Been staying with RealJoy properties everytime I visit the Destin area, always been great, smooth and trouble free stays. This time was a bit different, when we got to the place there was a couple minor issues with the property but the main issue was the freezer drawer was not sliding out. I called the help line and let me tell you, the proactiveness to fix the problem was one of the best I’ve ever experienced in a customer service setting in a very long time. The gentleman named DREW, came in like a damn super hero and addressed all the issues on the spot, providing creative solutions on the fly. 30 mins later I have a running “loaner” freezer in the garage so we can atleast store frozen goods during our week long stay. I never write lengthy reviews like so, but I felt like giving flowers to those who truly care to make things right warranted more than just clicking 5 stars. So to everyone who helped, Drew, Devin and the rest of the realjoy team. THANK YOU. A+ team🤙🏽

We had a great time, we had a couple of small problems, but they were taking care of immediately. I will definitely come back again. We had 7 people in our family and we all loved the house, we had plenty of room , the backyard was really spacious and had plenty of seating. The pool was just a short walk away and the beach was a 10 minute drive away. Thank you for a wonderful vacation.

This was a beautiful restful place for our family. We enjoyed time at the house, as well as time finding things to do in the area. The neighborhood is so close to anything you could possibly, need. Loved everything, the kitchen was a little sparse on utensils but I'm sure over time will become more stocked. (I wish this didn't have the sad emoji because it really isn't that serious.) lol

The only problem I had was with the outdoor table, it had no umbrella and could not utilize because of the sun and heat. I did call and ask about the umbrella, and was told the table had enough shade from it's surroundings.

It was a beautiful home and very peaceful. The only “negative” was that I feel the cleaning people didn’t mop or sweep the floor. I have a baby so he would find things to put in his mouth. Other then that I would definitely book again

The pictures are nice, but It looks WAY better in person. The neighborhood is quiet and it’s close to our favorite restaurant next to the beach. It’s not EXACTLY a walk to the beach, but it’s less than a 5 min drive l. The house was really clean, the rooms are more roomy than the pictures give it credit for. The price was perfect, as well. I know it’s not much, but I REALLY appreciated how they have the welcome music going on when you first check in. Really makes you feel welcomed. I would definitely stay here again.

This was a nice house for our group. Close to the private entrance beach and a short drive away from walmart/wholefoods market. There are no beach chairs/umbrellas provided but there is a rental service at the beach. Community pool is very small. Don’t count on it.

Location, roominess, furnishings updated. The construction workers took both trashcan filled to the top with tree branches, trash . Sleep sofa for 1 person.Fridge tray dirty. 1 spare toilet paper roll for 10 guests. And more large trash bag needed. Back door lock hard to lock.

Stayed here on a family vacation over the weekend. In a newer neighborhood, newer house. Very clean & had everything we needed. I would suggest adding cleaning supplies like a house broom, mop. Other than they had everything we needed. The walk is a pretty nice walk from the beach so we did not end up walking being that we had a baby and toddlers, had to find a taxi cart.

The listing: This place was as described. It fit 8 of us comfortably.
The location: Great location, tucked away. Very quiet. Currently it's right next to a house that is going through construction... but they never constructed so all good for us 😉.
Check in/out & Service: Check-in was simple. We were not used to having to go to a different site outside of Airbnb but all the info was available on one page. Check out was not stressful, very little rules ie. take trash out, start dishwasher, turn temp up. We did end up needing extra blankets that didn't get delivered until the next day.
Negatives: Personally, the beds were not that comfortable. None of the adults slept well the whole time. One of us just resorted to the couch. Weird gnat bug thingies around the house. Possible improvements: Brooms with dustpans. We are right near a beach so having a couple sets of brooms and dustpans would be helpful. The fridge wouldn't close all the way if you weren't careful.
All in all great trip!

This a such a beautiful rental house! It was perfect for our party of 12. Several shops, restaurants and attractions close by. I don’t think the beach is a 10 minute walk, however we didn’t have a problem driving (3-5 minute drive including parking) to the beach and it was very easy to find parking!! Such a beautiful & peaceful place to stay!
