Surfin' Turtle

We just checked out from Cypress Dunes in Santa Rosa Beach, Florida, and had a fantastic stay! The resort is beautiful and peaceful—perfect for a relaxing getaway. We especially appreciated having access to four bikes, which made exploring the area so much fun. We rode to the nearby state park and also biked out for coffee in the mornings, which was such a great way to start the day. Highly recommend this place for anyone looking to enjoy nature, quiet, and a bit of adventure!

We had a Most Outstanding stay! Any questions we had were responded to quickly. The house and all of the wonderful community amenities (bikes, infinity pool and tennis courts for Pickleball. The Beaches...loved Top Sail State Park just minutes away.) made our trip so special. Many family memories were made!

Nice place in a lovely area that straddles the fence between a resort and neighborhood feel. We were able to ride bikes to a couple meals and the beach and enjoyed the pool and other amenities.

My hubby and I had an awesome trip. Our kids backed out on us last minute and we had the 3BR place to ourselves and it was so fun. The home was comfortable, the beach was AMAZING and is just a 3 minute drive down the road. The home is in a VERY nice neighborhood with an awesome pool and workout area. My hubby needs high speed internet and theirs was great for his work!! We also enjoyed using the bikes that were provided. We had a couple of glitches but they were dealt with and we felt heard on all of it. Here are the small issues: 1. The previous tenants had filled the trash to the brim and the subdivision did not pick it up even though it was on the street. However, the management company came and got it promptly!! 2. The AC controller went off for a bit and the management company was about to bring us a fan until it could be investigated, but thankfully it came back on. 3. The TV connection does not work well on the channels, but we played card games instead. More quality human time anyway!! 4. The master shower had a good bit of mold in it. Their home cleaners charge $350 to clean the property and should really have removed it for the price. SHAME ON THEM!! But the management company is taking care of that as well. ALl in all we had a GREAT time and would stay here again. Realjoy was awesome to work with. : )

Wonderful Dune Allen Beach cottage! We loved our stay at this property. The location was perfect for us and the home was just as advertised. My husband and I extended our Florida stay and booked this property. The community was beautiful and very quiet and peaceful. The pool area was picturesque. The home was comfortable. The screened in porch was a nice bonus. The bed was very comfortable. I think the only thing I noticed and it was not a big deal was that there were some signs of wear to the property. It could use some freshening up but honestly who really cares? It was such a great place to stay! My husband even saw deer eating lily pads when he walked on the neighborhood boardwalk. It is right down the street from Topsail National park and the beach there is one of the prettiest I have ever seen! It was a great stay! Thank you!

I loved the open design of the house. Bedrooms in the back were quiet for folks who did not want to stay up late nights. Yet others could enjoy themselves. The floors need some attention. They were generally filthy. Those of us who kick off our shoes noticed how black our feet got walking on the floors. It was like going barefoot in a Jiffy Mart! The chairs around the dining table need to be thrown out. The bottom cushions are gone. You sit in them and you sink 8 inches into a hole. Time to let these go and get something else. We did appreciate having a table that could fit everyone for every meal. Loved the location. Lots to do. Topsail State Park is a real treasure!! The property managers for the house were top notch, very professional and helpful. Thanks again.

This was an excellent location. A beautiful, peaceful neighborhood. The pool and hot tub were a hit. It affords excellent access to the beach, bike path, walking trails as well as easy access to both the whimsical 30-A corridor as well as the practical necessities along Hwy 98 such as groceries and The doughnut Hole. The house itself was stylish and clean. It was well appointed and we particularlly appreciated the screened in front porch and the clean functioning gas grill. The beds were also really comfortable. I would highly recommend this property to others and would seek it out in the future for our family.

This is a fabulous little beach house in a gorgeous gated community. It's a quiet community somewhat far from the hustle and bustle of Seaside, which is exactly what we wanted. Beautiful infinity pool with a view of the ocean and a beautiful workout space and tennis courts. The house is basic, but lovely. We especially enjoyed the beautiful screened in porch. We loved staying here. It was away from the busyness of most of 30A but quick and easy to get to restaurants. It's a residential neighborhood so it was very quiet. The pool was like a resort pool and the view was beautiful. It was unlike a lot of the pools you'll find along 30A. We didn't mind driving 10-30 minutes to dinner or shopping. We preferred Dune Allen beach as well because it was just so peaceful and without crowds. The layout of the house was also great.

This is the second time we have stayed at The Surfin’ Turtle, and it does not disappoint. It is a beautiful place to stay and vacation. The house has everything you need and is very comfortable. The infinity pool overlooks the emerald green coastline. The Surfin Turtle is close to shopping, restaurants, and anything you can imagine you would want. The gated community is quiet and a great place for a walk or bike ride. We will definitely go back and stay at The Surfin Turtle again. I can’t say enough about the great experience.

This place is top notch. We were very pleased with the house. The art work, tall ceilings, and just everything , modern appliances. The kids loved the bikes and the pool. The scene of the beach from the pool is breathtaking. We also went to the fitness center there a few times. We took an extended weekend trip to the beach and stayed at Surfin’ Turtle. Great layout with good size bedrooms. The kitchen and living area were perfect to gather around and relax with our friends. The beach is close by & the amentites included were nice. Love the infinity pool! We chose to drive to the closest beach access because that worked best for us, but you could walk or take a free shuttle. Loved it and would definitely stay again!

Surfin' Turtle was the perfect stay. So quiet and relaxing. Just a short walk down the road to the pool and quick 2 minute drive to the beach! Everything we needed was in the house and if not, a Walmart was a quick 2-3 minute drive down the street. The pool and beach were both very quiet and relaxing. The house was clean and very high end. We were there for 10 days and we did NOT want to leave!! We actually needed 3 additional days on our stay at the Surfin' Turtle and the customer service we receieved was acceptional. Anything we needed, Tyler was a quick text away! Highly highly recommend this place!!

We rented this home for our golf trip. We were not there much but really loved the tall ceilings, big hallway and nice finishes throughout. The deck was nice and I would consider renting again if my family and I needed a place to rent for family vacation. We didn't visits the pool but the neighborhood is gated and looked to be a great place to walk or jog. The only issue we had was the outside unit for the air conditioner made a very loud and obnoxious noise when turning on...loud enough to wake us out of our sleep. The rental company was easy to work with and check-in was a breeze.

We had a great time with our grandkids at this vacation house in Cypress Cove's gated community. The house felt like a home, clean with a lot of space, great kitchen, big bedrooms. Enjoyed playing in the heated pool with the grandkids, and the hot tub was terrific. The gated community allows for a safe walking environment. Got on a bike for the first time in about 50 years. There are so many places to shop, see movies and eat out, that it made for a difficult choice. The screened in front porch was a great place to have morning coffee and evening downtime. I will definitely recommend to my family and friends. Thanks for such a lovely place to be with my grandkids.

Spent Christmas break at the Surfin' Turtle at Cypress Cove in Santa Rosa Beach, FL. Couldn't have had a better time or place to stay. Plenty of room, beautifully decorated, everything you need for a great stay. The infinity pool was fantastic and it was heated for the few days the temp was in the 60's? Within minutes of any type of shopping and restaurants you can imagine. Close to the beautiful white sands of the Gulf Coast. I highly recommend the Surfin' Turtle for your next vacation destination, you won't be disappointed.

This was our best vacation yet. House was incredible! Not sure if the kids enjoyed the pool or the ocean more! Screened in porch was awesome for my morning coffee!

If you haven't visited the 30A area yet you are missing out! This property was wonderful for my family and exactly what we were looking for. I don't normally do reviews but we had such a great time together as a family I had to share! God bless

I was so happy to see the gated community, and then the house with those beautiful high ceilings, it was great. Then the pool. It was unbelievable and that view of the gulf was amazing. We couldn't have been happier. We went to the state park next door and visited the beach, and it was like having our own personal beach. White sands and our kids loved it! The bike trails made for easy biking. We didn't get to try the tennis courts, but next time! Made many great memories with th family, thanks!!
