The sleeping arrangements include a king bed in the master bedroom, a queen bed in the first guest room, two twin beds in the second guest room, and a sleeper sofa in the living room. The open-concept living area is perfect for relaxing or gathering for a meal, and the fully equipped kitchen provides all you need for your stay. Enjoy added conveniences like a washer and dryer, designated parking right near the entrance, and a private patio for your morning coffee or evening wind-down. SouthBay by the Gulf is a gated, low-density townhome community located on the beautiful emerald waters of the Gulf of Mexico. This complex is beach front and steps to two full sized pools with kiddie pools, shuffleboard courts, lighted tennis courts, beachside volleyball courts and the 5 acre fresh water lake. Every townhome features a designated parking spot right in front of your door making it easy to transfer your things in-no long walks through huge parking lots searching for your car. This great complex is just under 2.5 miles away from Harbor Walk Village. Here you can find waterfront shopping, paddle board and kayak rentals, pontoon and jet ski rentals, parasailing, glass bottom boats, world class fishing, pirate ship excursions, dolphin cruises, concerts and live music, weekly fireworks, live entertainment, and an array of restaurants, including Jimmy Buffet’s Margaritaville and Harry T’s, to satisfy all tastes. You will be sure to find something for the whole family to enjoy.

Close by is Destin Commons, a beautifully landscaped, pedestrian-friendly area and a great family venue where children will love to play in the interactive water fountains. Also for the younger guests, a nautically/pirate themed outdoor playground features a 1,750 square foot soft play area with various creatures from the sea, slides, and a treasure chest! Destin Commons also has a mini-train for the kids. Destin Commons features over 75 shops and restaurants, including Godiva Chocolates, AMC Movie Theaters and Bass Pro Shop.

This is across the street from Big Kahuna's Waterpark, full of great splashing fun for the kids. And it is walking distance to Mellow Mushroom and the Pancakery!

The property was clean and a short walking distance to the beach and many great restaurants and stores. The check in process was easy. We had one issue, but it was addressed in an appropriate, timely manner. We got multiple follow up calls and visits to the property to ensure that the problem was fixed and we were comfortable. I highly recommend this place and I hope it is available for our next trip to Destin.

Excellent Stay!

We had a great stay! House was clean. The smoke detector started beeping out second night, we called maintenance the following morning and they were there in a heart beat. It is a little walk to the beach, but nice walk. Our kids got to fish ! The pool by our condo was nice. Very cozy! Have no complaints.

Very nice

Location was great, the condo was clean and nice. We did have some small worms in the condo we’re assuming the rain was drawing them in. Other than that it was a great place to stay!

Beautiful home

The condo was great - decorated beautifully, very beachy! The complex has 2 different pool areas and it's a very short walk to the beach. Loved feeding the turtles off the walking bridge, too.

Wonderful stay

Destin

I had such a good experience at this condo. It was very clean. It was about a 7-8 minute walk through the condos and across a boardwalk to the beach but was very tolerable. It comes with 2 chairs and umbrella and a more private beach area which was fabulous. Saw dolphins each morning from the beach and had such a great time!

Relaxing and quiet townhouse in excellent location

South Bay by the Gulf was very comfortable, clean, and in a great location. Directions were not to the specific unit and it took a while to figure out how to get to the unit. It was an 8 minute easy walk to the beach. Loved having beach service. There is one thing that needs to be addressed from a safety perspective in the bedroom with twin bunk beds. There is a ceiling fan that is in a horrible place. My son got in the top bunk and when the ceiling fan was turned on, he couldn't raise up or he would be hit by the fan. Probably should remove the fan. Otherwise all the accommodations were great and the beds were so comfortable. We really enjoyed our stay.

Destin condo

My family enjoyed our stay in Destin! The condo was amazing. Everything was awesome! The only complaint I have is that mattress in the queen size room is awful. There is a lump in it that is super uncomfortable. Everything else was perfect! Close to pool and ocean! The beach is breathtaking!

Great time!

We had a wonderful time at South Bay 29. The house was clean and had everything we needed. Our only issue was the walk to the beach. Which was not a 3 minute walk. It was more like a 10 minute walk so if you have kids like us we had to drive to the beach. We had a great experience and would recommend this place.

Amazing!

The rental was great. Everything was super clean the beach was just a minute from the beach and pool was just outside our townhouse. Parking was excellent as well I parked right in front of our townhouse. The townhouse had everything the only thing you needed was to buy your own food. But there was pots pans plates and everything else. The beach has chair and umbrella rentals for cheap. Definitely will be back next year!

Nice place to stay for a get away.

For my first time renting a vacation home, it was very pleasant. The only down fall on this property was a lack of a shower on the 1st floor for people who can't go up to the 2nd floor to easily, other then that it was great.

Nice property and great location

We had a great vacation! Our vacation rental was perfect for us. We were right by the pool and just a short walk to the beach! The location was within walking distance to a grocery store, souvenir shops, ice cream, and a few restaurants. I would highly recommend this location!

June 2017 Stay at South Bay by the Gulf 29

Great Condo! Very Clean and well decorated. Walk out the front door and you are at the pool. Little further to the beach, but we used a beach cart and it was all doable. This condo is centrally located in Destin and we found everything we needed close by!
