Great location. You can go either way on the strip to get to attractions. A few things are accessible by walking but driving is advisable. Traffic is very heavy in that area so getting to the left side is hell. The condo itself was everything we needed. They had a few beach chairs & a cooler available for us to use & we used them alot! The Cafe on site is very good food & they have some water play things available to purchase. The kids loved the bunk beds & our King size bed was very comfortable, except for the sand that always found its way in. We did not watch much TV but they worked & had alot of channels to watch. the views where great, especially watching everyone at night crab hunting & watching the storms roll in. Parking was always easy & the staff was friendly when we needed them. The chair rental situation sucked, you cannot set up on the water front as they take it up 1st thing in the morning, that was a bummer. Over all we will return to the Pelican resort again

Wonderfully communicative hosts. Generously stocked unit with home and beach essentials. Unit 410 may be in one of the best locations relative to the rest of the building. It has a complete view of the beach front (and one of the three pools below). The 4th floor is high enough for a great view, but not so high that you can't take the stairs. It is also set off to the side of the building, well away from busy thoroughfares. You are close, but not too close, to a stairwell. This is important because some of the stairwell doors have a tendency to slam shut. There's also a trash chute next to the stairs which is convenient, not loud or smelly. I would recommend staying here!

From reading the reviews I was skeptical of our stay because I vacation a lot in Destin and know how most places do need upgrades etc. However, this place was not bad at all, I've seen worse. My partner and I came down for a quick weekend getaway for my birthday. The level location was perfect so we did not have to wait long for the elevators and we brought our own wagon which was helpful to transport our stuff. The only issue which wasn't a big deal for me but for my partner was the internet connection in the bedroom. While attempting to watch Youtube, it was buffering and pausing a lot. Other than that the bathrooms and kitchen were nice and clean, those are my biggest pet peeves because I always bring my own cleaning supplies as back up every time I travel but did not have to use them. Definitely recommend this stay.

Great stay and would do again! Had a small issue with the shower-heads but was fixed same day!!! Definitely recommend! The views were gorgeous and check in/out were easy! Central location, direct beach access and we were able to walk to big kahunas water park! Wonderful trip!

I don’t have not one complaint. The place felt like I was at home just being comfortable and I enjoyed a calm neutral decor that was beach like but not tacky. Everything was pretty. The view was straight on out at the beach! Pools, restaurant, and tiki bar all fun and convenient. Our first stay at Pelican Beach and will definitely return next year!

We had an amazing stay! Great location great condo facility! Has so much potential to be a fabulous condo. One thing is I wish the condo had all smart tvs. There was only one and it was the kids tv. There were also very little useful kitchen items. Really wish there was a kurig. We bought one and brought it home with us. No scissors or oven mits that we found. Not what we came for obviously so the stay was still good but it would have been more accommodating with those items :)

This was a great getaway trip for my husband and I. Very easy check in and acess to the room. They provided the nessasary kitchen essentials and toilet paper and linens. I will say make sure you shut the door all the way it can get stuck open, not huge deal at all! THE VIEW WAS BEAUTIFUL! I spent alot of time on the balcony in their comfy chairs! I loved having access to 3 different pools. We took adavantage off the beach service and rented 2 chairs and an umbrella right on the beach. They have an awesome tiki bar right next to the pool, also have a waitress going around the pool AND beach area. This was a real deal for all that they offered. This condo is within a 5 minute drive to the board walk and all of the main attrations destin has to offer. I bragged on this place the whole time we were there, would highly recomend!

Great location and amenities. Just go down stairs and you are on the beach in a few seconds. Awesome little tiki bar with all you need for a quick bite to eat or a cold beverage. The room had a great view of the beach and everything you needed.

Came here with my wife and 2-year old and had a blast. The condo was perfect. 4th floor had a beautiful view of the beach and was very convenient to the stairs and elevator. I wish the options for beach setups were different, but that's no representation of the condo or condo owners. Overall we had a great experience.

The condo was very nice. Maybe needed a potholder and a dish rag. Wish it had washer and dryer but it was so restful sitting on the deck. We just loved sitting there. Very comfortable bed. The only bad thing about staying at this resort that you couldn’t sit by the water unless you paid money to get an umbrella and chair I just didn’t know about that we had bought a canopy to put up but no tents or anything we’re allowed. It was sad not to be by the water or sit on the beach so we won’t be back to that resort again eventhough we liked the condo. I just didn’t know resorts could own the beach and charge you to sit on it

The place was pristine upon arrival. A couple questions were immediately responded to. The resort is well maintained and centrally located, anything you need is within a 5 min drive and if you want to drive 15 mins you can triple your options. Highly recommend this condo unit.

We will stay here again. Everything was just easy. Property management was proactiive in sending text communications for arrival, they texted us to check in a couple times to make sure we were satisfied with everything or if we needed anything. Upon checkout we were messaged with all the little friendly check out reminders. I feel like they truly made an effort for us to have a nice comfortable stay. I have read some reviews on here where people complained about the front pool closing at dusk. We had an ocean front balcony and it was quieter and more enjoyable with this pool closing earlier. We appreciated it closing at dusk. There are 2 more pools on the side of the building that are open until 10 or 11 pm. The tiki hut is open until 10pm too for drinks and snacks. I believe they stopped serving hot food at 5 or 6. We had no complaints about the onsite restaurant it was small but the food was good and they had enough options. We stayed 7 nights and we enjoyed everyone of them!

We had a great time in Destin and the accommodations of the condo were fantastic! It was clean, comfortable, and the view was priceless. It was close to everything. There was construction going on which made entering and exiting a little tricky but those are necessary evils. Traffic was a bit heavy trying to get in or out but again sometimes just the pitfall of being on an island. Overall we had a great stay and would definitely book this condo again!
