Located only 500 yards to gated beach access in Frangista Beach, Southern Comfort is a 3BR, 2BA beautifully furnished home complete with a large front porch and a fenced-in backyard oasis with a hammock, grill, and a bar area! The open concept living area features hardwood flooring and a fully equipped kitchen with a dining area and kitchen island. There’s a king master suite with a private bathroom plus an antique vanity and mirror. Additionally, there is a guest room with a queen bed, a twin bunk room, and the living room has a sleeper sofa, sleeping up to 8 guests. As an added bonus, all bedrooms and the living room have wall-mounted flatscreen TVs! When you're not enjoying the easy beach access, read a book in the hammock, grill up your fresh catch, or chill in a rocking chair on the front porch. Frangista Beach is an upscale community in the heart of Miramar Beach on Scenic Gulf Drive. Featuring both beachfront homes and vacation homes just minutes from the sugar white sands. This coveted community is close to favorite local restaurants like Pompano Joe’s and Whale’s Tail Bar and Grill, and some of the best shopping in the area. Frangista Beach is practically next door to the Seascape Golf Resort, which offers tee times to members of the public and has superior tennis facilities. Frangista Beach is the perfect choice for your next beach vacation!

*2 Vehicles maximum parallel parked in driveway in front of the fence. To maintain a beautiful neighborhood for all to enjoy, the HOA requires the following from all residents and renters: NO RV’s, buses, trailers, jet skis, boats, motorcycles, scooters, all-terrain vehicles, or go-carts are permitted in this subdivision. Parking is permitted for passenger vehicles only, in the driveway or in the garage. No parking allowed on the grass or yard. Parking on the street is not allowed whatsoever in this neighborhood, regardless of the time of day. No overflow parking is available in this neighborhood. Vehicle owners will be responsible for towing fees and HOA fines associated with exceeding the maximum number of vehicles allotted or defiance of policies.

Frangista Beach is located less than 2 miles from the Silver Sands Outlet Centers and is convenient to both the action in Destin and Grand Boulevard Towne Center with incredible eateries, upscale shopping and a park with pop up fountains at its center.

Close by is Destin Commons, a beautifully landscaped, pedestrian-friendly area and a great family venue where children will love to play in the interactive water fountains. Also for the younger guests, a nautically/pirate themed outdoor playground features a 1,750 square foot soft play area with various creatures from the sea, slides, and a treasure chest! Destin Commons also has a mini-train for the kids. Destin Commons features over 75 shops and restaurants, including Godiva Chocolates, AMC Movie Theaters and Bass Pro Shop.

If you are near Miramar Beach, the snorkelers in your group will love the new artificial reef called Dolphin Reef, deployed in 2017. Located just 685 feet straight out from the Miramar Regional Public Beach access (by Pompano Joe's), it is becoming a haven for sea life. Each of the 4 snorkeling reefs comprises 40 acres of permitted sea bottom. The Dolphin Reef is at a depth of 12-20 feet. We strongly recommend that snorkelers use a kayak, paddleboard, or other flotation device when visiting the snorkel reefs. Sea conditions can and do change quickly and often. Enjoy!

We really enjoyed our stay in this house. I was a short walk to the beach. The neighbor was very friendly. We had a small issue with the grill running out of gas but I notified them and it was replaced the next day. Very accommodating people to rent from. We would definitely stay again.

We had a fantastic time at our Miramar Beach home away from home. The house was beautiful, it had everything we needed to be comfortable and the management company was wonderful to respond quickly to our questions, check on us and accommodate us in the best way possible. The house was in a beautiful area, walking distance to cafes, the beach and the stores. We have 4 kids and it was perfect for all of us. We would absolutely consider this property again when we plan our next trip.

We had such a wonderful time! Host was very responsive to a maintenance item on the first day. They even helped one of our group get back in the home after accidentally being locked out at night. The beach was only a couple of blocks away. The dock box on the porch is filled with chairs, floats, etc. We also had use of the bikes in the side yard. The tiki bar in the back yard was so fun and we also enjoyed the hammock. We chose this location because we had other spring breakers staying off of Miami Street. This location is fabulous!

As soon as I walked up the front walk of the house, I liked it. By the time we left, it grew on me even more, I just loved this place. Ground level which was great, no steep steps to climb. I loved the covered front porch, a great place for morning coffee and rocking chairs. The back hammock was great for reading in the afternoon. The beds were comfortable. The whole place was cozy and a great way to start my retirement by relaxing. If I'm ever in the area again, this is the first place I'd look to stay again. High recommend for a home away from home.

Easy in and out. Clean and well kept with beach toys and bikes ready for you. Make sure to bring seasonings. Home has everything you need as far as utensils, pans etc. you’ll need salt, pepper, coffee etc.

This place was just as listed. The beds may be a little hard but nonetheless, no one complained of any back pain and everyone slept really well. So that’s not a negative, but should be known. House was well kept, silverware, plates, cups and bath towels were provided along with a small batch of soap, sponge and dish washing liquid. We provided toiletries and what not but that’s no issue. Great location, nice walk to the private beach entrance, tucked away from busy traffic, so safe enough for kids to run around outside. AC runs great and water gets hot… major points for these two alone!!!

Great location! Beautiful comfortable home, beautifully decorated and very spacious. Well equipped with all we needed for eating in. There are a few beach chairs and umbrella in a storage space on the front porch, but we brought our own and didn’t have to use. 3 bikes on the porch, but we didn’t get to use. Short walk to the beach. Great communication. Loved the code access instead of key. Plenty of towels. Close to shopping and great dining. No issues at all. We will stay here again!

The house was perfect for our family of 5! Easy checkin/checkout. We loved not having to keep up with a key to get in the house. Very clean and lots of room inside. We loved having rocking chairs on the porch and a grill in the back! Close enough to walk to the beach and to grab your morning coffee at Badass Coffee House. Great restaurants and shopping within a couple of miles. We will definitely be back!

Great place to stay near the beach. Our family loved the home and there were stores, food places, coffee shop, and winery all within walking distance. Exactly as described, i would recommend you bring your own cooking supplies and utensils if you wish to cook.
