Located on 15 beautiful acres, The Palms of Destin Resort and Conference Center offers an unbeatable, upscale experience in the heart of Destin at an affordable price. As an exclusive guest you will enjoy Destin’s largest lagoon pool beneath swaying palms or simply enjoy our many amenities including kid's activities, fitness center, kids' playground, tennis, and basketball courts. You'll also be within walking distance of Joe's Crab Shack, Bubba Gump Shrimp Factory, The Back Porch (a Destin classic), Ruth's Chris Steak House, Jim-N-Nick's BBQ, and Hooters.

The 11,000 square foot, 259,000 gallons zero-entry pool is Destin’s largest lagoon pool! You'll be blown away by the 5 dancing waterfalls, walking bridges, and spacious lounging area. There's a 21,000-gallon heated pool, children's splash area, and whirlpool spa.

The Palms of Destin Resort features a 2,265 square foot state-of-the-art fitness center including elliptical cardio treadmills, cross trainers, bikes, and summit trainers each having a personal entertainment system.

The Palms of Destin offers full-size basketball courts and two lighted tennis courts, with complimentary equipment available from guest services in the resort lobby. The Palms of Destin also offers lessons and clinics taught by USPTA and USPTR tennis professionals.

Seasonally, the resort offers a complimentary three-minute air-conditioned beach shuttle to the beach access beside the Back Porch restaurant. Additional shuttles run to Destin Commons and Harborwalk Village along with Henderson State Park for a small fee. Please inquire with the front desk for information on shuttle times. The Palms is a smoke-free complex with an array of amenities. Some amenities are occasionally closed due to unforeseen circumstances.

Close by is Destin Commons, a beautifully landscaped, pedestrian-friendly area and a great family venue where children will love to play in the interactive water fountains. Destin Commons also has a mini-train for the kids. Destin Commons features over 75 shops and restaurants, including Godiva Chocolates, AMC Movie Theaters, and Bass Pro Shop.

Exactly like the pictures. The building is a little dated, but the unit is in excellent condition. Our favorite part was the huge balcony. I also loved that they called to check on us. Had no complaints, but it was still nice they called. Would recommend.

Brought my family here for 5 days to enjoy the best of what Destin has to offer. The lodgings were exactly as expected. Liked the convenience of the property and the close vicinity of restaurants and beach. The property had very comfortable beds and was very spacious for a family of 5. Everything was so nice and clean.There was lots of things to do and enjoy right on site. Walking distance to restaurants and shopping.Only take away was there was only one elevator working we had to take the stairs a lot. Food on site was amazing.

Great condo with clean complex

Very happy with the condo, the photos and reviews lived up to the expectations. Very clean, provided with everything that was listed. Always had a place to park. Pool area is plenty big although the large pool was very cold and only the smaller one was heated. Hot tub was always crowded. The complex overall is dated with mismatched decor but kept very clean, very friendly staff. Restaurant and bar area is chaotic most evenings, lots of noise with karaoke, bar not really a relaxing adult atmosphere. Destin has some good shopping and beautiful beach just a mile up the road is Henderson Park.

Perfect choice for a family

Great condo with a great location. Just inside Destin and close to everything including Henderson Beach State Park. Loved the big patio for enjoying the beginning and end of each day. The grounds were well kept and the pool area was really fun!

My family and I enjoyed our stay. Short drive to the beach, stores, and restaurants. Unit had everything we needed. We also enjoyed the balcony and pools. Only con is the amount of walking from parking to the unit and one of the elevators being out of order most of our stay.

Enjoyed our stay. Everything was perfect and as shown in photos. there were plenty of towels, dishes, blankets, and pillows. veiw was beautiful. Kid friendly place, the kids loved the pool. I loved the room service the resort provided. This location was by a great beach, mall outlet, tons of restraunts, arcade, mini golf, water park, and go-kart racing for the kids. HarborBay village was a lot of fun. I would recommend Real Joys vacation locations. I have to give this a 5 star review.

We had an amazing vacation in Destin with our family with 2 small children. The place was practically immaculate and spacious. They had all the amenities that we needed, and even in the kitchen there was almost every tool/appliance we needed to prepare our own meals (eating out can get expensive!!). The balcony was a nice place to wind down especially in the evening, and the lagoon pool was fantastic. And the location was perfect! Everything was close, such as the Walmart, some dining locations, and minutes from places to have fun (the Harborwalk, Destin Commons, etc.). Highly recommended, would return!

We had a great time in Destin. Our room was just as described. It was immaculate and spacious. We had a great view of the pool and surrounding areas. Our room had everything we needed for a comfortable stay. We absolutely loved it! Real joys communication was impeccable. We did not need a thing while we were there, but if we had Real joy made sure that we had a way to reach them at any time. We would love to come back every year to the same room.
