We loved our stay! We were in town for a wedding at the Chapel at Seaside. Everything was within walking distance which was great plus having access to bikes was helpful if something was farther away.

House had what we needed. Easy to find and park. Some updates from old reviews on Airbnb: There are two A/C which do a great job at cooling at the top of the house (prior review said no A/C in the top room) and a single bed and day bed which is totally workable for another party. The A/C in general was very good and kept the whole house feeling great. Bikes were easy to use and ready to go. Outdoor shower with hot and cold water which was a treat. It was easy to find beach gear. The beach access is as convenient as it's going to get where the location is: maybe a 3-5 minute walk. The only issue I had was outside of this houses control which is the traffic volume and state of the roads in the area that it is in, they were in a really poor state with a lot of large potholes and what seemed like constant construction traffic. Otherwise, the house is a little worse for wear with scuffs and dings and occasional damage but no major issues, and if I had to I wouldn't mind staying again.

Teenage granddaughters (6 of them)wanted to be close to the seaside pavilion and 4th of July on the beach and this place was the perfect place. Close to every they wanted and plenty of room for all of us. We will probably be staying here again. Had an issue with the downstairs air conditioner called and someone was there in under 2 hours to fix it. Great service. Thank you for making this time with our grandchildren awesome.

The house was just what we needed and a good value for the money. Everything was within walking distance but a golf cart would have made things much easier. There are some beach chairs there to use which was really convenient. My only suggestion if you bring a group is bring laundry detergent so you can wash towels and know they don’t give you many wash cloths, I think there was maybe one per bathroom.

I have really thought about my stay at this property. As others have stated, the home is dated. We didn’t mind at all. It was in the absolute perfect location. Close to the square, but not too close to hear all the noise. The layout of the home really worked out great for our family and the family we traveled with. Excellent situation when traveling with teens. My constructive feedback would be that it’s not well equipped compared to other VBRO places I’ve stayed, so I was caught off guard on items not being on the property. Small things such as salt and pepper to zero beach towels/chairs and very minimum toilet paper, paper towels. So, prepare to absolutely bring or buy everything. Bottom line, amazing time and we’d book this property again. Thank you to the lovely homeowners on opening your wonderful home. P.S. loved seeing the picture of the homeowners daughter as SMU’s (my alma mater) homecoming queen!

Great property. Short walk to the beach, easy walk or bike ride to seaside center. Plenty of space. The 3rd floor room was a great space for a teen but no blinds in the room. So very bright in the morning. House had 2 box fans which I really appreciate. Over all I would stay there again. 4 of us 2 adults and 15 and 12 year old.

This was our second time to stay here and we love the house! We did have a lot of trouble connecting to the internet and the WiFi connection was poor in all areas of the house despite restarting the modem—just FYI. Would love to come back in the future.

This home was just a perfect get away for my family to enjoy a Pre- Thanksgiving getaway. We enjoyed the space and the coziness of the home. The location was also an A plus! This booking agency was top notch in my opinion. They would continuously reach out to see if we needed anything and constantly provide us with updates and helpful information. Definitely would stay at this home again.

Historic freezing temperatures led to a rough first 2 days starting with no hot water, then a pipe burst (!), but Tina, Billy, and Chris were the superstars who stayed with us the whole time, found us a nearby property to shower, and got the repair done quickly so we didn't have to repack and relocate in the middle of our stay... We had a great remaining vacation, and we'll definitely be returning. Hats off to RealJoy! Happy New Year!

Nice that it had an empty lot next door. Loved that it came with bikes so we could bike to the center and to the beach. But needed a few more bikes in case of extra guests. Needed laundry detergent tabs. It would be easy to supply toiletries. The road was dusty in front of the house.

Overall, I really enjoyed the house, the layout, the decor, and it's proxmity to both Seaside and the beaches. The house has a lot of spirit and made for a great week's stay. It comes with 4 bikes and I was able to take advantage, including a long bike ride over to Rosemary. As this house is not part of the Seaside neighborhood (but is directly adjacent), my biggest complaint was needing to use the bathroom on the beach. It's about a 10 minute walk roundtrip to the house to go, although some folks would just go in the ocean I guess. But, something to consider.

Very funky and cool home just a block from public beach access a an easy walk to food trucks, restaurants, shops and more and Watercolor. We especially liked the cool shade of the trees around the property, the outdoor spaces, and the complimentary bicycles. We will look for this place next time we visit.

Beautiful home located just a short block away from the beach access! Just a few blocks from the Seaside town center. Includes 4 bikes which are a wonderful way to get around the area with. The layout of the home created enough space for 11 people to sleep if needed. Homeowners own flair, style and soul is shown throughout this fun homey beach house.
