St. Lucia 1002

We had never been to Destin and wanted to experience the beach with our son. Didn't want a hotel and decided to explore options. The St Lucia 1002 popped up on our search and it was the perfect fit. Condo is beautiful and well equipped. The dual masters provided exactly what we needed. The kitchen is well equipped with dishes, cookware, and appliances. Balcony has a beautiful view with access from both bedrooms. A really nice table and chairs provides the perfect spot for morning coffee and sunset cocktails. Walking distance to great restaurants like The Back Porch - a local seafood restaurant right on the beach. The many security features provided a safe, secure environment - something that's very important to us. The RealJoy team helped make this a wonderful long weekend and were incredibly responsive to all our inquiries. Highly recommend this location and condo.

We had a wonderful stay! The location is perfect—just a short walk to the beach, which made everything super convenient. Despite being a larger building, it was surprisingly quiet and peaceful throughout our stay. One of our favorite spots was the tiki bar right on the beach—great atmosphere and beautiful views.
Our granddaughter especially loved the playground and the pool, which were both clean, safe, and ideal for families. The entire place felt very family-friendly, making it easy to relax and enjoy our time together.
We’d definitely stay here again and highly recommend it to anyone looking for a fun and relaxing beach getaway!

Listing is through an agency so it’s something between a home rental airbnb and an extended stay hotel. For example, great kitchen with good cookware available, but none of the small conveniences you would find at a lived in Airbnb which would facilitate the kitchen’s use (like oil, salt and pepper etc) nor even coffee/tea/sugar as a hotel would provide. They were very communicative and attentive, with an available number to call but the people on the other end (understandably) had no knowledge of the actual unit so were of limited help over the phone. Someone had to physically come to the unit to resolve an issue with the televisions; the good: someone was sent at 9:00pm and was very helpful, supplying the functioning remote that was missing. That service was great but it took more effort than would have been necessary in a more traditional airbnb (where I’ve never had this issue) or an actual hotel. Otherwise decent location, easy checkin, nice beach, excellent facilities.

I brought my goddaughter and visiting 5yr old granddaughter to Destin for a short vacay. This property was perfect for us. It was private with gated access so it felt safe and exclusive. The view was decent as we could see the main pool and parts of the beach. The pool and beach access was so convenient and just what we needed. The location was convenient to restaurants and stores. This is our first time staying in Destin and it couldn't have been better. The location of the condo was great. It was a gated community which we loved. The condo had exactly the view I expected and looked just like it was described. My only complaint was a lack of key fobs to get around the community. They only had 2 and we could have used 3 or 4. Small problem to have. Fantastic pools, hot tubs and access to the beach.

clean , spacious place! Perfect for those with smaller children who need to be able to run around vs a hotel room. Only down fall is from the pictures of be ordering condo, I was lead to believe that once. I walked out of our condo we would be onto the beach, that there was an indoor pool, and the outlet was right beside us. Other than that, great stay!

The property is located near a lot of stores, such as Walmart and Publix. Beautiful condo, beautiful view, convenient to the beach. I was under the impression that I could have a beach view balcony. It is not located exactly on the beach, a couple of feet from the beach. Balcony view is behind other condos.

Beautiful, very clean room. Larger than expected and fully stocked with essentials. Location is behind St Martaan so the view to see the gulf is at an angle between the buildings. We had just expected a more direct gulf view.

Amazing place! The only down side was in our stay that we drove 13 hrs (very tired) and came to a dirty unit that hasn't been cleaned. We had to wait for 1hr for them to clean the unit and give us new towels and bed sheets. And also they threw away our food we brought with us, that was in the fridge. Just because the cleaning people didn't understand English at all(they probably thought it was from previous people that stayed there), even tho I tried to explain to them as much i I can!?? But thats ok! We enjoyed every moment at this resort! Amazing place for a family vacation! Recommend ?
