This beautifully decorated 1BR/2BA condo comfortably sleeps 6 and offers a fabulous kitchen with stainless appliances and new furnishings. Gaze across the endless Gulf Shoreline from your private beachfront balcony or unwind with your loved ones after a fun day at the beach. The master bedroom has a king-size bed and a private bathroom. A set of twin bunk beds is situated in a niche located in the hallway, positioned just next to the unit's second full bath for easy access. Snowbird Season runs December thru February. For a quote, select an arrival date (must be the 1st day of the month) and a departure date (must be the 1st day of a subsequent month). Pelican Beach Resort offers all the amenities you’d expect at a luxurious resort! This Beach Front Resort offers spacious meeting facilities, THREE Pools including a Gulf Front pool, Lake Front pool at The Terrace, an indoor/outdoor pool (seasonally heated), a kiddie pool, laundry facilities on each floor, TWO fitness centers, outdoor gas grills, tennis courts, and even a video game room!

The Pelican Tiki Bar is a lively beachside bar – stop by and ask your friendly bartender to mix you a refreshing drink to take to the beach or sit by the pool. The Pelican Beach Café brews fresh coffee and is open for breakfast mornings at 8 serving yummy pastries and breakfast sandwiches. You can order lunch and take it to the pool or beach (note, this is closed from November to January) You can even order a beach set up right at the private boardwalk leading to the beach. Also, for the younger guests, a nautically/pirate-themed outdoor playground features a 1,750 square foot soft play area with various creatures from the sea, slides, and a treasure chest! Destin Commons also has a mini train for the kids. Destin Commons features over 75 shops and restaurants, including Godiva Chocolates, AMC Movie Theaters, and Bass Pro Shop.

Pelican Beach Resort is across the street from Big Kahuna's Waterpark, full of great splashing fun for the kids. And it is within walking distance to Mellow Mushroom and the Pancakery!

Too much for too little

**Rating: (4/10)**We were honestly a bit disappointed with our stay. While the location was fine and the beach itself is beautiful, the condo didn’t quite meet our expectations based on the listing. A few things to be aware of if you're considering booking:* The **master bedroom does NOT have an ocean view**, which was a bummer. You only see the ocean from the living room.* The **curtains in the living room were broken**, so we had to use a hair clip to close them for privacy at night.* **Fridge and freezer didn’t work properly** when we arrived. We had to adjust the settings ourselves to get them to cool/freeze correctly.* **No oven mitts** in the kitchen, so we had to make do with towels for cooking.* The **washer/dryer is not in the unit**, it’s down the hall and costs \2.50 per load—something we wish we knew ahead of time.* Found a **long black hair in the bed** when we first turned down the blankets, which was pretty gross.* **No basic pantry items** like salt, pepper, or oil, which most rentals usually have as starter supplies.* Beach chair/umbrella rentals were **outrageously expensive**, much higher than what we’ve paid in nearby areas like Fort Walton.* The **main pool closed at dusk**, which was frustrating since our kids love to swim. The other pools got overcrowded quickly.Overall, we felt the value just wasn’t there compared to other places we’ve stayed. Fort Walton has fewer crowds, better prices, and less hassle. Probably won’t be back.

Beautiful condo and the view is amazing!!

Beautiful condo decorated so beautiful for the beach. View is amazing!! Pools and facilities were awesome and so much fun. Only thing could have been better was the room hadn’t been swept or mopped, we were able to get ahold of some one very quickly to address the issue. The ac was a little warmer than we like but they did bring us some fans we used and we were fine.Over all wonderful stay and we will definitely be back!!

Perfect family getaway.

The unit we stayed in was exactly as described and our family members that were in other units kept commenting how they thought ours was so nicely decorated and the view was perfect. All beds and linens were comfy and the kids loved the bunk beds. The guy running the chair rental stand on the beach, Ivar, was super nice and efficient. All of the pools and amenities of the resort were wonderful. You really never even have to leave the resort unless you just want to go do something specific.

Five stars for Real Joy Vacations! We were privileged to stay at Pelican Beach Resort for our first time this past Jan-Feb. We found Real Joy very helpful if an issue arose concerning our condo. Those who were sent out to correct issues were pleasant and greeted us with smiles. Special shout out to Michael who bought and brought us a King foam mattress pad to make our night’s sleep more comfortable. To Davis and Adam who fixed our kitchen faucet. To April who I must say is top notch with personality and pleasantness in checking out a bathroom toilet issue. If she had had more time, I would have loved for her to enjoy a glass of ice tea with us. To Van for correcting the toilet issue that April felt we needed. And to Logan for calling to see how our stay went and to offer heartfelt prayers after hearing we had to cut our stay a couple days shorter due to my husband’s health. Top notch people working to help us have the best vacation getaway…it was refreshing working with Real Joy. Thank you much…E & E

Great View

The view of the gulf was impressive. The fifth floor was just right for us. Floor needed to be mopped better. My wife and I had to keep washing our feet. Cannot forget phone in room so can get back in with complicated code.

Condo was as pictured, great beachfront view, clean and comfortable. Please add k cup coffee maker on amenities list, also hair dryers in both bathrooms. Those weren't listed, but are in the condo. Slight odor in hallway, maybe add plug in room freshener. Overall,,very nice stay.
