The condo is great, clean and in a good location. The ice maker wasn’t working so we ended up having to buy ice and unfortunately, they couldn’t get it fixed while we were there but they were quick with a response and said they would reimburse. Overall, we would stay there again.

We absolutely love looking out over the water from our balcony. It was so nice to just walk over to the beach from our unit. Our condo was quiet and the layout was perfect with a bedroom and bath on each side of the living area. It made it very private when we had guests.

This condo is perfect! It is decorated cute with plenty of seating both inside and out. They thought of everything! The kitchen is fully stocked with all the items you may need. The property is also amazing with the kids pool and shallow portions of the oversized resort style pool perfect for our toddler. We used the grill by the pool and took advantage of the beach bar at sunset for live music. We will absolutely be back!

The place was just a described. Exactly like the photos on the site. Very spacious, clean, all the amenities we could ask for and more. Great location, close to restaurants, shopping, and plenty of activities. Beach was a short walk just past the very nice large pool. TVs in every room with lots of channels and personal App (Netflix, Amazon Prime, Hulu, Apple TV) options. The kitchen Appliances and cook ware were all high end which my wife loved. The King beds were very comfortable. The master bathroom was wonderful.

The perfect home away from home! This place was the perfect size for our family of five. We loved the time out on the balcony getting to soak in the view of the ocean and the sunsets. I loved all of the cute decorations and all of the items available in the kitchen. The laundry room was so nice to have! The kids loved the additional beach toys stored in the closet. We loved how close the condo was to the beach and having a smaller more private pool to swim in. The resort is conveniently close to multiple stores and restaurants. The beach was absolutely gorgeous with soft, white sand. This was the perfect place to spend a family vacation!

We stayed in the St Lucia building and had a wonderful view of the sea. The apartment was beautifully decorated for comfort & style. Even the appliances were top grade. The pool is spacious and heated for December. The beach with its luscious white sand was steps away. I have not one single complaint, the place is perfect.

My family and I have been staying at Silver Shells each time we come to Destin for the last 17 years off and on. This unit was by far the best we’ve stayed in as far as cleanliness and having everything you could need! Easy walk to the pool and beach and a beautiful split view of the beach and city side. At other favorite is The Sand Bar for some quick lunches and yummy drinks! We will definitely be booking future stays at Silver Shells and more specifically this unit!

All in all this was a great condo. Kitchen was well stocked with utensils, dishes nice pots and pans. Unit was clean and nice furniture. Decor is very beachy. Only complaint would be the fab situation. You need a fab to enter building from garage or to get to pools and beach, but they only give you 2 for a condo that sleeps 6? I called and eventually got 1 more which helped but not ideal.

The condo was well-maintained and exactly as pictured. The kitchen had everything we could need, and the beds were comfortable. We loved the location--very short walk past the pools to the beach. We visited the beach chair rental hut when we arrived and rented chairs/umbrellas for our stay, and that was money well spent. We really appreciated having the Sand Bar (small bar/grill right on the beach) at our disposal. We ate lunch there almost every day of our stay. No need to even put on shoes. :) The Back Porch is also a very short walk across a side street, and we really enjoyed our dinner there. We would stay here again in a heartbeat.

We had a wonderful time in Destin! The condo was perfect for two couples! It was clean and very comfortable! Everything was perfect the house it self just PERFECT the decorations looks just like this pictures I can’t say no more than that I wish I could have stayed longer I felt like I was home. Not to mention the view from my balcony was everything I was so in love with it all. We really enjoyed our stay at Silver Shells, and St Lucia 802 was amazing! Everything inside the condo was just as shown in the pictures and described in the listing. The condo was clean, updated, and very well decorated. We were in town for a baseball tournament so we ate in the condo a lot. The kitchen was very well stocked with everything we needed. The washer and dryer, which we used a lot, was new and worked very well. The balcony was bigger than expected and had a nice table, chairs, and a lounger. Both bedrooms had heavy, black out curtains so it was still dark in our both rooms no matter what time we woke up. Both bathrooms were updated and nice. The resort itself is very secure, and we loved having the garage parking. Our boys enjoyed the huge, resort pool and beach access was easy and convenient. We were in town during a very busy time, but Silver Shells never felt too crowded, and we didn’t have to wait for elevators as we have experienced in other condos. We would definitely recommend a stay at St Lucia 802!

Resort: Love the location and layout of the resort. Extremely secure and safe. Family friendly with lots of pools. Condo: View from condo isn’t great but when you spend most of your time at the pool/beach, a view is basically irrelevant. Tower pool is small but there’s a main resort one that suffices. The condo was so amazing. The kitchen had everything we needed to make amazing meals on Christmas eve and Christmas night. We also enjoyed a night out at Ruth Chris steakhouse and didn't even have to leave the property. It.was an amazing time and I would love to do our Christmas like this every year!!!!!

I stayed for the entire month of November and it was lovely! My daughter gave me this stay as a Mother's Day present and it was everything I could have hoped! My daughter and her family came and stayed in the additional room for one week of the stay (the week of Thanksgiving), but besides that, it was me and my husband (he only came for part of the time b/c he had to work). The location is perfect and the beach is beautiful!! I will definitely be back!!

This is a beautiful condo and is just about 50 more steps to the beach than the direct beachfront buildings on the property. We really loved it and will be repeat customers.

Overall, Everything was great! The jets in the tub in the master bath did not look cleaned and when they were turned on, they unfortunately shot out Black mold. The tub itself appeared clean though And likely is Just not used often. Minus that, everything was fantastic! Very clean otherwise. a good size patio with a clear view of the ocean. Close to a lot of fun activities too!

This was a great place to stay. Property was clean. The kids loved the pool, hot tub and the beach access. We grilled burgers one night and if you forget anything was wal-matt is just down the road. The view of the beach was better than what we thought we would have. We really enjoyed our stay.

This condo is adorable! Full of natural light with a beautiful view. Nice beach decor. The fridge made me jealous as did the master bath with jetted tub. Excellent outdoor patio. Overall it was perfect for our family of four. The beds were decently comfortable but nothing amazing. Both king size. Pull out couch. Short enough of a walk to the PRIVATE beach (for residents and guests of the property) which was definitely ideal for social distancing. The kitchen was fairly stocked, there was not anything that I wanted that wasn’t there with the EXCEPTION OF salt and pepper and sharp knives. There were knives but they were quite dull. Plenty of nice dishes. The luggage trolley is key for groceries and luggage but we had to ask for them as they are in the garage and not the lobby. Ideally this info would be in the welcome email. Only other complaint is there was NO hand sanitizer stations by elevators, etc. I carry my own so it was ok, but it would be nice if they had some appropriately located. All in all we had a great time and I would stay here again without a doubt. In fact, I didn’t want to leave.

Love the property and location . Condo well appointed and comfortable . Have only 2 recommendations: 1. CLeaning crew needs to do better job, I am sure owners are paying them for this 2. Rowdy packs of teens without parents all over propertY , clearly under influence & jumping Into pool at 1 am or laying on elevator floor . We had kids with us and listening my 12 yo son describe what I saw myself was not part of the family vacation I planned for. We have stayed at this property before and It was not problem in past . Hope that property HOA will implement stricter rules so families with kids are able to enjoy their vacation . Certainly would love to come back but not if it continues to be “ spring break party” destination for teens

We enjoyed our stay very much! The condo was very clean and nice! The resort itself is fabulous everyone is so nice and helpful! This was our first time staying at silver shells but definitely won’t be our last! We can’t wait to come back! My only complaint is the king bed in the master is not very comfy and the pillows aren’t much better. But we went to Walmart and bought pillows so that was an easy fix! ? if you have children this is the place for you so many accommodations on property and very easy accessible
