Welcome to Dune Our Thing, a serene ground floor 1BR/1.5BA beach cottage in Hidden Dunes of Miramar Beach that has it all - location, amenities, and privacy. The cottage has a particularly rare location, cornered by a glistening swimming pool on one side and a long stretch of one of Hidden Dunes' water features on the other. All the natural beauty of Hidden Dunes acreage is easy on the eyes and easy to enjoy via Cottage 208. Its bright interior boasts white cabinetry in the kitchen, bathrooms, and entertainment consoles which are nicely set off by cool tile floors and granite counters. There is a washer/dryer in the unit for your convenience. There are plenty of windows that allow in abundant natural light, and you will love the screened, furnished porch, the perfect spot for enjoying a meal or drink outdoors. The master bedroom has a king bed and an ensuite full bathroom. There is a half bath for guests and a sleeper sofa in the living room, accommodating 4 guests comfortably. Hidden Dunes offers several on-site amenities such as multiple pools, a hot tub, a lake with a fishing pier, a horseshoe pit, a basketball court, professional quality tennis courts, a playground and outdoor grills. Hidden Dunes Destin is located directly on the Gulf of Mexico which means that nothing stands in the way of you and a relaxing day on the sugar-white shores of the Gulf. Dune Our Thing is located close to the Silver Sands Factory Outlet, the nation’s largest designer factory outlet featuring more than 100 name-brand designer stores. Also close by is the Destin Commons with incredible eateries, upscale shopping, a park with pop-up fountains at its center, and favorites like Bass Pro Shops and Hard Rock Cafe.

Grand Boulevard Town Center is a pedestrian-friendly, shopping and dining complex just off Emerald Coast Parkway, convenient to both SanDestin and Miramar Beach. For the high-end shopper, the center offers everything from Fusion Art Glass Gallery to Brooks Brothers Country Club. A number of boutiques, such as Hello, Sunshine and Magnolia House, carry fare you can't find anywhere else. Dining options include Mitchell's Fish Market, P. F. Chang's China Bistro, and Cantina Laredo Gourmet Mexican Food. In 2013, Walton County’s first movie theater opened at Grand Boulevard’s Town Center – the state-of-the-art Boulevard 10 Movie Theater.

If you are near Miramar Beach, the snorkelers in your group will love the new artificial reef called Dolphin Reef, deployed in 2017. Located just 685 feet straight out from the Miramar Regional Public Beach access (by Pompano Joe's), it is becoming a haven for sea life. Each of the 4 snorkeling reefs comprises 40 acres of permitted sea bottom. The Dolphin Reef is at a depth of 12-20 feet. We strongly recommend that snorkelers use a kayak, paddleboard, or other flotation device when visiting the snorkel reefs. Sea conditions can and do change quickly and often. Enjoy!

We had a great stay! The place is up to date and very clean. Very close to the pool but quiet. It’s towards the front of the complex so we drove to the parking lot and walked across to the beach! Super quick, and you can totally walk we just chose not to. The exterminator came by one morning but was very polite and in & out quickly. We would absolutely stay again.

We absolutely enjoyed our stay at this Hidden Dunes Resort beach cottage. The cottage was just as expected. A short walk to the beach, and the pool is right outside your door. The cottage was so cozy and will be our vacation go to for many years to come. The resort is in a great area and everything is within a short walk or drive.

The place was exactly as advertised, clean, and fully stocked kitchen. It walks straight out to the pool which was a positive for me. You can walk to the beach in a couple mins and they have go cart service that you can call or if they're driving by they'll ask if you want a ride (free) which was a nice touch.

The most beautiful beach cottage with lighted screened porch, view of pool, and lots of tropical plants/trees. It was a very short walk to the Beach which was paradise. Super easy check in and check out. Host very friendly and available if needed. Highly recommend for a couple or entire family, you won't be sorry!!

The condo was very clean , bright and open. Just a short walk to the beach. Pool was beautiful but not heated so we did not use it. Hot tub was warm and comfortable. Would definitely stay here again.

Very nice home just like the photos! Great price for 3 weeknights. Better than paying for a pricey hotel room with less space. Wish I remembered to bring inflatable beds though. Sofa beds are not usually comfortable.

You can tell that the space was recently updated. The update is tasteful and the space is very comfortable. The flooring, tile shower, counter tops, use of ship lap, stainless appliances, etc. all add to a great place to stay. Steps from one of the pools on site and walkable to the beach.
