Pelican Beach Resort 213

I brought my family to Pelican Beach Resort for an end-of-summer vacation, and we had a great time! The location was perfect, and the view from our room was amazing. We enjoyed our time at the beach earlier in the day and also spent some time relaxing at the pool, which was very clean and well-maintained.The resort itself was very clean, the staff was friendly, and there was a great variety of restaurants nearby, which made dining super convenient.One downside was that the beach service stopped issuing chairs and umbrellas at 5 pm, and we were disappointed that we were not able to use our personal tent at all. It would have been nice to have more flexibility to enjoy the beach earlier in the day.Overall, though, it was a wonderful stay, and we would definitely come back for the location, views, and relaxing atmosphere.

My husband and I invited 3 couples for my Birthday getaway. The place was just as listed, but much better in person. We had a private chef to come and prepare our all white birthday brunch. It was perfect!!! Location was everything!! I will definitely be staying here again. We had the best time!

Destin beach and ocean beautiful. Nice size clean pools and hot tubs but very family centered, lots of kids so not any in pool time for our adult group. But nice lounging around pools with plenty chaise lounges. Tiki beach bar great, good food in Cafe not cheap but to be expected in this area.

Our stay started out a little rocky as we found some debris under the bathroom vanity and wet towels in the washer. The property manager was apologetic and offered us a 50$ credit. That seemed reasonable to us. That was seven days ago and the credit hasn't shown up on my card yet. So the refund is most likely not happening. That being said......This was our second year staying at the Pelican Resort. We like the location and beach at the Pelican. The pools are very nice and there is a Tiki bar that serves great drinks. This property features a beautiful view of the Gulf. We were able to view dolphins from the deck. For the price point this was a good find. The pictures are completely accurate but the view is much better than the pics make it out to be. The property managers were very quick to respond. In addition to the initial concerns there also was a chair was broken and the kitchen faucet was dripping. Overall the condo could use a deep clean but I would still recommend this property. We enjoyed our stay very much.

Perfect property, living room has a pull out bed, and both rooms are comfortable. 2nd bedroom is a little tight on space but nothing to complain about. Although its on the side and only 2nd floor, the views are great and balcony is huge. We underestimated the on site cafe, it was one of best meals we had there and NO WAIT and very affordable ! Tiki bar is steps away from room. Recommend renting umbrella there but you must do it early. they sale out. They have 5 grills on site we used several times. This was a great unit.

Easy check in and clean condo. Pools and beach access were very close. It did not seem that there were any property employees around to enforce pool and beach rules. Lots of diving in the pools by kids. At the pool by the TIKI Bar the SPA was not heated and most of the time was being used as a "Kiddie Pool" . I saw no life guards at the beach. Signs were up about no personal beach set ups past the last back row of umbrellas. Every day there were people in front of the first row of umbrellas with chairs and coolers. There was at least on day that people brought dogs tot he beach despite " No Dogs" signs. I saw a number of people with no wrist bands. Again no rules enforcement. The service at the Tiki bar was great. Overall a good week. We would go back

This is a large property, on a nice beach. The building is well maintained with multiple amenities (pools, hottub, cafe, etc.). Check-in was a breeze. The RealJoy Mgmt Co is very professional & I would definitely rent a property of theirs again. This particular unit is comfortable, yet the carpet & paint are a bit dated/worn (which is why I only gave 4 stars for cleanliness).
