Everything as advertised, large house that's great value for money. No problems though decor is a little dated. Just one block from the beach!

The house was just what we needed and a good value for the money. Everything was within walking distance but a golf cart would have made things much easier. There are some beach chairs there to use which was really convenient. My only suggestion if you bring a group is bring laundry detergent so you can wash towels and know they don’t give you many wash cloths, I think there was maybe one per bathroom.

I have really thought about my stay at this property. As others have stated, the home is dated. We didn’t mind at all. It was in the absolute perfect location. Close to the square, but not too close to hear all the noise. The layout of the home really worked out great for our family and the family we traveled with. Excellent situation when traveling with teens. My constructive feedback would be that it’s not well equipped compared to other VBRO places I’ve stayed, so I was caught off guard on items not being on the property. Small things such as salt and pepper to zero beach towels/chairs and very minimum toilet paper, paper towels. So, prepare to absolutely bring or buy everything. Bottom line, amazing time and we’d book this property again. Thank you to the lovely homeowners on opening your wonderful home. P.S. loved seeing the picture of the homeowners daughter as SMU’s (my alma mater) homecoming queen!

Great property. Short walk to the beach, easy walk or bike ride to seaside center. Plenty of space. The 3rd floor room was a great space for a teen but no blinds in the room. So very bright in the morning. House had 2 box fans which I really appreciate. Over all I would stay there again. 4 of us 2 adults and 15 and 12 year old.

This was our second time to stay here and we love the house! We did have a lot of trouble connecting to the internet and the WiFi connection was poor in all areas of the house despite restarting the modem—just FYI. Would love to come back in the future.

This home was just a perfect get away for my family to enjoy a Pre- Thanksgiving getaway. We enjoyed the space and the coziness of the home. The location was also an A plus! This booking agency was top notch in my opinion. They would continuously reach out to see if we needed anything and constantly provide us with updates and helpful information. Definitely would stay at this home again.

This property is in a great location. 2+/- minute walk to Seaside and 4+/- minute walk to the beach. Great "old Florida" feel to the area with live oaks, gravel/sand road, etc. Would definitely book again!

We loved our time at the Playhouse! The house is very funky--lots of fun art and happy colors. The location was perfect--my two teens could easily jump on the bikes and head to Seaside for a quick bite to eat of to wander around. The neighborhood was quiet but really close to everything--and the beach was an easy bike ride or walk. The house itself was very comfortable--we did eat our lunch and dinner out--we didn't do any cooking, so I can't speak to the kitchen. The beds were comfortable! We all could spread out and have our own space, but the living room had seating for us all to lounge together, too. Would definitely recommend.

Historic freezing temperatures led to a rough first 2 days starting with no hot water, then a pipe burst (!), but Tina, Billy, and Chris were the superstars who stayed with us the whole time, found us a nearby property to shower, and got the repair done quickly so we didn't have to repack and relocate in the middle of our stay... We had a great remaining vacation, and we'll definitely be returning. Hats off to RealJoy! Happy New Year!

Nice that it had an empty lot next door. Loved that it came with bikes so we could bike to the center and to the beach. But needed a few more bikes in case of extra guests. Needed laundry detergent tabs. It would be easy to supply toiletries. The road was dusty in front of the house.

Very quick walk to the beach and to Seaside center. There are trees on the property line, so the porches feel somewhat private. That’s nice for drinking coffee outside in the mornings. I texted the property manager at 7:00 pm on Sunday about the shower not draining, and someone had it fixed by 10:00 am Monday. Very responsive and helpful. The property was clean and well laid out. The beds are comfortable, and the linens are good. The only negatives, which are minor, are that the dryer doesn’t dry well and the kitchen is not as well-stocked as some I’ve been in. It took 3 or 4 runs to dry a load of 4 beach towels. There were no potholders or oven mitts, and more than one dish towel would be helpful. Overall, it was a very nice place, and I would stay here again.

Overall, I really enjoyed the house, the layout, the decor, and it's proxmity to both Seaside and the beaches. The house has a lot of spirit and made for a great week's stay. It comes with 4 bikes and I was able to take advantage, including a long bike ride over to Rosemary. As this house is not part of the Seaside neighborhood (but is directly adjacent), my biggest complaint was needing to use the bathroom on the beach. It's about a 10 minute walk roundtrip to the house to go, although some folks would just go in the ocean I guess. But, something to consider.

We had a great time in Seagrove! We loved all of the eclectic pictures on the wall. The location was great. It was a short walk to the beach and very close to the downtown Seaside area. My father-in-law especially enjoyed swinging on the front porch swing.

We really loved the area and this was our first trip to Seagrove/Seaside. It was so convenient to everything we barely had to use the car. Property management a responsive on a couple small issues we had. The home is amazing! We are very much into theater/arts and this house definitely matched our eclectic style. We loved this property! The decor was a blend of different influences and colors and was personal to the owner of the property. It really felt like we were guests of somebody rather than staying at a generic hotel or bland investment property. We did have to keep young kids away from some of the trinkets dotted around the house though for fear of breakage! The bunk beds were full Queen size mattresses and on the lower level. The two main bedrooms on the 2nd floor were great. We did not use the upper ‘crows nest’ room. It would be a great space for kids though would probably get very hot up there. It had a small AC unit though up there though. We liked the fact that we were so close to the beach access and also to the center of Seaside. The outside shower was great too to stop sand getting everywhere - but that’s inevitable near the beach! The area was very walkable. It was a few minutes walk to great eateries. There’s also a Publix grocery store less than a mile away so we didn’t have to load the car up with supplies before traveling to stay. Would definitely stay here again!

The rental experience was very good. Overall, the house is quite dated and incredibly weird for Seagrove/Seaside. And, that’s not a bad thing - just, if you want the total beach vibe with white and light blue decor, this is definitely not for you. This place feels more like someone’s personal art exhibit with paintings and, in some cases, life-size statues and busts. One thing you cannot beat is the location - .1 miles to the beach and .3 miles to Seaside. Oh, and that’s the actual distance - ignore any other details you might read. Wouldn’t say the property was “spic n’ span” clean but it was good enough for us. Others might be pickier. Thanks for the hospitality! Hope to see you again soon.

Very funky and cool home just a block from public beach access a an easy walk to food trucks, restaurants, shops and more and Watercolor. We especially liked the cool shade of the trees around the property, the outdoor spaces, and the complimentary bicycles. We will look for this place next time we visit.

We really enjoyed our time at Playhouse II. It was clean and had the needed amenities. It was located right outside of the busyness of Seaside but close enough to walk and enjoy the restaurants and shops. It was quiet and cozy. The only suggestion I have is lessen up on the decorating “accessories” along the stairs. It made them a little crowded.
