This place was a pleasure for our family's stay. The balcony was our favorite place to decompress and just feel the breeze. We also had a front row view of the pool. The beach was maybe a 5 minute walk at max with private gated access. We were in the Heart of Destin and all the festivities, yet still perfectly quiet for a good night's rest. No complaints. Perfect stay. And God willing We will return soon.

Overall our stay was good, we had an issue with the master shower didn’t know how to work the shower head instructions given to us was wrong until checkout day. But we made 1 shower for 6 people workout… location is great lots of activities around, a water park right across the street we did not visit but plan to next time. Beach access is private which was great and easy. Pool was good, a bit small but was not busy when we went. Beds were comfy, there was a stain on master sheets but we removed it off the bed and placed a new one found in a closet. House could be cleaned a bit better like the floors and you may see a cockroach or two.

We had a great time! Location super close to the beach. Only complaint was the porch was covered in black sticky stuff. Other than that the place was clean and comfortably slept 6. Will definitely book with real joy again!

The property is in a good location and close to the beach. The beach is not crowded at all. The condo needs a bit of updating but overall it is in good shape. Needs more utensils in the kitchen and more paper towels but we would stay again.

Nice place with reasonable rates. No problems with our rental except we had to call for additional wash cloths since there were only two upon checkin. Timely response in getting the additional cloths. Will definitely use RealJoy again for future rentals!

Great place, nice area. Great communication with the host. The only issue that we found was that the checkout was very early (10:00AM) and they did not offer the choice of late check out. Other than that, very very nice.

I absolutely enjoyed my stay. On call staff responded to our every need. The property manager Ashley was delightful. The location was ideal for restaurants, beach access, and entertainment for family. The only thing I would recommend is showers instead of bath.

We booked this airbnb for a short 3 day weekend trip. We had never visited Destin before. The beach is beautiful, we really enjoyed the private area offered. Though the walk is short, the path could be clearer. The AC works well in the main living room area of the house, but towards the kids room it does tend to get warmer. Very convenient to have the washer & dryer, easy to only carry one beach towel and regular towel. Guest shower could use some extra love/cleaning. Overall the trip was great! The sights were beautiful, everything very close-by. I think for the cost one’s opinion is debatable. You have a bunch of amenities, and can feel relaxed! For a 3 nights stay this was very practical.

For our Destin vacation, we were looking for an affordable property that had direct beach access, similar to our stay five years ago in Panama City Beach. We found this at the St. Martin Beachwalk Villas. We had a 4th floor unit, but it was very clean and spacious. The actual walk out to the beach was via a secure door-locked pathway that was around the property, maybe a 4-5 minute walk from our door... worth it! We were blasted with cold air conditioning upon entry, which was so welcoming from the hot & humid July weather. The rooms were spacious, beds and linens aplenty. The listing advised us to get more paper goods beyond a day's stay, so that was no surprise to us. Cable TV and internet was working well, unlike our relatives across the street in a different condo. That's a luxury you'd hate to be without. The in-unit washer and dryer were powerful and used often. And communication with the staff about little things was via email and very prompt. Of course, the traffic in mid-July was pretty busy, but the location was optimal to all the things to do in Destin. Our stay at the St. Martin Beachwalk Villas was great, even the teenagers said so.

The property was nice. They really could have supplied more than one roll of toilet paper for each bathroom. More than three garbage bags, and laundry detergent. Also there was only one dish towel. We had to purchase this items because we stayed 5 days.

The proximity to the beach. The private balcony although it wasn’t beach view it was a pool view. The privacy of the property. The kitchen was fully equipped with plates, utensils, blender, pots, pans, mixing bowls, oven dishes for baking, dish soap and dishwasher pods, kitchen towels, etc. The restrooms had towels also. There was even paper plates and utensils others had left. Closets had hangers. There were extra blankets in one closet, no extra pillows, except for two throw pillows. The beds were not comfortable. The main master rooms bed was uneven and it felt like it was going to break on us just by getting into bed. The other bed king bed was hard too. I didn’t like it was on the third floor (I didn’t realia this when booking) and there is no elevator so taking things up and down is a bit of a hassle but we mostly left what we could in our vehicle. We have a pick up truck and nothing was stolen because the property is so private.
