Palms Resort #2916 Full 2 Bedroom

Amazing view and lighting, roomy for a family of 5, safe environment! Kid friendly and adults are still able to whine down! The rental was very clean and neat!!! And my 9month was safe on the balcony, the railing was secure and he couldn’t get above below or the through the bars and we were on the 9th floor. Nice pool area and a great coffee bistro on the resort (Good Vibes). Walking distance from Walmart and Joe’s crab shack and more! Bubba Gumb has great food as well. We’re booking again soon! Dolphin cruise is cool too, cheap on group on! Wonderful customer service and minor issues but resolved. Love this place so family oriented and cool gym!

The overall property can use a little updating like some fresh paint on the guest bathrooms downstairs and all the individual apartments but the unit we stayed in was nice and clean and well maintained they had everything you needed to cook with and the pool area was really nice!! The only problem I had was the walk up it’s was so long from the parking garage!! But over all it was a good experience!!

My family and I really enjoyed our stay at this property. Check-in process was easy. Kids loved the pool and how the beach was walking distance. There are plenty of dishes and utensils for a family of five to use. We will try and stay here again.

The property was great and centrally located. Although not directly on the beach, there is a shuttle that takes you there and back. Being able to sit on the balcony was great as well and there is a great view. The internet was very slow, so we weren't able to get anything on tv, but that was a small thing in my opinion. I had a problem with the oven not working, but RealJoy was quick to try to provide a solution. The room is exactly as pictured so you won't be surprised or disappointed. The staff at the facility was very friendly and helpful, although we had a hard time getting a cart to transport our luggage and groceries after we checked in. In the grand scheme of things, those are 2 minor issues. I don't know about value because this was my first time going to the beach, but I think the room rate was fine, but the fees were high in my opinion. I would definitely book with RealJoy again. One thing that I didn't like, which this in out of RealJoy's control, is at night people seem to race up and down the street (rev engines) and the noise was so loud that it would wake up my granddaughter. I still would give the experience a 10 out of 10.

Very well maintained property. Lots of amenities at the facility (restaurant, bar, pool, hot tub….). Great location. No real complaints and I would definitely recommend this property if you are staying in destin.

Overall, we had a great experience. Our first morning we found the coffee pot was cracked and we notified the management company. We had a new coffee pot within an hour or two. Other than the table in the dining area being different than the pictures (and the table top not attached to the base of the table) the room was as stated. Water pressure in the master bath was low compared to every other water faucet. The resort was clean, pool amazing, bar staff were nice. Restaurant was under construction and due to lack of staff was counter service only. Overall, we would definitely stay again.
