Great place for a family vacation! Only negative was the lack of open beach area right outside the resort. Umbrella jockeys would take over the beach area bright and early. But otherwise just fabulous!!

Love this place! Great location, great value, clean house, great amenities. Would absolutely stay here again. Easy walk to the beach, pool view, right next to the grills, perfect sleeping arrangements for our family of 5. Secure area and friendly staff. Love it and can’t wait to go back

Clean , comfortable with live music from the balcony at the pool. Not a ocean view but not a deal breaker. Bed was broken by previous renters but maintenance came asap. Fixed problem and all was good.

Our stay was wonderful. The property is in a great location, clean and a fun environment. There are two heated pools and two hot tubs. They had a movie night by the pool one night and live music another evening. Everyone was friendly and welcoming. The beach directly in front of the Islander is BEAUTIFUL!
I messed up by entering the unit 12 minutes earlier than I should’ve, but Real Joy was gracious and accommodating. So sorry- the front office told us to go ahead and go in! The place was clean and comfortable. Thanks for letting us enjoy your home!

We really enjoyed staying at this property for our first trip to Destin. The location was nice and convenient. The laundry room and trash chute were just steps away from the room. The pool area was clean and there was only a 3-4 min walk to the beach. The area was also very quite. We would for sure stay here again on our next visit to Destin.

You will not be disappointed!!! The condo was perfect and so was The Islander. We will definitely be back. Our room was also beautiful with a view of the pool. We booked too late to get a beachfront view but I was extremely happy with what we got.

Very happy with the property and also with the area. Three minutes to the beach (condo key opens the beach gate). The Islander is a nice condo complex, well-kept, pools in good condition etc. The beach area is excellent, and there are chairs/umbrellas set up. Our unit had a full kitchen and all the dishes/pans etc. Two bedrooms with two twin beds in the 2nd, perfect for our teenagers. Check/in was quick and easy at the management office which is 10 minutes from the property. Very satisfied, had a great time here.

It was beautiful and the pools were heated and just super clean outside and inside. The only thing I have to say is I had to wipe down a door where ketchup had been slung and also the other doors had makeup handprints on them. That was gross. But otherwise, very, very clean and plenty of towels and very nice. Cleaning people need to wipe down the doors and kitchen some though. Drain in the guest bathroom didn’t drain. One of the twin beds has a shot mattress.

Amazing!!!! Easy access to the beach!!!

The condo was nice. The check in process was the only inconvieniece, you have to go to the property management to get keys, it’s about 2 miles away from condo. Other reviewers have said they had to keep up with keys. We had key cards (like hotels) and everyone has to have them to unlock the gate to the beach.

Great size rooms, ideal location to shops, restaurants and more. I absolutely loved that the beach was right behind us to walk to and from. One slight worry from a false complaint but Jessica was quick to notify and resolve the matter for us. Highly recommend!
