The Crab Shack

Very spacious for a family of 6. Short walk to recreation spot. Pool was clean. There were tennis and pickle ball rackets. But no ball so bring your own. Nice selection of board and card games. Quick response to an issue with the ice maker. Close to activities and restaurants Not the owners fault, the back deck was sun all day long. The back deck could use some work there are some loose boards. Parking was tight. Two cars can fit snuggly

Fantastic stay, very close walk to beach and pool! Spacious and clean. Wished they would provide more necessities: more toilet paper/paper towels, etc. but we went and bought some after we ran out. The house and location are fantastic, free chairs and umbrellas on beach are a great plus!

Our stay was more than what we expected, we were very pleased with the house we stayed in the crab shack met all our expectations and more , our only complaint would be we were not right on the beach , but the drive was less than 5 minutes , I would definitely do this again 100 percent . Everyone was very helpful and very courteous . Highly recommend going thru realjoy for all your vacation needs, thank you for a great vacation.

My family had an amazing vacation! This home was a perfect place for vacation. There was plenty of space in the home, the surrounding was beautiful and there was a lot to do. The main TV in the living room was having problems and we could not get it to stay on, the screen would turn on and then off every few minutes after being on. That was the only problem we noticed.

We enjoyed our stay at the Crab Shack. The house was so inviting. Beautifully decorated. The bed in the primary bedroom was so comfy & an adjustable bed in one of the other bedrooms was a pleasant surprise! We had everything that we needed in the kitchen to make mealtime easy. It was wonderful to be so close to the beach with the convenience of having beach service the only thing we needed to carry was a beach bag! Looking forward to coming back again.

We had an amazing vacation in this home! I will definitely stay here again. Location was perfect, very clean and decorated like a beach house should be . Having the pool and pickleball courts was a huge plus! Short walk to the beach and short drive to everything we wanted to do in Destin. We had a smoke alarm issue which was resolved within 15mins. So easy to contact realjoy representative! Only negative I'd say is the pans are kinda old, hard to cook because the pans were not nonstick and the kitchen table was very unlevel and wobbly. And the golf cart was in the driveway (couldn't use) making it hard to park 2 cars. Loved being able to bring our pets also!

The access to the beach was walking distance. The King Bed in the Masters Bathroom is sunken in on left side (by side window) it’s visibly noticeable. It was very uncomfortable to sleep in the master bed room.

This was our first visit to Destin, Florida. We chose this house because it looked very nice and had enough space for us and our three teenagers to have our own space and because it seemed to be at a good location at a reasonable price. We were not disappointed! We really liked how spacious, clean and nicely decorated this place was. There is access to a private beach area for the community and they already have beach chairs and umbrellas there. You do need to bring beach towels and I recommend to bring clothes detergent if you are planning on washing any clothes. Also, they provide only two detergent tabs so if you are planning on running the dishwasher more than twice you should consider bringing some. We absolutely loved this rental and will gladly come back in the future.

We are happy to know that this three-bedroom, two-bath cottage in Maravilla Resort did not disappoint, finding it to be very spacious, clean, nicely decorated, and reasonably priced. Please accept our apology for any inconvenience caused by the number of supplies offered. As mentioned in the rental agreement, housekeeping provides a limited amount (starters) of such products as dish detergent, trash bags, toilet paper, and paper towels. I 100% recommend this place if you are in the Destin area (Miramar). We took 10 people total and all slept comfortably. The place has great lighting. Pool is basically in the backyard and beach only a little further! The one thing that we felt was missing were things like paper towels and toilet paper, but other than that there were no complaints! Loved it and would get it again.

Home was clean and well kept. Easy check in as well as checking out. Private beach is only a 6 minute walk and if you'd like to access the public beach, its only about 12 minutes away in walking distance.
