This place was amazing. Easy quick walk to the beach and a very nice pool.
Easy 15 minute drive from most of the popular restaurants and grocery stores.
Very nice and comfortable rooms/furniture.
Hosts were very polite and responsive.
Only recommendation would be to bring a collapsable cart for the beach. Made our walks so easy. Everything else was great!

I would definitely stay here again, however there are a few things you should now.
1. The private beach access is very convenient, however I was never informed that Tents were not allowed. We had a tent and had to leave after I was told they were not allowed.
2. There is not a ramp for strollers.
3. The public beach access is close enough to walk to it. 5 - 7 minutes walk from the street, there you can have a tent and ramp for the stroller.
In general we had a great experience. We enjoyed our stay and I would recommend this property to anyone.

Property was as described. Private beach access was nice, as was community pool. There were a lot of families staying, so lots of kids in the pool and hot tub. When we realized we only had one dish towel, a text to the property manager was all we needed and we had three delivered within 10 minutes. My brother said the AC didnt work, but it wasnt too hot that we NEEDED it. Just opened some windows. Would stay again!

First time in Destin, FL. This was a nice cottage retreat within walking distance to the beach! Cottages are in a gated community, we felt safe at all times, and the cottage was very clean when we arrived.
The only downside was, the refrigerator is not cooling very well and there are no smart TV's in any of the rooms. Other than that, we still give it 5 Stars! Highly recommended! Would definitely stay here again!

We own vaca properties/rentals ourselves (since ‘09: Fl beach 2/2 condo & NC mntn lake 3/3.5 home)- so we look w/critical assessment - and updated our own, that we purchased furnished- then updated.
Our stay was great; we enjoyed the home & amenities. Great management co. Our primary suggestions are:
1) Add black out blinds on upper and lower East bedrooms- would save on energy bill and keep rooms darker & cooler with morning sun. Tops prior
2) Needs new/coastal theme furniture/beddings in bedrooms and armoire/tables in living/dining rooms! Such a beautiful home and cul de sac and the furnishings don’t compliment this!
They are comfortable and sturdy- but take away from the “setting”
New smart TV’s in bedrooms also.
And definitely the area rug in dining and lower bath look very tired and worn- do not look clean.
Aside-
The last 2 nights there was a loud Mexican fiesta party off prop, but right behind the prop fence by us- went on loudly into early am F Sat nights and on Sat am.

Management was easy to work with. The rental does need some updating. Chair in master bedroom is broken. TVs in secondary bedroom are maybe 12 inches, super small. No hand soap in unit. And no beach towels in unit.
All in all, the unit is nice. The location is awesome. Would rent, again but would like to see a bit more attention to small details.

The accommodations met our needs and was neat and clean as stated in the contract. Was very pleased with the cleanliness of the condo and its location. The kitchen was well equipped and had nice cooking utensils, silverware and sharp knives. It had a crock pot. The beds were comfortable. No problems with Wi-Fi or T v's. The pool was nice but small and the week we were there everything was extremely crowded .. beach, restaurants and pool. I might add our worst experience was not with the condo but with all the traffic on our way down. We had 2 days of stressful travel.

Great set up for families. Our kids loved the bunk/trundle room. Master bedrooms have very firm beds. Be sure to bring a wagon to haul your stuff to the beach. It can be a tough walk if you are trying to carry beach supplies. Beach staff are very friendly and keep chairs/umbrellas well maintained. Things to bring: laundry supplies, dish detergent, scrub sponge, extra roll of paper towels, extra roll TP, bar or liquid hand soap, disinfecting counter spray or wipes.

Great location, Beautiful beach, home was very accommodating. Only negative is that the home does get a bit warm in the day and you can’t turn the A/C down below a certain temperature. So if you’re hot natured bring a fan or two.

We were very happy with the rental. The location was perfect and close to everything pool, beach and shopping. Our kids could freely go outside and we didn’t have to worry about cars because it was a gated entry and very quiet.
