Located in Villas of Frangista, Our Happy Place is a beautiful newly constructed 5 bedroom, 4 bath home with a huge open living area and all new furnishings throughout! There are TWO king master suites, both with en suite baths, sitting areas, and unique artwork! Additionally, there's a queen in the first guest room, a queen in the second guest room, a twin over full bunk, and a sleeper sofa in the third guest room, sleeping up to 12 guests comfortably. All bedrooms and the living room have wall-mounted, flat-screen TVs. This stunning home also features granite counters in the kitchen and bathrooms. You'll be just 700 yards from the gorgeous white sands of Miramar Beach! When not enjoying the beach, take a stroll to the community pool only a couple of blocks away. The Villas of Frangista is a quiet, gated community with cobble stone streets, a community pool and some small ponds for the kids to fish in. Located in the heart of Miramar Beach, this community is just minutes from the sugar white sands, close to favorite local restaurants, and nearby some of the best shopping in the area. This lovely neighborhood is practically next door to the Seascape Golf Resort, which offers tee times to members of the public and has superior tennis facilities. Wander down the beach to the Whale's Tail or Surf Hut for a bite, take a dip in the lovely community pool, or catch some rays on the sugar white beaches.
*Max 4 vehicles allowed: 2 in the driveway, 2 in the garage. To maintain a beautiful neighborhood for all to enjoy, the HOA requires the following from all residents and renters: NO RV’s, buses, trailers, jet skis, boats, motorcycles, scooters, all-terrain vehicles, or go-carts are permitted in this subdivision. Our Happy Place is located about 2.3 miles from the Silver Sands Outlet Centers and is convenient to both the action in Destin and Grand Boulevard Towne Center with incredible eateries, upscale shopping and a park with pop up fountains at its center.
Close by is Destin Commons, a beautifully landscaped, pedestrian-friendly area and a great family venue where children will love to play in the interactive water fountains. Also for the younger guests, a nautically/pirate themed outdoor playground features a 1,750 square foot soft play area with various creatures from the sea, slides, and a treasure chest! Destin Commons also has a mini-train for the kids. Destin Commons features over 75 shops and restaurants, including Godiva Chocolates, AMC Movie Theaters and Bass Pro Shop.
If you are near Miramar Beach, the snorkelers in your group will love the new artificial reef called Dolphin Reef, deployed in 2017. Located just 685 feet straight out from the Miramar Regional Public Beach access (by Pompano Joe's), it is becoming a haven for sea life. Each of the 4 snorkeling reefs comprises 40 acres of permitted sea bottom. The Dolphin Reef is at a depth of 12-20 feet. We strongly recommend that snorkelers use a kayak, paddleboard, or other flotation device when visiting the snorkel reefs. Sea conditions can and do change quickly and often. Enjoy!

We had a wonderful stay with a group of 7 adults and 3 kids, and this home worked out perfectly for us! The house was clean, neat and well-maintained. One of the biggest highlights was that every bedroom had its own bathroom-such a game changer when traveling with a large group. The location is great, short walk to the beaches and a short drive to various restaurants and activities. All the provided beach gear was super convenient and much appreciated. First, let me say that usually I think the photos make the house look much better than it actually is. However, this was not the case this time. At 250 Miami, the photos did not do the house justice. The house was spacious, clean, had lovely linens on the beds and a fantastic workable kitchen. We were nine people and we cooked all of our meals at the house. There was a Webber grill which we used every night. The house is a short walk from the beach, the cutest coffee shop and a great ice cream shop. I suggest doing your shopping at Winn-Dixie, which is just a mile and a half down the road and has pretty good prices. The pool is a quick walk around the corner and a good size. We drove so we brought our beach wagon, chairs etc. But if you don’t wanna bring those things, you can get an umbrella with two chairs on the beach for $65 a day.- Reviewed On: 4/11/2025

We very much enjoyed our stay the month of February! The home is so spacious and nicely decorated, clean too! Real Joy checked in on us a couple of times just to make sure if we needed anything. We cooked many meals at the home and also used the new gas grill. Kitchen was well stocked but I did bring a crockpot from home. Lovely gated neighborhood to take walks in too. We had to change our plans to stay near Tampa because of the hurricanes, and the Destin/Miramar Beach area was highly recommended. We had never been there before, but after reading the Happy Place description and reviews and looking at the pictures, we decided to try it. We were not disappointed. The house was in a perfect location for us to walk to and from the beach every day. The sunsets, sunrises and daytime experiences on the beach were phenomenal! The house is beautiful and equipped as described. We also enjoyed being in between Seaside and Destin and drove to these locations and along 30A often. Shopping was easy to access for groceries and beach supplies. The house accommodated our family perfectly! Everyone said it would be a place we would like to visit again. We had a wonderful family gathering at the Happy Place! The close proximity to Miramar Beach, Seaside, Destin and other beaches makes it a very desirable location. Great house! We’ve been coming to Destin and the beaches of South Walton for years. The house was perfect for our stay with six adults. The house is very spacious which makes it very comfortable. Everyone felt like they could spread out which was nice. We would have loved having a golf cart, as the walk from the house to the sand was a little over eight minutes. Not a bad walk at all, but could have made it nicer. The only slight inconveniences that did not mess up our stay but need a little attention are: the kitchen could use more cup towels oven mitts and/or hot pads. Location was perfect!! Close to restaurants/shops/ and the beach. We rented a golf cart to get around and that worked great! The private beach access was very convenient! The house was perfect for our family of 11 and accommodated everyone comfortably. I should have asked what the starter pack consisted of exactly to better understand what I needed to bring/purchase. The only critique is that the kitchen was not stocked with hot pads and the propane grill was borderline non-usable (igniter button didn’t work, grill knobs falling off, propane tank ran out after 10 min of use). We were impressed with how spacious & clean the home was. As we opened the front door we were greeted with soft jazz music which was a nice touch. Loved that this home came with two Master Suites. There were plenty of kitchen utensils & amenities provided. The beds were very comfortable. Would have been nice if all the rooms had room darkening curtains. It was nice to have a private beach entrance across the street about a 3-5 mts walk. My family enjoyed the restaurants and Destin’s beautiful beaches. My first impression of the home was that there is so much room! Every room was easy to move around in, even the bathrooms and closets. It smelled like new. It was the perfect size for our party of 8. Conveniently located near a coffee shop, restaurant, and surf shop.I wish the street the house was on had sidewalks. The area is busy, so we had to step into yards and driveways when there was traffic until we could get to the main road. I suggest bringing extra soap and toilet paper.- Reviewed On: 10/15/2023

House was just as described in listing and by the pictures. This was some of my family's first time in an Airbnb and it did not disappoint This is a great house for a large family. Everyone had their own room and bathroom. Very clean and well stocked. Ac worked very well and it was in a great location.- Reviewed On: 6/5/2023

The property was beautiful, clean, and fully equipped to accommodate the 5 couples in our group for our weekend stay. The property is in a beautiful, quiet neighborhood and provides easy access to all local shopping and dining destinations and private beach access was just a short walk away. The house was beautiful and very clean. The walk to the beach was peaceful and easy. Local coffee shop right around the corner. We had an issue with the dryer and they were quick to try to fix it. Plenary of dishes and cooking supplies. Big fridge and pantry. I would 100% recommend this house and RealJoy to anyone. I can’t wait to stay here again!- Reviewed On: 3/18/2023

We stayed in Our Happy Place for the month of February and had a great time visiting with family and friends. The house was beautiful and in a great location. We could walk to the beach easily and close to several restaurants. We would definitely reccomend this house to stay.- Reviewed On: 3/1/2023
