First time to Destin. This place was perfect for our family of 5. Spacious for everyone. Right on the beach.
Hot tub and pool are small but not a huge issue except when trying to sit in it in the evening. Always crowded, however you have the beach just feet away!

Everything was great. Good communication. When I called and asked about the tvs/remotes a tech came right over and got it working. I asked about not being able to stream and a couple hours later the same tech hooked up Roku!. The only thing I missed having was an ice maker. Everything else was perfect.

Beautiful location. Have stayed in the building before. Love this place. And as we left they were coming in to replace the carpet so that will be a nice improvement. When we arrived there wasn't any streaming devices for TV but the host brought in a Roku! Thank you. The only other thing that would be nice would be to have an ice maker or ice trays.

We enjoyed our stay. The unit was very clean and everything was as advertised. It is sparsely supplied which was mentioned in other reviews. One dish towel, no pot holders, no blankets, minimal kitchen supplies. Beds have only a sheet and a very thin coverlet so I suggest bringing your own blanket for pull out sofa, etc.

This unit was as described and the view was amazing. Everything was in working order and we had more than enough towels for 6 people for our length of stay. Typically rental units similar to this at least have salt/pepper available but this unit did not so make sure you bring or buy those items if you need/want them. Will be keeping this unit in my saved list for future consideration.

Overall a great stay! Great location and close to many attractions. Only noticeable issue was a musty/damp smell in the master bath. In the back room with the bunk beds the carpet felt a little wet but that could also just be due to the lack of circulation towards the front of the unit. Fabulous Stay! Our group of six people had 3 moms and 3 teenage sons and we'd all been looking forward to this trip for weeks! Among our group was another AirBnB Superhost, Brooke Yancey. The layout of the unit and space was perfect for a group our size. We loved that there were also 3 separate bathrooms, allowing plenty of space for all. We were very pleased with the cleanliness of the unit and gorgeous balcony beach views. Everything was exactly as described in the listing and a great value for the location, space, and amenities of the unit. As mentioned, this was a much-anticipated trip with us expecting to arrive Friday afternoon and have time to enjoy the beach and unit, but we ended up getting a flat tire near the end of business hours still 2 hours away from the unit. Once the tire was fixed and we arrived, it was after 10pm.Chris at RealJoy was wonderful in working with Brooke to arrange a 2 hour late check out time to make up for the lost evening time.We can't wait to return!

For starters this condo is in a great central beach location. You won’t be sad if you book here. Personally, the cons listed are more than likely less an issue of ownership and more of management. Overall we would definitely stay here again.
Pros: The location is AMAZING. The unit is an end unit providing a little larger patio. The beds are very comfortable. We loved the keyless entry. The decor is nice. The unit is comfortable. The management company was very responsive when we encountered a leaking toilet.
The cons are more of “things you should be aware of”
Cons: The furnishings could stand to be freshened up a bit. The carpet looked as though it needed cleaned as did the couch. The kitchen is functional for cooking for 4 but I would find it hard to cook for more. Bring dish towels as only 1 towel/2 dishcloths are provided. The master bedroom patio door didn’t open - particularly disappointing when one is recovering from a health incident and had hoped to listen to the waves from bed. We were not notified of this until the day of our arrival so perhaps this was a new issue. This unit doesn’t include beach/resort service and the listing didn’t indicate as such - most included this service so it would be nice if the listing specified that wasn’t included- simply to avoid the embarrassment of not knowing AND to prepare accordingly by bringing our own umbrella and chairs.

Our stay was great. The location is awesome and the condo offered great space for our family and incredible views of the gulf. There was an issue with the cable TV and Wi-Fi, however a temporary hot spot was provided and the issue/resolution was communicated to us prior to checking in. The communication from the property managers was excellent throughout our stay. The condo is very clean and nicely updated. If we had one suggestion, it would be for beach service to be included with use of the condo. While it is available for an additional cost, it would be excellent if that was part of the rental rate. We love going to Destin but it’s always so crowded and so expensive so we decided to try Ft. Walton Beach/Okalossa Island. I’m so glad that we did. First thing that I loved was that it was right on the beach and had this huge wrap around balcony. Made my morning coffee view so beautiful. I love that it felt so roomy and cozy in the Condo. There was plenty of room and if we would have had more people decide to come along, there would have been plenty of room. The walk from the condo to the beach was not a chore like a lot of places. The beach is literally RIGHT THERE. A huge plus is that this place is not a huge condominium with a ton of condos, so the beach wasn’t overcrowded and you could go to the pool and not be on top of other people. Maybe the time of year had something to do with that too but we really enjoyed it. There was just enough of everything that we didn’t have to go buy extra stuff to wash dishes or get trash bags. But if you’re there for more than a few days then some extra trash bags would be handy. Having a washer and dryer in the unit was a huge plus as well. Honestly, I don’t have any complaints about it. Our family really enjoyed the stay and we plan to keep this as our place to stay when we want a beach get away. Highly recommend.

The view, it was clean, comfortable and kitchen was well stocked I didn't like that the maid service showed up at 9:20. Our check out time was 10am and we left at 9:45am. The were knocking on the door at 920. Felt like they were rushing us.

We were looking for a corner condo with a sunset view and this one was perfect. Going in October missed the crowds and some activities were already closed for the season but we enjoyed the quieter pace while being close to everything. The view of the white beach and green water was great. The condo was very clean and comfortable but sparsely furnished in the bathroom and especially the basics in the kitchen so you have to bring or buy what you need. Parking was very convenient under the building. The booking company was very communicative through the entire process. We’d be happy to work with them again.

We recently returned back home from a wonderful vacation in Fort Walton. This condo is in a prime location and the views cannot be beat. The condo is beautiful with lovely decor. As seasoned guests our only recommendation would be to read closely with what the condo comes equipped with and pack accordingly. We will definitely be returning.

This is the second year in a row we stayed in this condo complex but this specific condo was new to us. We had three condos rented on the third floor and all worked out great. This specific condo was the best of the three - clean, extremely light and open feel, appeared to be larger than the other two units and had an excellent view of the ocean (also an easy walk to the beach). Don't be concerned with the size of the pool - it is rarely busy and worked for our large group (including tons of kids). Also, this unit now has a Keurig machine!!! The one thing to consider is there is only one elevator in the complex and the week we were there, it was completely out of service. We only had to take the stairs to the 3rd floor and it worked out fine for us - we still had a lovely time. If you have someone in your party who is completely unable to take the stairs and/or is unable to walk up a ton of stairs, you may want to take that into consideration before renting at this complex. I hate mentioning this because the condo and our vacation were fabulous but we did have two in our group in their 70s, one with a significant visual impairment, and only having the stair option would have been a disaster if we were staying higher than the 3rd floor.

This condo was perfect for our 7 people group and it was right on the beach. It was very clean and all the appliances were in working order. There were enough towels for everyone. We loved every minute of our stay!! The customer service is in matched. We had an issue with notes from the condo next door saying our cars would be towed, but after calling RealJoy they decided it was probably spring breakers pulling a prank. Nevertheless, they came to the condo at 10PM to drop off additional parking notices to make sure our cars were not towed. They customer service was great!! Also, they’re not kidding about the 10AM check out! We finished cleaning and packing the condo around 9:50 and walked out of the room at 9:55 and the cleaning person was outside waiting to get started!! We would definitely stay here again!!

We were really pleased with the rental in every way. The space, views, decor...everything was just fantastic. Loved the easy access to the beach, and condo was well equipped. We really liked the bright and spacious feel in the place, and the balcony was amazing. The corner opened up to the afternoon sun and just gave great views from almost everywhere. Was a perfect price and value for our family stay and would do again for sure.

The condo was very nice! Condo was very well stocked for cooking in. It is centrally located to restaurants, shopping, entertainment, etc. Really enjoyed the great location of the beach and pool. We sat on the balcony and were able to see the kids in the pool as well as the beach! We only had a short walk to carry our beach chairs and "supplies!" The water was beautiful and beach very clean. We had a great view of the fireworks, from the fishing pier, off the balcony. If you are planning a trip to Ft.Walton or Destin area, this is a great condo to stay in.

We enjoyed our weekend at the beach so much! The condo was perfect! Perfectly located right next to the beach. The condo itself was awesome. The layout worked perfectly for my husband and I and our two adult children. My only regret - we should have stayed for a week!

This condominium is exactly as pictured. It is absolutely beautiful and surprisingly quiet for being on floor 3 of 5. We had scheduled service a couple of the days while staying there. The workman were escorted with management and that made us feel completely safe from theft and etc. The only issue I had at all was the lack of supplies I would consider necessary to start a first day with. For example coffee filters. After a long day of travel it would have been nice to find some coffee filters and not have to run to the store for some. By the way the coffee pot does not turn itself off it stays in warming mode all day if you forget to manually turn it off. The beach is exceptional. You are a 10 minute drive to the Destin area with all the hustle and bustle but it feels a world away which was so lovely. I hid the coffee filters in the drawer by the sink in the back hopefully someone will use them. :)

WOW! The moment we walked into this condo my breath was taken away. The view was Absolutely BEAUTIFUL! Everything was soo clean, updated..plenty of towels and washcloths. The kitchen was definitely stocked with everything we needed. I had brought coffee cups just incase and it had plenty of high quality dishes! It really has everything you need to cook in! The rooms were decorated beautifully, the master bedroom was heavenly, again the view was truly breath taking. The deck was amazing to wake up to, we slept with the door open to hear the sounds of the ocean. I have never seen such a BEAUTIFUL clean beach..Ever! We were there last week of March for spring break. Weather definitely warm enough..pool is heated..probably didnt need to be ..definitely bath water! We will DEFINITELY be back again! For Sure! Great for kids! PLENTY of space for 9 people for sure! Soooo close to the ocean with the easiest walk! Did have a few beach chairs in the closet and we left a boogie board also! You can rent beach chairs for $30 a day of needed, but we brought ours. Everything is so close if needed. Had an emergency dental and an er while on our stay and literally minutes away! Seriously Okaloosa Island is the most BEAUTIFUL place! Cons: And this is being completely picky...We do wish check in could've been earlier, we arrived pretty early after an all night journey and it would've been nice just to be able to check in if condo was available and clean. Pool was definitely crowded with smaller kids all day throwing balls and having fun, but slightly annoying for a mom! Thankfully the beach was 100 steps away. Absolutely NO complaints about the condo..again wayyy more than we ever expected! Thank you all sooooo MUCH for a BEAUTIFUL stay!

Sea Dunes was a wonderful and restful place to spend our family vacation with kids and grandkids. Our goal was to find a place on the beach where we could relax and enjoy our family - this was the perfect place! The condo looked just like the pictures - everything was clean and bright - beach themed. We loved the fact that we directly overlooked the beach/ocean and had a beautiful view. Beach was great and not overly crowded so our little ones could play, run, and build sandcastles with their papa. The condo had everything we needed for the kitchen and laundry. We loved it and hope to stay again next year! We highly recommend it to anyone looking for family friendly, beautiful accommodations!

Beautiful view, very nice Condo. Very clean, plenty of towels, hand soap, etc. Location is perfect, not a lot of traffic like Destin. I especially like the limited amount of units in building. We didn't feel crowded on the beach and had the pool totally to ourselves several times. No waiting forever for an elevator. Only two small things that need adjusting. We cook a lot, and found the kitchen not stocked as well as other places we have stayed. The largest pot was a 3 quart, both the electric and manual can opener were broken and a limited amount of stainless. The Realtor was supposed to text me the door code for check in at 3 pm. We arrived at 2:50 and at 3 I still did not have a text. Tried to get to App, but had very limited internet service. Called several times and got answering machine. It was very frustrating and we didn't get the code till 3:30. I understand that they can't send it to far ahead of time, but surely a half of hour would work better. We will definitely stay again.

Just beautiful! The view of the ocean from the balcony, the master bedroom and kitchen and living room was amazing. We had not been to the beach in several years and we must say this was an excellent choice. The condo was exceptionally clean and looked exactly like the pictures provided. We would definitely stay again. A note for anyone renting this unit it does not come with beach chairs ( that was the only draw back ) so make sure to bring your own and an umbrella and enjoy this beautiful unit and location.
