This charming 3BR/2BA home in Terra Cotta is newly updated and is only a short walk to the sugar white sand beaches and emerald waters of Destin. Ocean Breeze Cottage features a spacious open floor plan with a large flat screen TV and a cozy fireplace in the living room. The fully equipped kitchen has granite counter tops and stainless steel appliances. On the first floor you will find a queen guest bedroom and a bunk room with a full-over-full bunk bed. Climb the stairs to the 2nd floor king master bedroom with a sitting area and an en suite bathroom with dual vanities. Also on this floor is the twin-over-twin bunk area, helping this home sleep 10 comfortably. Take a short stroll to the community pool or the gated beach access less than 600 yards away. Ocean Breeze Cottage will have you coming back every year to make everlasting memories.

Terra Cotta Terrace is a luxury development of Mediterranean-style homes in the highly sought-after Crystal Beach area. The neighborhood has private gated beach access just across Scenic Hwy 98. Amenities include a community pool, tennis/pickleball courts, and a sand volleyball court. This ideal location is a short distance from several beach front restaurants and a few miles from Destin Commons and Silver Sands! Close by is Destin Commons, a beautifully landscaped, pedestrian-friendly area and a great family venue where children will love to play in the interactive water fountains. Also for the younger guests, a nautically/pirate themed outdoor playground features a 1,750 square foot soft play area with various creatures from the sea, slides, and a treasure chest! Destin Commons also has a mini-train for the kids. Destin Commons features over 75 shops and restaurants, including Godiva Chocolates, AMC Movie Theaters and Bass Pro Shop.

All the excitement of Destin is just minutes away: choice of water-sports, golf, amusement parks, and outlet shopping. One glimpse of Destin beaches and you're hooked. It must be the wide, white beaches and the famous emerald waters. Not to mention the fabulous fishing, the world's most beautiful beaches, addictive seafood and the full array of activities for kids of all ages and more fun to be found in Destin.

If you are near Miramar Beach, the snorkelers in your group will love the new artificial reef called Dolphin Reef, deployed in 2017. Located just 685 feet straight out from the Miramar Regional Public Beach access (by Pompano Joe's), it is becoming a haven for sea life. Each of the 4 snorkeling reefs comprises 40 acres of permitted sea bottom. The Dolphin Reef is at a depth of 12-20 feet. We strongly recommend that snorkelers use a kayak, paddleboard, or other flotation device when visiting the snorkel reefs. Sea conditions can and do change quickly and often. Enjoy!

It was great, but would not recommend the private beach simply due to it being a farther walk then described and the amount of stairs down to the beach! That wasn’t a deal breaker though the public beach is short drive and easier to get to. Place was in a great location and very spacious for our family!

Honestly the picture don’t do the house justice. looks way better in person on the inside. wasn’t a far walk to the beach but we rented a golf cart this year and it was great! not a whole lot in the house/kitchen so if you plan on cooking, might need to bring your own stuff. Overall the house was great.

We had a great time! Beach access was only about 10 minutes from the house, easy walk. The house met our needs, and being pet friendly was a plus. Host was responsive and helpful with any questions that we had. My only complaint about getting to the beach was that there were only stairs, which made it a little challenging getting a wagon up and down when it is full of beach stuff, but it was manageable. Other than that, the private beach was great.

This has been an excellent choice, a very comfortable and clean house, the spaces are excellent and perfect for a relaxing vacation, perfect if you don't want to drive to the beach because you can walk and in a few minutes you will be on a beautiful beach, the neighborhood is very clean and pleasant, in general we would stay there again. We had a blast at the pool and at the private beach. I would definitely recommend it to anybody who is interested in a nice stay

The property looks just as beautifully pictured. The home is located in safe, quiet, community - only a short walk to the beach and had everything we needed as a family of 4 (2 adults and 2 children) to feel comfortable. The host was communicative and friendly. The home is also near many restaurants, coffee shops, family friendly attractions including the Fishbowl, the Track, and approximately 20 miles out, the Gulfarium. My children enjoyed the community pool in the subdivision, along with the basketball court, and tennis court. We would definitely stay here again and recommend the home to others considering visiting Destin.

Peaceful neighborhood. Definitely recommend renting a golf cart to get around . We parked our vehicle and rode around on cart during our rental & it made it easier to get to beach and kept our vehicle clean. Pool & volleyball net are very close. Faucet on front porch made it easy to rinse off feet before entering home .
