We had the best time during our stay! Beautiful views from the balcony! We enjoyed all of the amenities including the beach chair service. It’s valuable to know that you cannot use canopies or big tents on the beach. The room was clean and the decor is gorgeous. We would absolutely stay here again!

BOOK IT! You won't regret it. The condo was exactly like the pictures. Clean, comfortable, and had everything we needed. The view is what keeps bringing me back. Being 20 floors up with nothing but the Gulf of Mexico in front of you is breathtaking. Beach access is right downstairs, and the pools are perfect if you're traveling with kids. I've stayed at this resort multiple times and the café is always a favorite. It's so nice having good food right on-site when you don't feel like packing everyone up to go out (although there are plenty of great restaurants nearby!). My favorite part was sitting on the balcony at night watching the moon light up the Gulf. It looked like a silver path across the water, and it was absolutely magical. I'd stay here again in a heartbeat. ❤️

Beautiful views of the beach! Room was very clean. Place is in the heart of Destin, close to everything! Recommend renting the beach chair service. The cafe and tiki bar was a nice convenience too! Very minor inconvenience's… would like more than one dish towel for kitchen, only one side of the toaster works other side has wiring loose (fire risk) and would of liked to know the laundry area was community use. We were under the impression our unit had a private washer & dryer. Otherwise great stay!!!!

The kitchen fully equipped with everything you would need for cooking. The view is spectacular, the condo was very clean and comfortable. Wife and I stayed for 5 nights. It was quite the experience waking up with such a view. Location of the condo was also great. Restraunts, grocery stores, shopping ect. The beach.. definitely the most beautiful I have been able to visit. You have a personal beach with a gate code for access. The water is crystal blue. We saw dolphins as well. The area is very family friendly. If I get the chance to visit Destin again. I’ll be doing my best to book this exact location/condo. What an amazing time. Thank you all

From the moment we walked in, with soft light and music on, this condo was all we hoped for! It was clean and had all of the kitchen accessories I needed, as I did cook there a lot! A minor maintenance issue during my stay was addressed right away. Thanks to Real Joy's maintenance gal, Shea. Staff at Real Joy was very helpful and communicative!

I’m going say it was a great place with the exception of the sliding door going out to balcony was a board, but you could still get out, the glass just wasn’t replaced yet so it was hard to get the whole view with a board in the door. I would stay again. The view from the balcony was fabulous.

The property staff were very friendly and helpful. The room was clean, bed was comfortable, kitchen had supplies needed. Limited carts available at busy time of check in had to make several trips to room delaying time to relax and get settled in.

Condo:Condo was clean and everything worked well. We were provided plenty of towels and had the essentials to start with. Some of the dinnerware utensils had stains and a bit of rust but there were plenty of good ones for my family to use. Note: beach towels are not supplied. We enjoyed being on the very top floor. The view was amazing from the condo. Management provided clear instructions on check in and check out. Resort;The resort was amazing. Smoke-fre, plenty of space in the pools, and nice tiki bar and lunch option. My 3 year old had to practice her patience as one elevator was down (resort is currently upgrading/updating the elevators) but it was still faster than expected being we were on the top floor. Checking in and out was breeze. The negative comment I have is not related to the condo or management of the condo, the resort has a private beach section and we could not set up private umbrellas along the shore. The resort rentals are set up along the shore about 2-3 rows back. Only private set ups are allowed after the rental set up and we couldn't go into another section.Area:Plenty of restaurants around but not much little toddler activities. Target and Walmart are close by. Henderson State Park (4 entry) was beautiful and a great alternative if you want beach access without the crowds and to be along the shore.Overall, I would recommend this condo and would choose to stay again here!

Condo was nice, carpet coming up on one corner which could be a tripping hazard. Dining chairs were pretty hard and not comfortable and don’t understand only one garbage bag. Only one elevator working at check-in day, but got better. Would return to this property or others in Destin again.

We had a blast! This was our 3rd time staying at Pelican Beach Resort and our first time on the top floor! At first I got the Willie’s when I looked over the balcony but after a few minutes I was well adjusted and spent a lot of time with my binoculars watching the ocean. We did see a dolphins leading a boat which was beautiful. We seen a few sting rays from above one was HUGE such a cool experience. Overall this place is 10 stars! From the view to the tiki bar all the way down to the chair rentals. I had an amazing time letting the ocean throw me around like a rag doll and I can’t wait until our next visit. Also. We did not see nor hear of any sharks in Destin and the week we went the weather couldn’t have been more perfect. 😍

It was wonderful and exactly how discribed! 20th floor had a great view saw sharks and manta rays in water from room. Very clean and well stocked! All the staff was friendly. Great location to many of the favorite restaurants and even Walmart was just a short drive. Nothing I could find was damaged or needed repair in the room. Beds were comfortable and showers were clean and worked well. Nice beach vibe to the decor. If I was going to say anything to improve it would be to have softer towells ( very minor issue). Overall we would definitely book again!

Great location. Wonderful views. The master bath had an odor but I think it just needs a new shower curtain. Also would recommend renting beach set up in advance if you want the front row.

We were greeted by relaxing music & beach scenes on our tv as we entered the unit! It smelled fresh & clean. The kitchen was well stocked with cookware and dishes as well as small appliances. The beds were comfortable, including l the pull out couch! The view was absolutely spectacular!! The 20th floor is the place to be!! We enjoyed the beach directly in front of our unit and also enjoyed the pools & hot tubs. The indoor pool was a nice feature. It was very convenient having the Tiki bar on site & the beach service from the Tiki bar as we sat under our umbrellas on the beach! I highly recommend Pelican Beach Resort and unit 2006 for your next visit to Destin!!

Pelican Resort is great. 3 pools, Tiki bar, Cafe on-site. Right on the beach. Only negative was the mass amount of rented beach set ups put us far away from water. No tents allowed on their beach. Family had a blast. Highly recommend.
