Our stay was amazing! This place is amazing, the amenities, the customer service, the cleanliness, the prompt communication was beyond my expectations. The bed was the most comfortable bed I had experienced, I felt at home. We had booked this last minute and the communication was lighting fast! I had broken a glass by accident somehow while doing dishes, I pulled it out of the dishwasher and it was broken into several pieces, I notified the owners/company and their concern for my safety and my children’s safety was beyond comprehension. I was very impressed. This kind of customer service is rare these days. I will definitely recommend this company and this unit to my friends and family, and I look forward to rebooking!

Really nice place, very good view from balcony, in the apartment you have everything what is necessary. Nice place. When we arrived we liked apartment very much, but floor was very dirty, it was not visible, but when you are walking without shoes you feel only sand (we never use shous inside), I was disappointment about it, because we needed clean by ourself.

We stayed in pilot house 506. This is in the baytowne warf shopping area. The condo was beautiful and had a decent amount of room for us. The room came with passes to use the tram to go around the Sandestin resort area. This condo is not on the beach, you do have to take the tram or drive to the beach that is in this area. Another thing to note is that if you do go to the beach in Sandestin, there is a very small public area that you are required to use. The rest of the beach area is for other hotels only (unless you rent chairs). We were here 4th of July weekend so parking became an issue due to the influx of people. Once the reserved parking for pilot house is used you have to park down the street. Parking and the tram were our only two “hiccups” I guess you would say. But we really loved how quiet this place was. It was a relaxing vacation and we will certainly be back here again.

RealJoy's listing was perfect for our young family! We didn't realize how many additional amenities were available for our child! On-resort activities, such as the Pirate show, carousel, playground, and so much more just made the trip all the more enjoyable! Once we parked, we didn't even have to get in our car to access the Sunset cruise, restaurants, pools, or beach, which was accessible by tram. What a great place! We will definitely book through RealJoy again!

Air wasn’t working properly first night. Host was very responsive and also gave a slight refund for the trouble. An additional bit of information that would be nice is that you are parking in a parking garage. I didn’t realize this upon booking. Traveled in a lifted F-250 so it was pretty tight. We really enjoyed booking through Real Joy Vacations. We stayed in Pilot House 506 and had a wonderful time! They were very thoughtful, communicative, and helped us have a seamless process. I needed to add a day to our vacation last minute, and they made it happen with absolutely no problems. I was texting with someone throughout the trip with any questions. They always responded. We loved the room, the huge TV, the bed was very comfortable, large balcony, and everything was very clean upon arrival. We have 2 young children, and the room worked well for all of us. It was very quiet the whole time. If I absolutely had to find anything that could be improved, I would say the kitchen needs a new knife set as they are very dull and hard to use! But that is of course an easy fix, and we would absolutely stay here again!

I thoroughly appreciated how clean and comfortable this unit was since it rained the entire time I was in Florida and I spent a lot of time in my room.
The unit smelled AMAZING and had everything I needed.
I also enjoyed the sounds of the tree frogs from the garden below.
This unit is in a beautiful area with quite a bit to see/do. Lots of nature, shopping, and restaurants close by.

Location Location is definitely what we enjoyed. Even thought the beach was not as closed as we wanted to, there is definitely a lot other options available without having to drive anywhere. From live band, good restaurants, and good shopping, there is really nothing to complain about. You can either stay in and relax at the pool with a beautiful view of the garden or explore!

Once you park your car there is no need to get back in until you leave. Everything you need is on premises (except a really good sauté pan so bring one if you will need one). The kids loved the activities and not once did I have to hear “I’m bored”. The tram takes you straight to the beach and we met lots of nice families from all over. Bed was comfortable but very tall ( approximately 31 inches in height) Might be a challenge to get in and out of for individuals with limited mobility and height. Note…to get to pool area go to center of building—3rd floor. Loved our stay!! Plan to rent again.

loved the location, amenities, unit layout, and all the accommodations provided. based on a previous review about the dirty floors, I packed extra socks to where around the unit. It was needed. The floors really would turn our feet black. I would wash my son’s feet before putting his shoes on and leaving. Other than that, everything was fantastic.

506 Pilot House was perfect for our week-long getaway. It was very bright and pretty, with great balcony space too. The location in the wharf was perfect for evening strolls or entertainment. It was a quick drive to the beach. We utilized the closest pool until we found the heated one and then used that. The kitchen was fully stocked for a vacation trip. The unit was very clean except for the floors. We had to wear slippers or shoes or else our feet / socks were blackened instantly. Other than that, it was extremely clean. There was no assigned parking (no spots in the garage are numbered even though the check-in portal said there was a spot), but parking was always available so it didn’t matter. The lobby code hadn’t been updated in the portal either but an owner helped us out. All other information in the portal was accurate. The Sandestin app / website is functional but doesn’t give a whole lot of detailed information about things to do or how to access areas. Most of the restaurants we ate at (almost all off property) were from word-of-mouth of other guests / owners. The wharf area turned out to be the best for our week since we enjoy nightlife and didn’t mind the quick drive to the beach. We would definitely consider staying here again if we returned to the area. We really enjoyed our stay.

If you are going to eat out there you need to get there early .There is no trolley to the beach but beautiful state parks 10 to 20 minutes away. Suggest Anderson state park.

The beach is right across the street and lots of food places Near the resort.
I would avoid eating at the Broken Egg within the resort during Spring Break, super high volume and long wait.

The unit is lovely. It was just as described in the listing. The photos are accurate and up to date. We had excellent communication with Robyn. The golf cart was perfect too. I highly recommend it. The only negative is the beach frontage. It would have been better if more space was available. The beach was packed. Overall, we would absolutely stay here again. Easy check-in and fast, thorough communication from owner. Clean, well stocked and comfy furniture. Bed was very comfortable and kitchen and bathroom were both well stocked. Washer-dryer in unit is a plus and the golf cart was great to have. Parking for this building is easy and convenient too. No complaints at all!

We have rented 5x from Beachside II Condos (on the beach) because its the most convenient with two toddlers and we have always enjoyed our stay. We decided to rent elsewhere this time because Beachside II started to feel older and dirtier. We took a chance with Robyn's condo due to the 100% reviews and the pictures/golf cart. We were not disappointed. I'm extremely clean and germophobic. I felt very comfortable and at home. Not once did I miss being on the beach. My boys loved riding in the golf cart to the beach. It was better than being steps away from the beach. I had to communicate with Robyn a lot before/during our stay, and she was always quick to respond. She was more than kind to accommodate when we needed a special request. It was a vacation experience that exceeded our expectations.

This property was great for us as a family of 5. My husband and I stayed here with our 3 young girls aged 7,4,&2. *When we first arrived to the area we easily found our parking garage and condo by the directions given. *We found our room and our code worked perfect. *The condo was clean and just as pictured. *We did have a hard time locating a luggage cart to bring our items up as we had several for a family of 5 and this unit is on the 5th floor. *The pull out couch did have some sand all over the top of it when we removed the cushions, but we are at the beach! We cleaned it and the girls said the bed was comfortable and were able to sleep on it all week. *The king bed was clean and very comfortable. *having a washer and dryer in unit was a blessing! *kitchen was fully equipped and had wonderful new appliances. *Bathroom was spacious and nice. Our downfalls were that the tub floor was very slick, shower head has low water pressure which can make washing 4 heads of long hair harder, and the tub often held water when showering. *the golf cart rental with this unit is a must and was wonderful to cruise the area on. The luggage rack was a blessing with hauling any extra items. *Our biggest issues were the crowds. We came during a peak time and the crowds on the beach were insane. The Sandestin resort sets up SO MANY chair rentals and I never once saw them all used. You don't have much beach space at all. *Also if you left in your vehicle and came back after 8:30pm it takes FOREVER to find parking in the parking garage. On Thursday night we drove around the garage for 34minutes waiting for a spot to open up. Overall this unit was great!! It was mainly the resort/village this time of year being insanely crowded!! We would definitely rent this unit again...but during a slow period.

The condo is exactly like pictured and clean. Robyn was so great to communicate with and very helpful in several ways. This will be my new place to stay. This was our first time here and we loved the location, restaurants, and shops. Slick Lips was our favorite. This was my first time to ever visit Florida, and staying in the Pilot House was perfect! It is located within walking distance to the Village of Baytowne Wharf where there is so much to do and see for all ages. We were able to go down the road a bit and visit the Destin area as well. We also met a nice gentleman on the elevator on our first night who told us about a state park where the beach is not as crowded. I totally recommend visiting Topsail Hill Preserve State Park. I'd like to say thank you to Robyn for being such a wonderful host. The condo was beautifully decorated and was very relaxing. The bed was extremely comfortable! And also, get the golf cart! You won't regret it!

We only got in the car to travel to Harbor Docks in Destin since it’s a favorite of ours, but otherwise we didn’t have to get in the car all weekend!

Baytown is a great neighborhood with everything. The condo is perfectly located, very clean and great comfortable beds. Having access to the golf cart was nice so we could ride around and look at the Christmas lights. Also road over to the beach to watch the sunset. We had a fabulous time! The instructions provided were spot-on, we had no issues parking, finding the condo, or the golf cart. DEFINITELY pay the additional rental fee for the golf cart -- it opens up a whole new world of fun at Baytowne. The condo is conveniently located in the town square. We will be back!

My husband and my 2 children(age 5 and 9) enjoyed our time at Pilot House 506. The condo was clean, beautifully decorated, and everything was as pictured. It was nice to be able to take a few steps and be at the village enjoying all the fun activities! We rented the golf cart for our stay which was a huge plus because we never had to get in the car again after we arrived. It was so convenient to take to the grocery store and beach. The cleaning of this condo was impeccable. Well stocked with extra pillows, blankets, towels, laundry soap, and kitchen equipment essentials. The pull out couch was comfortable enough. The master bed was quit hard but I am a soft bed sort of person. The porch is nice with four chairs. Overall a relaxing and comfortable place for our family! Great location with proximity to Baytown, pool, and beach shuttle. I marked check-in process as four stars only because SanDestin requires access codes for multiple areas and these codes were not consolidated in one place in my email. So they got buried in my inbox. Our host was easy to contact and she helped me with finding our door code. Thanks for a nice stay!

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at 506 Pilot House. Robyn was great to work with and very responsive from the start. The condo is adorable and the perfect location with Baytowne Wharf right out the backdoor. We loved being able to pop over for snacks or fun without having to go far. The beach is an easy 7-10 minute ride on the tram, but make sure you look at what tram you take as some go a longer route. If you chose to drive it's quick and parking is relatively close. The entire resort area is beautiful and very well maintained with plenty to do (nature trails, marina, bike riding, and tons of kid friendly activities at the wharf). I hope we are able to visit again and would not hesitate to book the same condo. Thanks Robyn!

It was our first time in Sandestin and it definitely will not be our last! The week we stayed was lovely and quiet and we could walk everywhere! The pool was perfect and we loved the grilling area. As for the condo itself, Robyn it was great! there was no confusion as to what we needed to have done before we left, and the place was clean and felt like home. The weekend got a little loud in the hallway, but to no fault of where we were located just some disrespectful guest through out the building. I would stay here again and again!

We stayed 2 days prior to sons wedding then moved to wedding home / venue. This condo is perfect for 3-5 night stay if you wanna be convenient to The Grand and Baytowne. We absolutely loved staying at this condo. The pictures are accurate representations of this clean and well-maintained place. Robyn was very responsive to my questions and everything was as she promised. This condo is located in the Pilot House which is nearby the Village of Baytown Wharf. The Village and the pool/gym is just a couple of minutes away (walking). We ate at Hammerheads a couple of nights so that we could watch the Florida sunset at the marina. My husband loved that the ice cream store was just a walk away, too. We did visit the beach one day. Robyn provided us with the tram passes and our driver gave us a tour of the Bayside area on our way to the beach. He was very informative and kind. The resort and golf courses are beautiful. I would definitely recommend this property to a friend or relative.

The expansion project on Hwy 98 can make traffic daunting. The great thing about Sandestin Golf & Beach Resort, is once you arrive, most everything is within walking distance or a short tram ride away. This was the perfect little spot for our girl’s Wine Fest weekend! Everything is RIGHT THERE! We also went to the beach a couple of times and taking the tram could not have been easier. Each time we walked up, it was pulling up. Robyn’s directions were clear and she had some great recommendations! We tried Slick Lips, a newer restaurant at the Wharf at the food was delicious. Not only was it good, but we didn’t have a reservation, the Wine Fest had just ended, it was 8pm, and they sat us within 15 minutes! One word of advice to the coffee drinkers, bring K-cups as there is no regular coffee maker in the condo. I’m sure Robyn says this in the description, but since I’m not a coffee drinker I failed to recognize that and pass the word on to my 2 coffee drinking friends. There is a coffee shop right when you exit the complex so it really wasn’t that big of a deal. Also, salt,pepper/spices if you plan on cooking. The pool area is HUGE and gorgeous! Lots of greenery making it feel very lush. I would absolutely book with Robyn again! Thanks for sharing your home!

We stayed here for Spring Break. We have 2 small children, and it was a perfect size. So helpful having a washer/dryer! The location was also wonderful! We were able to drive to the beach in the mornings and never had an issue with parking at the beach. We were then able to enjoy the heated pool and restaurants in the afternoon/evening.

My husband and I could not have been more pleased with this property! I've been vacationing in Sandestin for over 30 years, and this was one of the best rentals we've had to date. The decor/ artwork is beachy and beautiful, the bed is super comfortable, and the condo had everything we needed. We appreciated the DVD player in the bedroom, as it was so nice to watch a Red Box rental in bed! The balcony provides a lovely view of the pool (which was outstanding), and we loved being able to walk to breakfast at Another Broken Egg- one of our favorites. The condo and pool were quiet and relaxing, while the close proximity to the Wharf makes for an easy night out by just walking out the door. Even the extra blankets were soft and luxurious. Robyn, the owner, could not have been more kind, helpful, and responsive. It's clear that the owners take pride in providing a wonderful vacation spot. We will definitely be back!

Something for everyone each day and evening: foods, arcades, fireworks, concerts, ziplines, shopping, etc. Beaches were close by and beautiful. My family and I enjoyed our stay at the Pilot House. The condo was clean and very comfortable. Owner has great decor and fabulous calming beachy colors in the condo. The condo balcony overlooked the terrace area where the pool was located. The pool was great and it was large enough for many families to be out there on the pool deck and in the pool all at once. The beach is located just a short drive away or you could take the tram. My family and I chose to drive. There is parking on the gulf side of the SanDestin Resort with beach access. Dining and shopping was close by. Overall our stay was awesome and we'd definitely book another trip here.

Pilot House 506 is a nice condo that is tastefully decorated, very comfortable and quiet. Part of a large resort-like area with lovely grounds for walking, biking, etc. Nice balcony overlooking the pool area, although all the trees and vegetation give you a sense of some privacy. Owner was easy to deal with, and our deposit was returned very promptly.

From start to finish of our getaway stay was seamless. Easy booking with a great reasonable off season rental price. The Anderson's condo 1 bedroom 1 bath Pilot house #506 was fully furnished and very tastefully decorated and clean. I do intend to stay again.

Such a great property. Condo beautifully decorated. What few questions I had were answered immediately via email by owner. Perfect location if you want to walk down into Baytowne wharf. My one piece of advice- bring extra toilet paper if you do not plan to go to the grocery once you arrive as only one roll is provided and there are no convenience stores in or within walking distance of Baytowne wharf( that I know of anyway). My girlfriends and I had a great time, will definitely request this condo again!

Had a wonderful stay. Condo is very clean and everything is brand new with updated decor throughout. There is a nice, private balcony with a gorgeous view of the pool to enjoy your morning coffee. Inside is very relaxing, especially the bed, by far one of the best in any VRBO. Owners are very nice and very quick to respond with any questions you may have. Would definitely stay here again and would recommend to anyone.

From brand new decor to a stocked kitchen, this beautiful condo had it all and then some including creative pictures and decor that the owners put a lot of thought and hard work into. The owners were very quick with responding to any questions or needs we had. The condo is located right in the middle of all Baytowne Wharf has to offer. Over the past several years, we have vacationed at various homes/condos in the San Destin/Baytown area. This is a very nice condo with current styled furnishings. Everything in this condo is very clean and practically brand new. Great location-- convenient to the parking garage and the wharf. If I HAD to pick something that needs improving, the absolute only things I could think of would be to add a full length mirror somewhere in the condo and the kitchen doesn't have storage for food/snacks (this could be fixed by adding some shelving in the closet that houses the broom and vacuum...this closet's space could be better utilized than JUST for a broom/vacuum. The owner is quick to respond and very helpful. We will be staying here again. I absolutely would recommend this condo.

Thank you for your review and suggestions. We definitely plan to add a full length mirror behind the bedroom door. The cabinet and shelf above the refrigerator are empty for food storage. I will look at rearranging other items to try and free up some additional space. You were a pleasure to work with and look forward to your next stay.
