Sand Dollar Townhome #16- Sukoon Villa

I had a wonderful girl's trip with my daughters and did not want to leave. The property had everything we needed and wanted. The space was great, and everyone had an ocean view. The access to the beach was amazing. We took a lot of late-night walks on the beach and sent most of our time enjoying the view. The beds were comfortable and the privacy in the master bedroom was great. I'm going to plan another trip son with the entire family, and I guess we'll let the guys come this time. There was nothing I could say we didn't like, because the property is amazing. The parking was good and the access and view to beach was the highlight.

The beach view was awesome. The property opens up directly on the beach. Coffee every morning on the balcony which has 3. We had 7 people staying at the property and was perfect. The kitchen had every thing you needed to prepare meals and with 3 full bathrooms and a half bath was great also. . The only downfall about the property was the parking. It states mid size vehicles, however as we all know people don't listen. The parking spaces were taken up by oversized SUVs and pickups. So just beware. It is not the owners/property managers fault they tell the people renting the property. Over all would definitely recommend this property.

The highlights:
The townhouse is larger than it looks in pictures. nice renovation
Beach is beautiful. white sand, clear blue water with your own designated umbrella and chairs,
directly on the beach, walkable to food, ice cream and some shopping
there were more than enough bath towels, nice linens, great dishes
on arrival the house was clean, smelled amazing and there was wonderful music playing in the background
The issues:
like other reviews have mentioned, there is not enough silverware, buy plastics forks for two bucks, not a big deal
The kitchen had one towel and one rag, stopped at Goodwill and fixed the problem for $2.99
yes, we had an issue with the dryer, but I called the management company and within 4 hours it was fixed , they were very responsive
Yes, the parking is tight, that's a 1980s design flaw
if you are easily irritated, some of these things may be a problem for you, but if you are going to the beach for a great view and a great time, I recommend

The location was great. The house great. There were some things broken like the king size bed on the 3rd floor. You could tell someone had had tried to fix it and it was fine but you could tell. There was a very soft spot on the lower deck that needs to be fixed. Also the rugs in the house need to be replaced or cleaned . I contacted Realjoy and they said that they would get this taken care of. All in all my family had a great experience and will return.

This townhome is right on the beach - walk a few steps to the sand amd a few more to the water. Great views, beautiful clear water, and wonderful decks to enjoy it.

Our stay was probably the best we’ve had so far in the years we have been coming to the beach at the Gulf.
I knew it was going to be a wonderful vacation when first thing when we walked in we were hit with the soft soothing sounds of music flowing throughout the whole townhome. The whole place was so clean and comfortable. The beach was literally steps away and with such great views from all the balconies I didn’t even have to leave the townhouse to get the beach experience. Although we did take advantage of the available chairs and umbrella and extra chairs that were provided. We had food delivered in several times and barley left the comfort of our rental. However, we did make a day of shopping on one of our days here. It was the most relaxing vacation we’ve ever been on. We will be back!

Couldn’t ask for a better location! We loved being able to walk directly out onto beach and since it’s private during main hours it’s not overpopulated.
You are very close to neighbors but luckily ours were awesome!
Chair service provided made beach day really easy, the house also had some extra beach chairs and toys.
My only advice is to make sure you bring or buy extra toilet paper, paper towels and trash bags as they only provided one of each…with an exception of trash bags
There were 2 extra.
And bring or buy beach towels, none included.
Those are not complaints just letting future guests know
Easy check in and didn’t have a laundry list of things to do prior to checkout
100% Would stay again!
We extended our trip by 3 days bc we didn’t want to leave

The floor plan worked well for our family of 7. (Grandparents, daughter and son in law and 3 children) Having the bedrooms on the first and 3rd floors provided privacy. The 2nd floor family area and kitchen with balcony and stairway to the beach allowed family members to access the beach without disturbing anyone in the bedrooms. Shops and several nice seafood restaurants and an ice cream shop (across the street ) were within 1 mile walking distance . A golf cart rental store was directly across the street .
The property was clean and well maintained with a fully supplied kitchen. The family area had a large flat screen TV and comfortable sectional sofa. We enjoyed our stay and would definitely stay here again.

5 stars & would happily stay again!
Only pointing out a few suggestions/notes for other renters. Washer & dryer needs to be replaced. Washer makes awful noises & doesn't always start, you have to keep an eye on it. Dryer takes at least 2+ hours to dry an average large load. Home does not provide any laundry goods so you will need to provide your own.
Be aware, the home has zero pantry items. Salt, Pepper, sugar, coffee..etc. Nothing. I also recommend buying plastic cups & paper plates so you aren't bringing glassware onto the patio or beach. Everything provided was glass. The home does not provide enough paper towels, toilet paper or trash bags for more than 3 days. Plan on bringing extras or purchase. The home provides bar hand soap, would have preferred liquid but that's just my preference. The home does not provide any shower/bath items. Bring your own or purchase. There are no baby gates of any kind provided. There are 2 sets of stairs inside and 3 outside.

Clean and directly on the beach. Only complain was with the hot water at the kitchen sink and master bedroom sinks. The cloths washer was very loud when water was going in. The dryer didn’t dry very well, had to go though 2 cycles to get things dry. The ice maker on the fridge didn’t automatically work on the door but was making ice. Overall it’s a nice place and location .

This is a wonderful home right on the beautiful Destin beach! I wanted to have a get away with my family of 7 and the house was great! Parking was a bit tight for my truck though - as there are only 2 designated parking spaces. However, once inside you get lost with the beach being right in your backyard. I walked to Papano's Joe everyday for happy hour drinks and appetizers from 3 to 5pm. Beach chairs and umbrella was provided. We also walked across the street for ice cream and souvenirs. This is a great home to rent!

Loved staying here. I've visited the Miramar/ Destin area many times and stayed in many different places. This by far is my absolute favorite. You walk out your back door and are on the beach. Beautiful house with amazing beachfront views! Was perfect for a little weekend getaway. The location was prime! We walked to Pompano Joes for lunch two days in a row! Triple balconies right on the beach. We would definitely return!

Very nice place! Host was responsive with a few questions we had leading up to our trip.
The house is in a perfect location for the beach, beach bar, and surrounding area.
I would 100% stay here again!
FYI parking is EXTREMELY tight and only for 2 vehicles like it says, don’t try to have more cars. I drive a Ram 2500 which is a big truck but typically it fits in a parking space. The spaces at the house are smaller than normal and my truck was over the lines on both sides so just be aware. I talked with the neighbor and he was totally fine with it since he understands how bad parking is.

Amazing location! All three levels have sliding glass doors with a deck that overlooks the beach. White sands, blue water, and amazing sunsets. Super clean house! An added extra touch was the whole beach had a team of people who set up chairs and umbrellas every morning and picked them up every evening. 10/10 would stay here again!

We had a blast at this wonderful beachfront condo. Miramar Beach is close to restaurants, groceries, outlet shops, movies, and activities. The condo is on Scenic 98 - which is a busy road. However, the bedrooms are beachside so road noise is not an issue. The property is very well-equipped and quite comfortable. There is quite a bit of renovation going on at this particular group of homes and occasionally parking was taken by workers. I also found some nails/screws in the parking area and that was a bit worrisome. However, the pros far outweighed the cons and we would visit again at the next opportunity!

Has a great time! Beach was right out the back door, no long walk. Communication was very quick for any questions we had. Parking spots were very narrow though so we parked in line instead of side by side so it would be difficult if you have larger vehicles. Overall we are very happy and would love to stay again.

I would definitely rent this townhouse again and I would rent from RealJoy again. I had to call maintenance twice (beeping smoke alarm battery and slow drain on master shower) and both handled super quickly by the nice maintenance man Roy. Location of unit is perfect! Across from ice cream shop, Alvin Island stores and even a Dairy Queen! I would suggest a few items for the rental: hand broom/dust pan, curtain for bunk room, pizza cutter/pizza baking sheet, chip clips/clothespins and multi-port USB chargers by beds.

It was absolutely gorgeous and so perfect. It was a fun time and loved where we stayed. It was so close to the beach and not crowded at all. Wish we had more clarification for garbage pick up. I didn’t know we were to place garbage can beside to road for pick up. Other than that I will give it a 10 plus. Hated leaving garbage for the next people. Thank You for allowing us to stay

I’ve been renting homes for family and couples vacations for years and this is by far one of the very best that I’ve ever stayed at. It’s absolutely beautiful, immaculate and an ideal location. Walking distance to restaurants, ice cream shop and beach rental services. We had a fantastic time. I’d suggest only renting if you plan on taking good care of it. It’s so very lovely and can tell a lot of time and effort was put in selecting all of the finishing and furniture. The home is well appointed and has everything you need to a fantastic vacation.
