Wonderful stay, only wished it was longer. The beach was amazing, the water was perfect for swimming and the pool was very clean and great for morning swimming. The location was wonderful and the staff at Real Joy Vacations were excellent at communicating with us. Will love to go back.

Not our first time at Sterling Sands - we love it here. Location was great and the place was very clean. Kitchen has everything you need except for storage containers for left overs. The porch furniture was amazing and comfy. Advice - when you check in go straight to the chair and umbrella rental shack first thing to reserve your prepaid chair and umbrella. This will help you avoid a line the next morning and delays on being able to set up prior to 9am. We rented an additional umbrella as we were a party of 4 and had 2 chairs with us already. Restaurants we ate at that was GREAT - Kenny D's, McGuires Irish Pub, The Shrimp Basket, Sandlot Sports Bar, Merlin's Pizza, The Boathouse at the harbor walk, and top it off with The Back Porch. We also rented a pontoon for the day from Boogies Pontoon rental and went to crab island, which was fantastic and never disappoints. We did have a great week of clear weather however I haven't been to Destin in June and the last 2 days of our trip the June grass was rolling in. Made for an icky ocean day, but great pool day!! The master bed does need to be either flipped or replaced. Both sides of the bed are dipped in pretty good, meaning you can not roll over easily and stuck in one place. The master shower needs either an over the shower head caddy for you to be able to hang your wash rags/sponges from and your shampoo/conditioner instead of sitting them on the shower floor.

Spectacular views of the beach and sounds of the ocean every morning when you wake up and look out the balcony. The condo is right on the beach and the pool was perfect for the kids. All restaurants, grocery stores, and attractions were right on Highway 98 so we never had to travel far. Real Joy Vacations kept in contact from booking, to check in and check out. They answered any and all questions I had. They also have a great Guest Portal to help you navigate your stay.

The location was excellent couldn't have asked for a better view. The wall to wall windows and sliding doors were perfect with the amazing view we had. Waking up to a view like that and going to sleep with a view like that is breath taking. The condo was perfect. The size was perfect for 6 ppl. The beds were the most comfortable beds I have ever slept in. We had pretty much everything we could possibly need. I will definitely be booking another vacation there at Sterling Sands. The pool and beach were pretty much right at our feet. We stayed on the second floor. Our room was right off the elevators so that was nice. And we had all attractions and food close even walking distance. Walmart was 5min down the street so convient if your staying more than a few days. I didn't want my vacation to end. I only have 1 complaint. They don't allow smoking anywhere but in front of the condos under the awning. But our place smelled of cigarettes. And then got accused by the night security guard of smoking more then once. Because he said he seen smoke coming from our balcony on our first night and we had just got there and had put our things down to take a look at the view. And from that first day I felt like he was harassing us. Would sit at the corner of the pool just watching us while we sat on our balcony trying to enjoy beautiful view. They did offer to air clean the place to get rid of the smoke smell. That I did appreciate.

We are not a family that gets to travel and see spend a lot of time in these type of places very often so we don’t know how things work. The location was perfect and we loved the beach access and pool area. Loved that the pool area was heated as it was a bit chilly when we were there. It was clean and had TONS of kitchen supplies which I loved as someone who cooks! Also we loved having 2 chairs on the beach already included in our stay! The only thing I could probably is say is that the tv in the main room was going out. So the screen was very blue. We did report it and they sent someone right away but unfortunately couldn’t be replaced immediately. Due to our stay being early in the season the year chair fee had not been taken care of yet and we had to wait a day. They were quick to fix it though! Overall it was a great stay!!

The location is perfect. Easy access to the beach and since It’s downtown destin, there are so many fun things to do right by you. We enjoyed going to the harbor boardwalk with all kinds of restaurants and such. The condo is spacious and clean. There were a few things to note that may help your stay. Bring extra paper towels, trash bags, salt/pepper, condiments, etc. I am used to condos having basic salt and pepper so we didn’t get any from the store. Would have been nice to have. I do wish the condo had nicer pans (they’re pretty old) but they did the job. The hot water isn’t that great. There is a big giant tub in the master bedroom (it has jets and everything), but it only filled half way before getting cold. They really need to fix the hot water issue because I saw other reviews bringing up the same thing. All in all, it was a great condo and I really enjoyed it. The big balcony and view were the best!

Please accept our apology for any inconvenience caused regarding the hot water and lack of some supplies. As mentioned in the rental agreement, housekeeping only provides a limited amount (starters) of such items as paper towels, trash bags, toilet paper, and dish detergent. Spices, condiments, coffee, etc. are not provided because of food safety concerns. Guests must provide any additional items needed for/during their stay. The condo was nice and spacious. We arrived just after the HOA office closed on Saturday. Our wrist bands were left for us in the condo but no access code to get into the pool or other amenities. I called the customer service number and spoke to a very nice lady that informed me they didn’t have the code either. Since Sunday was July 4th the HOA office didn’t open until 2pm. ☹️ The condo itself was lovely. I enjoyed the large balcony with the beautiful view. Being on the second floor we could easily take the stairs instead of waiting for the elevator. I loved that even though it was a holiday week the pool and beach didn’t seem to be overly crowded, like other places we have stayed. My only recommendation would be that the mattress in the master bedroom could be replaced. We had a wonderful, relaxing week. I would definitely recommend and would love to stay again the next time we vacation in Destin.

Destin is absolutely beautiful. This condo is right on the beach with breathtaking views, emerald waters, and soft powder white sands. Listening to the rolling waves of the gulf all day and night through the 2 double patio doors was amazing. Condo is beautifully decorated, very spacious and has pretty much everything you need. Hoping to go back in the future to create more memories.
