Enjoy vacation rentals with resort living and beach access without beachfront prices! Luau, in Miramar Beach, was built in 2006 and sits on the highest ridge on Sandestin and has wonderful views. It's a short walk to the beach from the pool deck! The access is beside the Beach House restaurant (formerly Elephant Walk). Luau amenities are fabulous! There's a 4000s.f. saltwater pool with swim under waterfall, kiddie pool, fitness center and grilling area. Find an amazing array of things to do at Baytowne Wharf. Plenty to keep the kids happy – burn off some energy at the Adventure land Playground, test your courage at the Gulf Coast’s only zipline or ropes course at Baytowne Adventure Zone. Go back in time at the Carousel, or head to the future at the Blast Arcade and laser Maze or the Boondocks Arcade. Want to get your shop on?? You’ll find a varied selection of shops right here in the Village, from a surf shop to funky clothing, shoes and accessories and everything in between, a wine shop, toy store, general store, even an old-fashioned candy shop.

The snorkelers in your group will love the new artificial reef called Seahorse Reef, deployed in 2017. Located just 715 feet out from the Topsail Hill Preserve State Park access, it is becoming a haven for sea life. Each of the 4 snorkeling reefs comprises 40 acres of permitted sea bottom. The Seahorse Reef is at a depth of 13-18 feet. We strongly recommend that snorkelers use a kayak, paddleboard, or other flotation device when visiting the snorkel reefs. Sea conditions can and do change quickly and often. Enjoy!

The resort and our room were wonderful. Everything was clean. I do have a few suggestions! 1. An extra blanket or 2. There only 1 think blanket for our daughter for the pull out couch. 2. Beach chairs, beach towels, umbrella and small cooler. We bought these items when we arrived and we left them for the next guests so hopefully they were still there when the next family arrived. 3. Some info about the resort. I.e. explaining the TRAM, explaining what all is available for anyone staying in Luau II, explaining how the door lock works (we didn’t know if the deadbolt switch was turned a certain way that even when your door closed it wasn’t locked).

We loved our weekend stay. Room was great, access to pool and beach were perfect! Balcony is a parking lot view which I was aware from the description and other reviews. Finding the building and parking garage were easy with the clear instructions given ahead of time and also the gate attendant told us where to go. The pool was amazing!! Room was very clean. Would definitely come back it was awesome especially for the price.

Enjoyed the stay at the Luau! Easy to get in our buildings, parking, ice. Access to main roads for restaurants, Walmart, etc. easy in and out. Would like to suggest that children’s wristbands be available. 4 bands was given but grandson lost his bc it was too big for his wrist. Wished free use of beach chairs and umbrella was given to guests for the luau. Will definitely stay again!

I stayed at luau 2 for one month in January 2024. The unit met all of my expectations. The check in and checkout was very simple and realjoy was very proactive with their communication which I was nice. I never needed to contact them for any reason because they seemed always anticipate any questions I might have and they would give me all the information I needed without me even asking the question. The only minor room I could find for improvement is that maybe realjoy could work with local businesses to offer discounts to their guests. I've stayed at properties managed by other companies that did work with local businesses to offer discounts to their guests so I know this is a tactic that management companies use. I'd think realjoy could use some improvement in that regard.

We really enjoyed our stay here. The beach was a close walk, the pool area is beautiful & clean, restaurants also within walking distance and it was easy to get in and out of the resort when needed. I did enjoy the outdoor area to rinse the sand off everything before going back up to the room. We would definitely consider staying here again!
