Nautilus 1102

We absolutely loved our stay at 1102 Nautilus in Fort Walton, booked through RealJoy Vacations! From the start, the communication was excellent — the staff who texted us were so friendly, helpful, and provided clear, easy-to-follow instructions that made check-in a breeze. Everything felt so personal and thoughtful. The condo itself was perfect for our family. There were plenty of towels, beach chairs, beach toys, and even a stroller and fan — all conveniently stored in the balcony bin. We were so happy to find everything we needed, from a toaster and blender to a coffeemaker and fully stocked kitchen supplies. We even left behind some brand-new toys to pay it forward for the next guests! What made this trip truly unforgettable were the priceless memories we created here. My 5-year-old kept calling it “home,” and we were honestly so sad to say our final goodbye to such a warm and inviting place. The location on the first floor with direct access to the pool and beach was incredibly convenient — no elevators or stairs, just step outside and go! The nearby rinse-off station was also a lifesaver for cleaning off sandy feet. We had friends staying in the same condo complex, but ours was by far the best! Thank you, RealJoy, for an amazing stay. We had a wonderful stay at this beachside condo! The unit was clean, comfortable, and had everything we needed for a relaxing vacation. The view was absolutely stunning—waking up to the sound of the waves and sipping coffee on the balcony was a highlight of every day. The beach was just steps away, and the location made it easy to get to local restaurants and shops. Communication with the host was smooth and helpful. We would definitely stay here again and highly recommend it to anyone looking for a peaceful getaway by the ocean!

I always read reviews to get extra insight. These are the things I feel like I should share. 2nd condo from the beach access & directly across from the pool. Extremely short walk. Only a sand dune for the view, but distance was fantastic. The showers are in the master & the bunk room. The queen room has to use of those showers, but there is a 3rd half bath. It is impossible to keep the sand out. That’s a price to pay on the 1st floor right by the beach access. The restaurants are about a mile down the road so not really within walking distance for most groups. There is an entire wall of glass so beware of that if traveling with small children. The kitchen has an ice machine that was great. Enough to supply an ice chest all week. The coffee maker is a regular drip machine. We were able to cook everything we needed with what the kitchen supplies.

Great ground floor condo right on the beach! No stairs or elevator to deal with. Heated pool right out the door. The condo had plenty of room, lots of bathrooms, clean, well decorated and great patio to soak up the sun if it’s too cool or windy on the beach. Everything you need for a relaxing beach vacation!

We really enjoyed our stay at this condo! No beach view since a dune blocks your view, but it's a trade off for no stairs, and it's literal steps from the pool and beach! We loved our stay and there were extra beach chairs and toys on the porch.

We drove 12.5 hours through the night and we got very lucky and were able to check in to our unit 2.5 hours early. RealJoy reps were very responsive and nice. Unit 1102 does come with 2 beach chairs, umbrellas, beach toys, a pack and play and a stroller. Very short walk to the beach!! We had a great stay and will likely book our next Vacation through RealJoy!

I had knee surgery in early May so I was very happy that this was on the ground floor and right in front of the pool. It was the perfect spot for us. The bridge to the beach was only a few steps away so we could easily get to the beach at any given time. There's a little convenient store next door so we could make runa to get snacks or drinks as needed when we didnt feel like making the short drive to Publix. The kitchen had all the dishes and utensils we needed for cooking, making coffee and eating. We had plenty of space for my family of 8 and sitting on the back patio listening to thewaves was very relaxing. I even fell asleep out there a couple of times. I would say there were a couple of issues but they were so minor to us that I didn't bother to report it. Since I'm sharing this review I'll share here. The bottom bunk is loud. I don't know if it's because of the way my kid was getting into the bed but it just made so much noise that we all knew every time they were getting in the bed. Lol. The other thing is that the tv in the front room would sometimes freeze or not turn on. Outside of those very minor things everything else was perfect. At the end of our stay, my 7 year old told me she wasn't ready to move out because she loved it so much. I hope to stay here again in the future.
