Ideally located just across from one of the community’s two pools, this two-story retreat is perfect for families or groups looking for a laid-back beach getaway in the heart of Destin. The sleeping arrangements include a king bed in the master bedroom, a queen bed in the first guest room, two twin beds in the second guest room, and a sleeper sofa in the living room. The open-concept living area is perfect for relaxing or gathering for a meal, and the fully equipped kitchen provides all you need for your stay. Enjoy added conveniences like a washer and dryer, designated parking right near the entrance, and a private patio for your morning coffee or evening wind-down. With its close proximity to the beach, shopping, dining, and entertainment, SouthBay by the Gulf #29 offers everything you need for a relaxing and memorable vacation.

SouthBay by the Gulf is a gated, low-density townhome community located on the beautiful emerald waters of the Gulf of Mexico. This complex is beach front and steps to two full sized pools with kiddie pools, shuffleboard courts, lighted tennis courts, beachside volleyball courts and the 5 acre fresh water lake. Every townhome features a designated parking spot right in front of your door making it easy to transfer your things in-no long walks through huge parking lots searching for your car. This great complex is just under 2.5 miles away from Harbor Walk Village. Here you can find waterfront shopping, paddle board and kayak rentals, pontoon and jet ski rentals, parasailing, glass bottom boats, world class fishing, pirate ship excursions, dolphin cruises, concerts and live music, weekly fireworks, live entertainment, and an array of restaurants, including Jimmy Buffet’s Margaritaville and Harry T’s, to satisfy all tastes. You will be sure to find something for the whole family to enjoy.

Close by is Destin Commons, a beautifully landscaped, pedestrian-friendly area and a great family venue where children will love to play in the interactive water fountains. Also for the younger guests, a nautically/pirate themed outdoor playground features a 1,750 square foot soft play area with various creatures from the sea, slides, and a treasure chest! Destin Commons also has a mini-train for the kids. Destin Commons features over 75 shops and restaurants, including Godiva Chocolates, AMC Movie Theaters and Bass Pro Shop.

This is across the street from Big Kahuna's Waterpark, full of great splashing fun for the kids. And it is walking distance to Mellow Mushroom and the Pancakery!

The property was clean and a short walking distance to the beach and many great restaurants and stores. The check in process was easy. We had one issue, but it was addressed in an appropriate, timely manner. We got multiple follow up calls and visits to the property to ensure that the problem was fixed and we were comfortable. I highly recommend this place and I hope it is available for our next trip to Destin.

Excellent Stay!

We had a great stay! House was clean. The smoke detector started beeping out second night, we called maintenance the following morning and they were there in a heart beat. It is a little walk to the beach, but nice walk. Our kids got to fish ! The pool by our condo was nice. Very cozy! Have no complaints.

Beautiful home

The condo was great - decorated beautifully, very beachy! The complex has 2 different pool areas and it's a very short walk to the beach. Loved feeding the turtles off the walking bridge, too.

Destin

I had such a good experience at this condo. It was very clean. It was about a 7-8 minute walk through the condos and across a boardwalk to the beach but was very tolerable. It comes with 2 chairs and umbrella and a more private beach area which was fabulous. Saw dolphins each morning from the beach and had such a great time!
