This was our first time renting an Airbnb as a family and this spot was perfect! We enjoyed watching the sunset from the balcony. The pool is great and easy entertainment for the kids. There is a small public beach that is walkable from here. The apartment itself was nice and had all the amenities a family needed. The restaurant on property also had live music on the weekend so that was a nice touch of entertainment too.

I love staying at this resort while in Destin. It is near the beach and offers shuttle services. You won’t have to travel far to the grocery store or restaurant. It is a very nice location for a family.

We really enjoyed our stay at the Palms, the condo is well kept and clean, nothing outdated and came with everything we needed utensils/appliances wise in the kitchen. We were only a 5 min (about a 10/15 min walk) drive to the beach and there were plenty of drivable restaurants around the area. The property is super family friendly. Our kiddos LOVED the lagoon pool and there was always ample amount of seating. My only complaint was the service of the restaurant and the coffee shop. They seemed to always be occupied by their own conversations or the TV to service anyone. I ordered a coffee at the coffee shop one morning and she took my order and then put up a break sign stating she would be back. Wouldn’t you make the order first, then go? Other than that the condo itself and the other amenities were great! I always want to give people the benefit of a doubt. Hopefully the property manager can talk or re-train the staff on customer service standards.

Was clean, nice location, great for a couples get away, girls get away or small family get away. Water pressure and having hot water when taking a shower was the only issue but other than that, everything was good. Great location, near everything or quick drive. Disliked how the beach was divided between the hours of morning until bout 5. Can’t enjoy the beach like normal being boxed in a square flagged as public beach only.

We enjoyed the condo. It was clean and well stocked. I loved the shower heads, currently trying to order them myself. The only downside was the master bed mattress was more firm than I like. The husband slept great on it. Also the 2nd bedroom listing shows trundles, but its been made into a king. Its very high up, so some adults may have trouble climbing up. Kids were fine with it though. Couch isnt comfortable either, but all the furniture is in good shape for a rental.

We booked this trip for our family vacation and the property was great! The amenities are a great perk the kids loved the pool. Great beach access. Very close to everything! Walmart around the corner for last min items. The condo was beautifully decorated and very clean! The master bed was very comfortable and it was perfect for our stay. We will def recommend this host. Only thing I would request is there was no soap to wash our hands in the bathrooms and the slider door in the living room was very hard to lock- other than that what a great stay!

We had a great stay at the Palms of Destin. My children loved the pool and the beach was close by. There is a local Walmart a short drive away where we were able to get all our basic needed items and food. I would recommend this property.

Our stay was perfect. The apartment was spotless, the views are incredible. A short walk to the beach is all you need to start your day. The balcony is everything!!! You can listen to the nightly live music till 10 pm right from the balcony. I am planning ti stay here again. We loved our stay !

We had a great trip out in Destin! The unit was very accurate to the pictures, clean, and well maintained. The beach was right across the street, we saw some people even walking to the beach. Check-in was a bit difficult. Upon arrival, no one was at the front desk for about 25-30 minutes. I was able to access the unit due to the instructions sent to my email, however the path to get to our tower was a bit of a hassle for luggage/groceries. I own a 7 foot tall truck, so the property manager gave me an oversized vehicle parking pass. There were 3 spots reserved for oversized vehicles in the front of the complex. I’m glad they accommodated this due to my truck not fitting in their parking garage. The location could not have been any better. Plenty of shops and grocery stores nearby. We visited the harbor walk about 3-4 times during our stay which was about a 10 minute drive down the street. The unit was very clean and was all we needed for the stay. The balcony is a great addition! Thank you for sharing your home with us allowing for a fantastic little getaway at the beach. We look forward to coming back soon. Love from Dallas, Texas!

This rental is wonderful! The space, the furnishings, the management - all wonderful. An easy shuttle ride or walk to the beach and close to several restaurants, the property was perfect for us. And having the onsite washer/dryer was welcome, as we were on a long road trip. The problem is with the Resort - The Palms of Destin. We visited in May and it could have been that - because it wasn't high season - services you would normally expect at a resort didn't exist. There was no valet. We parked our own car, then slogged all our own suitcases, coolers, groceries, etc. on cheap roller caddies up to the 11th floor. We were on a long road trip, and our car was packed to the brim. Bonus - there are no automatic door openers on any of the doors - you know, the ADAA kind that will hold themselves open. It was difficult (to say the least) dragging two cheap roller caddies full of our stuff through doors that were determined to close on us. There was no concierge. We wanted to go to the beach, but couldn't find the shuttle driver. The front desk guy told me, "That pamphlet there, it has his number, you can call him." Um, I'm on my way to the beach...I don't have my phone...how 'bout YOU call him? Once at the beach, we only had use of the public beach - a narrow strip on an otherwise huge beach. Go early. There was no poolside service (waiters happy to bring you overpriced drinks). The pool area was great: clean, well-kept, and not too crowded. But take your own towels.

The condo was great. It was clean, it had everything we needed, and I loved the beachy decor. I would stay again, but during a warmer month. We went in late March and the large lagoon pool isn’t heated and it was too cold to swim in so the tiny heated pool and hot tub were always packed. I liked that this resort was full of families - no unruly Spring Breakers in sight. :)
