Located on 15 beautiful acres, The Palms of Destin Resort and Conference Center offers an unbeatable, upscale experience in the heart of Destin at an affordable price. As an exclusive guest you will enjoy Destin’s largest lagoon pool beneath swaying palms or simply enjoy our many amenities including kid's activities, fitness center, kids’ playground, tennis and basketball courts. You'll also be within walking distance of Joe's Crab Shack, Bubba Gump Shrimp Factory, The Back Porch (a Destin classic), Ruth's Chris Steak House, Jim-N-Nick's BBQ and Hooters.

The 11,000 square foot, 259,000 gallon zero entry pool is DESTIN’S LARGEST LAGOON POOL! You'll be blown away by the 5 dancing waterfalls, walking bridges and spacious lounging area. There's a 21,000 gallon heated pool, children's splash area and whirlpool spa.

The Palms of Destin Resort features a 2,265 square foot state-of-the-art fitness center including elliptical cardio treadmills, cross trainers, bikes and summit trainers each having a personal entertainment system.

The Palms of Destin offers full size basketball courts and two lighted tennis courts, with complimentary equipment available from guest services in the resort lobby. The Palms of Destin also offers lessons and clinics taught by USPTA and USPTR tennis professionals.

Seasonally, the resort offers a complimentary three-minute air-conditioned beach shuttle to the beach access beside the Back Porch restaurant. Additional shuttles run to Destin Commons and Harborwalk Village along with Henderson State Park for a small fee. Please inquire with the front desk for information on shuttle times. The Palms is a smoke free complex with an array of amenities. Some amenities are occasionally closed due to unforeseen circumstances.

All the excitement of Destin is just minutes away: choice of watersports, golf, amusement parks, and outlet shopping. One glimpse of Destin beaches and you're hooked. It must be the wide, white beaches and the famous emerald waters. Not to mention the fabulous fishing, the world's most beautiful beaches, addictive seafood and the full array of activities for kids of all ages and more fun to be found in Destin.

Close by is Destin Commons, a beautifully landscaped, pedestrian-friendly area and a great family venue where children will love to play in the interactive water fountains. Also, for the younger guests, a nautically/pirate themed outdoor playground features a 1,750 square foot soft play area with various creatures from the sea, slides, and a treasure chest! Destin Commons also has a mini train for the kids. Destin Commons features over 75 shops and restaurants, including Godiva Chocolates, AMC Movie Theaters and Bass Pro Shop.

Loved this condo - it was perfect for my family's stay in Destin. The furniture and beds were comfortable, the view and balcony were a highlight, and everything was clean. The resort is starting to feel it's age, but the pools and common areas are maintained well. My only complaint is that there were hardly any consumable items in the apartment. Detergent for one load of laundry, 3 rolls of toilet paper for 4 people on a 6-night stay, no oil or salt or anything basic for cooking. I would have liked to see a few more items stocked in the condo for guests.

Our stay was amazing! The place was very clean and the beds super comfortable. We loved the lagoon pool, it was perfect for my son and huge. The only negative I would say is that they didn’t have our reservation details at the resort but we just had to call the number and they emailed over the details to the resort within seconds. Also the “public beach” section across the resort is fairly small and can get crowded. The rest of the area was roped off and marked private for hotels. I would suggest you rent a vehicle and drive to other public beaches where it’s not sectioned off as private by the other hotels so it’s more enjoyable. Overall our stay was very relaxing, family friendly and amazing!

Place was extremely clean!!!!!! Like super. It smelt sooooo good. It has everything I needed to cook… I prefer cooking homemade meals. The sheets were all clean, no stains or smells. Everything was as described. Short walk to beach or a bus can take you. Gym on site. Super convenient. Cute coffee shop on site as well. I loved this place so much and will recommend to all my family and friends. No complaints. Very happy with my experience here.

This place was a last minute booking for a mini family vacation. Awesome place for families with young kids.
