This was a great home! Very clean and exactly as described. Highly recommended!
Only minor complaint was that we were unable to get early check in approved as we never heard back. Luckily it worked out because out lot flight was delayed.

This was perfect for a large family gathering. The bunk room and play room were a hit with all my grandkids. Since we had multiple families gathering, the gourmet kitchen and dining area made feeding a large group easy. We chose to heat the pool and it was well worth the added expense. There were lots of beach toys and even a wagon to help carry them to the beach. The private beach entrance is just a short walk and was ideal for the baptisms we held. Everyone agreed, we'll be back!

The house was in a very nice neighborhood, very secure. Lots of mature trees providing shade was a plus. Easy to get to the beach either driving or walking.
Lots of pool and beach toys for the kids to play with. The pool was a big hit. Had a nice shallow area that even the toddlers could use.
The kitchen was well equipped.

We had an unforgettable family vacation at Salty Shores. This home was exactly as stated and more. It was clean and beautiful. Comfortable sectional couch plenty of space. A great little play area for little ones. The bunk room actually has 2 full bunk beds with trundles under each one. A pack and play, potty seat and booster seat for the dining room. The pool was so fun with the fountains and beautiful landscaping. There is a sweet little coffee shop we rode bikes to called Badass Coffee. Best strawberry smoothie I’ve ever had. It was a short walk to the private beach but we like to use a canopy which was prohibited so we walked a little further to the public beach which wasn’t a problem just keep that in mind before lugging all your beach day fun items to the private beach. This place was a gem and I didn’t want to leave!!

Loved every minute of our stay with all of our kids, their spouses and grandkids. We love that each bedroom, except the bunk room, has their own bathroom. So great for multiple families! The access to the beach is amazing and the private pool made cooling down and entertaining grandkids so much fun. We have been to this property for two years in a row and have loved it both times.

Location was fantastic being only a block from the beach. Property was very nice in most ways and is reflected well in listing. Only thing of note was the bikes could have used some maintenance and had to request beach access code (was given prior month) but received a response quickly.

This home is absolutely beautiful and so spacious, comfortably slept our party of 17. We had a great time, the pool was perfect being that it was cooler so we couldn’t enjoy the beach too much. There isn’t a gate around the pool, so if you have littles I would recommend a baby gate for the door. The beach is only a 12 min walk or bike ride from the house and I love that they had bikes abailable for those of us who wanted to ride. Jolene and her team were responsive and proactive, which made the trip so much easier to manage. The beds were soooo comfy. Def would recommend booking this location and will book again when we come back to Destin!

The house is laid out well and accommodated our crew perfectly. The pool was amazing, the under stairway retreat was a perfect hideaway for kids and the house was in a great location with nice and new amenities. It was just a short walk to the beach or a quick drive to any Destin Destination. Having the bathrooms in each bedroom offered privacy. The kitchen had all the tools needed for keeping folks fed on the go or a place to sit and hang out. The island in the kitchen was a little big for the space, so it limited having too many cooks in the kitchen. Overall a wonderful place to relax or minutes away from any fun in the sun activity!

I don't think that we can say enough about this property! The neighborhood was amazing. It was a quiet neighborhood that was only a 5 minute walk to the beach. There were restaurants within walking distance that were amazing. We rented a golf cart and it made the trip even more fun. Our grandkids loved every minute. The pool was a gathering place and had plenty of chairs for everyone. Each bedroom (except for the bunk room) had its own bathroom. It made each of our kids, their spouse and our grandkids so comfortable. The family room was comfortable with a darling playroom off of it. Our trip was a 10 out of 10!

We loved staying here for a girls weekend! So much space for everyone, comfortable beds and many bathrooms. Not to mention a great kitchen for cooking and plenty of seating (bonus — the fridge had excellent storage!)
We loved going to Crab Island, eating by the boardwalk, and walking down to the beach and grabbing snacks at Pompano Joes. The pool was so fun to hang out by as well.
This neighborhood was private and homey and we felt totally safe as a big group of girls. Also, we had food delivery a few times, and Ubers were able to get into the community easily.
We had many questions before the trip as well, and Jilenna and team were extremely responsive. Overall an incredible experience and we can’t wait to be back!

The house was very spacious and perfect for three couples and our kids to share for a week. The bedrooms were all large enough to be comfortable even with king beds in four of the bedrooms. The kids loved sharing the two double bunk beds in the 5th bedroom. The house was so clean when we arrived. The in-ground pool was nice on the days we did not go to the beach due to the extreme heat. The steps going down to the beach were safe but there were several so it was a bit rough for one of our group who had a medical issue. The gate codes were numerous so we put them in our phones. Usually the gate codes worked but a few times they would not work. Our group was not the only group having the issue. Neighbors were always helping one another when codes did not work so we felt it was a community wide issue. The downstairs had a brief a/c issue. The staff took our call immediately and had maintenance there to assess the issue within an hour and had the issue fixed by the afternoon.

Paradise! This house is amazing. Modern, clean, with everything you need for an amazing beach getaway. Perfect for families (kid-friendly). Plenty of comfortable accommodations (the Tempurpedic mattress was amazing after a long day in the sun). The pool is and outside patio is spacious and private. The walk to the beach is about 5 minutes. Beach access is easy, but beware that there is no ramp (about 20 stairs to climb down). Also, tents and canopies are not allowed on this portion of the beach (umbrellas are fine). Location is central to everything you need. Really enjoyed the privacy of the neighborhood. Our first night, the upstairs air conditioner was broken (87 degrees). I called and the host had a repair technician at the house within an hour! The problem was fixed on the spot. Great customer service! Would recommend, and will be back!

Great house - beautiful neighborhood! Great pool and amenities. The only challenging part was getting all codes and info for checkin. I believe this would be on airbnbs part, but many different emails will come through with codes and rental agreements and surveys. Make sure to keep your eyes open!

This is a great home for a large family or two families.
Plenty of space, safe, comfortable beds and sofa, great pool/yard space, easy access to many stores, restaurants, entertainment.
Walk to the beach is close enough but if you have smaller children it may be challenging to carry them (with all their beach toys) and go through 2 gates.
Code for accessing the beach gate only worked once. The lock itself is either ready for maintenance or a change.
We had some trouble with the pool heater working consistently but Jilenna was very diligent in getting us into a warm pool.
We had a great time and can’t wait to go back!

This home was such a great location to the beach and restaurants. The neighborhood was quiet and quaint. The home was the perfect size for our family offering enough beds and rooms. The only thing that could have been different was more attention to dusting of lights and furniture as well as a few added kitchen utensils to make it even easier for out of state guests to feel like everything they need is right in the home. Our family spent a week at Salt Life and loved it! The house and pool are as beautiful as the pictures! Although we’re all “beach” people, we spent most of the time floating in the pool relaxing. (Might have had something to do with the nearly half mile walk to the beach.). If given the opportunity, would go back in a heartbeat!

We loved this house and the location. Beach was an easy walk with a gate access and the neighborhood was great. House was great for a big family and has everything you could possibly need. I also loved the parking and garage for this house it was much bigger than most other properties we have stayed at in Florida.

This house is very spacious and stylish. The pool is large and very relaxing. The whole patio is very well decorated and accommodating. The beach is very close, we walked to the beach twice a day! Also, grocery stores, pharmacies, and restaurants are just minutes. You won’t be disappointed!

The pool is what really sets this place apart. With the hurricane that just came through, the beach wasn’t allowing people to get in the water. So having our own pool and not having to share with other guests like a condo was really nice. Rooms are spacious, updated decor, great kitchen, Loved having bikes to ride to the beach which is very close, and it’s close to just about everything else. We will definitely book this house again!!

This house was a perfect fit for our families. The location was close enough to walk, bike, or take a golf cart ride to the beach. The house looked like it was recently renovated and was pristine upon arrival. The pool was great for sun bathing or swimming for the kids and the sleeping arrangements were great except the bunk room has to share a bathroom with another room. Overall, with COVID going around, this house was truly a home away from home and a great, clean, well kept and well maintained place to spend our 2020 family vacation.

We were very impressed with the quality and condition of the property. The house is well designed in terms of layout, the kitchen was well equipped and the property seemed brand new. The pictures on the website are very accurate. The golf cart came in very handy in travel to/from the beach. We had a minor maintenance issue and they were extremely responsive to remedying the issue. We had a great overall experience.

We just returned from our stay at Salt Life. It is a beautiful home - staged perfectly. The pool is really the thing that sold us on this house. Most homes in this area did not have pools because the beach is so close but it really helped after a day at the beach, to come back and jump in the pool! Pros: everything in the home is new, nice large bedrooms, plenty of space for kids and adults! SUPER short walk to the public beach. Cons: no beach towels (bring your own), there's a lot of construction going on but it was not a big deal, took a bit to get the bikes. Golf Cart only seats 4 people, not 6 as shown in pic. No where to park the golf cart at the beach. Kids room needed some better lighting, so we moved the lamps around. Also the entrance to the beach was busy and you better remember the code or you can't get in or out!! couldn't work the fireplace. Maybe plan to offer some games/cards etc All in all, loved our stay - thank you!!
