers are my favorite. We will definitely be booking our next beach vacation with Gus and Nancy.

We loved our stay here. The owners are very helpful and gave us great recommendations for places to eat and visit. Wonderful view from the balcony, spent a lot of time there just listening to the waves and watching the dolphins. Also spent a lot of time at the beach which includes daily set up of an umbrella and 2 chairs. The kitchen has everything you need to prepare a meal or if you would like to eat out, McGuire's Irish Pub has great steaks and Fudpuckers is a family friendly place where you can feed the alligators and even hold one if you'd like. Plus their food is really good too. This was our first stay, and it was very relaxing and enjoyable. Can't wait to get back. Thank you Gus and Nancy!

We so enjoyed our week here. We spent so much time on the patio. We would eat breakfast out there & enjoy a mimosa or two. Most mornings we would take a nice walk around some of the near by neighborhoods or down the beautiful beach. The rest of our day was spent on the beach enjoying the beautiful white sand and clear water. The temperature of the gulf was perfect when we were there in September. I've never spent so much time in the water! We really enjoyed watching all the dolphins; we saw them all the time! We spent a couple evenings in the condo and went out a few nights as well. We found a fantastic Italian restaurant called Caffe Italia and also enjoyed a wonderful dinner at McGuire's. The nearby Tom Thumb comes in very handy for snacks, etc. The condo is absolutely gorgeous and had everything we could possibly need. We so enjoyed our time here. Gus is a delight to deal with. We will be back!

After a lot of property searches and many exchanged emails with the owners of different properties, we chose this rental for a one week visit. Gus (the owner) was very accomodating in answering our questions and was one of the few owners who actually answered all of our inquiries. The details that Gus shared about the property were accurate and we felt that it was properly represented. After discussing the area with different friends who vaction in the Destin area we chose Ft. Walton due to its easy access and proximity to activities without actually being in Destin. It was great option being able to drive 10 minutes to Destin and then being able to retreat back to the condo away from the crowds and hassles. The condo is easily accessed by stairs and an elevator (albeit the slowest elevator that I have ever used-Gus mentioned this). The unit is on the 5th Floor of a 6 floor building and is well appointed and clean. We were warned that parking was extremely tight due to the load bearing beams in the garage (hint: pull into the temporary parking spot next to the spot for this unit and parallel into the stall). The rent included beach chairs which are a must. The beach attendants are very helpful and friendly. We brought an extra kid's umbrella and put it beside us and it made for very comfortable beach time. We received our deposit back very quickly and there were no issues due to the excellent communication from the owner. Highlights: - Phenomenal views (get up early to see the dolphins feeding) - Rooms are well appointed and the 3 TVs offer a great channel selection - Inclusive Beach chair rent is a nice perk (I didn't want to deal with it when I arrived) - Fantastic owner who really wants to make your visit a positive one - Dedicated parking stall (if you use my tip) - Less busy area than even other Ft. Walton locations - Good shower pressures and ample bathroom space - Night crab walks were a hit with the kids (beach is extremely safe) Overall, one of the best rentals that I have ever been in. If you want to do the Destin area right and dabble in the crowds only when you feel like it, stay in Ft. Walton and dial up Gus. Hopefully, the stars align and we can get back to Ft. Walton next year and this unit is open.

I highly recommend this condo! We have stayed here twice and it's just perfect. Very clean and comfortable. The owners are great to work with and the condo has everything you need. It is a great location but also peaceful. My family loves it here and wouldn't stay anywhere else! We can't wait to come back!

My family of four was there the middle of June. This is a charming condo, complete with everything you need to make your vacation on the beach just right. The space is warm and well cared for, and the owners are available and easy to communicate with. We loved that it is a small building, and so are the neighboring buildings, so the beach was never crowded. The complimentary beach chairs and umbrella were much appreciated. We would love to come back!

My husband & 2 children (ages 3 & 6) stayed for 4 nights in early June. The condo was perfect for us! My kids enjoyed eating breakfast on the large balcony every morning & having a room to themselves! The condo is a very short walk from the stairs...which was perfect having two young children! The complex is only a few condos in which the beach was never crowded! Gus was very nice to talk to & even texted us to let us know the condo was ready early for us! My husband & I wanted a relaxing no schedule week at the beach & we found it in this beautiful condo! Our boys (5 & 7 @ the time) loved the condo & were sad that 2 days of storms brought out the Red flag but still say can we go back to to beach place where the dolphins came up to us. We stayed in this unit in 10/12 before moving from central IN to Southern IN. We hope to go back this year for fall break now that the trip is 4 hrs shorter. Gus & Nancy did a GREAT job on updates & making their 2nd home feel like our 2nd home. Gus always answered calls & emails promptly & even helped us with figuring out how to fix the TV when our youngest hit a button on remote locking TV in mute & channel. It also helps there is a washer & dryer with kids. The best part of Okaloosa Island is that it's not crowded, beautiful emerald waters, dolphins daily & relaxing in the provided beach chairs. You really need to book this condo & see the beauty for yourself. I'm confident you will LOVE it & return!

We arrived Nov. 1 and stayed the month November. The condo was exactly as pictured on the website - gorgeous. Very clean. It was well equipped and the view from the balcony was awesome especially the dolphins swimming be every morning and the sunrises and sunsets. We enjoyed our breakfast every morning out there. Mother Nature was finicky during our girls-getaway trip and it rained the entire time. Wow this condo was awesome, the view of the beach and the water is wonderful. the convenience of location is just right a tom thumb is just across the parking lot and Destin is only a few miles away with all its shopping ,restaurants and marina .we recommend trying mcguires irish pub and restaurant awesome food and atmosphere. The Fishing pier is just down the road a little way along with the Gulf-arium. The condo is one of the cleanest and most comfortable that we have stayed in, the décor and furniture is very nice and comfortable. it almost a shame to spend so much time on the beach and sight seeing when the condo is so nice.The Owners Gus and Nancy are so wonderful to work with. we booked our trip on a last minute reservation just because we was watching weather and had looked at every condo in Florida it seemed like trying to make a decision on where to stay. booking was so easy a few emails a phone call and we were set. Gus even text us to let us know the condo was ready a little early if we wanted to get in before the 3:00 check in time. the condo is so easy to keep things clean with the beautiful counter tops and tile floor. the private balcony is nice with the access from the bedroom or the living room. We are so glad we spent our vacation at gus and nancy's condo and hope to return next spring with some of our friends. thanks again Gus and Nancy for letting us have a wonderful vacation in your condo in paradise.

We had a great stay here for 4 nights! Wish we had booked it for longer! Very clean with new upscale furnishings. The owner is very responsive and great to work with. The Condo was fantastic for our family. We enjoyed staying there for six nights. The description of the location was perfect. In fact when we arrived, the condo and location exceeded our expectations. The property was extremely well maintained and had all amenities to make our stay perfect. I emailed the owner a few times asking some questions, and he quickly responded. He even took the time to answer a phone call and then proceeded to give me many suggestions of where to sightsee, visit and eat of which we took advantage of. We hope to return again and take my mother. I would recommend this condo to our family and friends as it made our getaway perfect. We enjoyed being right on the beach and watching the dolphins in the early evening from our deck. We also appreciated the amenity of two beach chairs and umbrella set out everyday for us. This condo was exceptional and the cleanest unit I have stayed in, even the floors were clean. The new furnishings and tasteful decor is a bonus. The linens are of good quality. The owners have put much thought into guests needs with many extras not typically found in other condos. We enjoyed the high seat balcony chairs and binoculars to watch the dolphins. Since we like to cook meals in, we appreciated the well equipped kitchen. Gulf Coast Seafood is close and easy to get fresh local seafood. There are restaurants nearby and I enjoy Old BaySteamer, Anglers, Floyds and the Black Pearl. Fudpuckers is fun for the kids with live alligators. The slow elevator did not bother us as this is a small complex so no one was waiting. The unit is beside the stairs so we often used them. The beach service is so convenient and the attendants are friendly and helpful. The pool is small but we stayed at the beach most if the day. Walking distance to Tom Thumb convenient store is handy and Publix grocery is close by I look forward to staying in this condo again.

This condo is decorated beautifully and has everything you need to enjoy your stay. Our family of five had a wonderful week. The owner was awesome to deal with. Every morning we watched the dolphins from the spacious balcony while we drank our morning coffee. We loved the two chairs that are set up for you every morning on the beach, that was a plus! Great location and nicely furnished condo. We will definately being staying here again when in the area. Gus (owner) was great to deal with. The Island was a refreshing break from the overly crowded beaches in other Destin areas. Lots of opportunities for dolphin viewing throughout the day and they were close to shore. Very nice the owner provides two beach chair & umbrella rental inclusive with the rental.

We spent a week here in August and thoroughly enjoyed it! The condo is top notch - very clean & comfortable - we loved it! Truly, all the comforts of home. The remodeling was worth every cent; even a rainy day here would feel like a vacation. We loved the white sandy beach and exploring the area for fun places at night. Nobody will go hungry or thirsty in this area. We enjoyed Fokker's for a comfy, small-town bar/grill atmosphere. Gus was very accommodating & helpful. We highly recommend this unit & hope we can visit again some time in the future. We lucked out with the weather too - only sprinkles one afternoon that we were there. LOVED IT!!!

We had a wonderful time at this condo! Everything was as described and more! It was very clean and newly decorated with everything and just about anything you might need. Nice towels and linens, even soap and shampoo provided. The beach was pristine. Brian, our beach attendant, was eager to please. Some of our relatives that had rented one of the penthouses actually liked our condo better! Thanks Gus for going out of your way to make sure we got our keys. I had to laugh as we found a third set waiting for us on the bar when we got there! They keyless entry was an added bonus which we took full advantage of. (Way better than searching for keys or getting locked out) Our relatives were jealous of that as well! Wifi was nice to have. We were glad we brought our laptop!
