Relaxing and peaceful. Property was clean and looked exactly like the pictures. Property was well located- at the end with good views of the marina and water- beautiful sunrises. Close proximity to the beach and shopping areas. We loved it! Only improvement could be the rooms could have blackout liners as sunrise was quite early.

The Hideaway was amazing. Although it wasn’t on the beach, which we knew already, everything was within driving distance with the golf cart. Really need experience as Harbourtown was about a 3 minute Golf cart Dr. to all of the restaurants, shopping, games, and fun of the complex. They had a zip line going across the entire Harbour town with all kinds of fun for young kids to enjoy. The adults had a great time as there were a restaurants and bars in Harbourtown, which made it a lot of fun. When we read reviews from the Harbor Hideaway, they said it was easy access to the beach, which it was. That’s all you had to do was drive under highway 98 through the tunnel, still on the Sandestin property, and there was plenty of parking for all the golf carts and a short walk to the beach. Make sure you bring your own ice chests, which was the only thing that they didn’t provide. They had chairs, umbrellas, boogie boards and blowups at the condo to throw into the golf cart to bring to beach.

This is very nice and conveniently located to everything. The golf cart was great and I would recommend it to anyone. The place was clean and spacious. We were advised before our arrival that there would a company there to put a new dishwasher in and the time frame. They were there and gone in that time frame. We also enjoyed Baytown Wharf, able to travel to the beach by golf cart , which was less then a 5 minute drive on the golf cart. Our boys enjoyed the basketball courts , as they are both basketball players. The beach was great for evening walks. The place was great and would recommend it to everyone. Thank You!

Everything went great. The issue we had was the patio umbrella was broke but a email was sent and they responded quickly. They offered to bring another umbrella right away but we didn’t spend a lot of time on the deck, as there was many activities to do. The place was great and conveniently located for our needs. Our condo at real joy was beautiful. Centrally located at Sandestins Golf Resort, it was easy to take the golf cart to places such as pools, golf courses, and Baytowne Wharf. We will definitely be back!

Place was clean and well kept. Management company was very responsive. Only issue is with golf cart. First, I wouldn’t list it in the title as it looks like it is included in the rental, not a separate charge. Secondly, the instructions online and in the binder in the rental are inaccurate. It says it is in a parking spot with the address number when it isn’t. However, overall great experience.

This was an amazing place!! Beautiful views, clean home, and it looked exactly like the pics!! The only thing I would say is that we thought the golf cart came with the place but we had to pay extra. It wasn’t a big deal because we truly enjoyed the home and it’s amenities and would highly recommend!!!

As pictured. Quiet upstairs condo, clean, plenty of bath towels and wash cloths, had dish soap and detergent. Bring your own laundry detergent! Washer and dryer were clean and worked well. Golf cart as pictured and was fantastic to get around in. Can take it to the beach and grocery store as well as restaurants. Highly recommend!

The property was great location, ease of activities around us. Very very crowded beach but we talked to a local about Topsail. Place was clean and very comfy. I wasn't expecting to have to supply trash bags and toliet paper so we did get caught in bind ?. Maybe a tip on getting to beach guess golf carts can go on some sidewalks not others. Some roads but need to drive on shoulder. All in all nothing we couldn't figure out. Amazing place and we will be back. Appreciate the opportunity to get to go here.

We were extremely happy with our rental. The check in process was extremely easy. They provided all directions needed and checked in on us periodically to ensure our stay was going well. The condo was clean and exactly as the pictures/described. The location in Sandestin Golf&Beach resort was great, easy access to all amenities. This condo has one of the best locations in all of Sandestin. It is wonderfully decorated by the owner and very well maintained. Wonderful view out the patio windows of the Marina and the Bay overlooking the golf course. A small pool is very close by (and access to two additional pools nearby) and parking right in front. It is an upstairs unit so there are about 15 pretty steep steps to go up and down especially with luggage so if you are mobility challenged this might not be the unit for you. The condo is very well stocked and the freezer has an ice maker. The only addition I would add to the kitchen is a larger sauté pan. We make a large batch of eggs so we don't have to cook each morning and we had to use two pans since there wasn't one large enough. Also providing a sponge to wipe town the stove top and counters would have been helpful rather than the cloth dishrag (we bought our own). There was also no laundry soap provided for the washer (again we had brought our own just in case). There is no grill. The beds were super comfy and there is plenty of sitting space in the living room. Good Wif and TV choices. There are beach chairs but they are kept outside in a patio area and some are starting to show some rust. There was a hair dryer in the master bath although the listing said no hair dryer would be provided. We loved the golf cart and especially since it has its own paint scheme with the name of the Condo on it, so it was easy to locate in the parking areas. Received numerous emails saying to keep the cart clean but yet no materials were provided to do so so all we could do was brush it out by hand and the use of our own personal beach towel. The cart's parking spot is under a tree that drops leaves, acorns and sap onto the cart especially the front seat. Thank you for allowing us to stay in your wonderful unit. Look forward to returning.

We are very happy to know that you thought this well stocked unit is wonderfully decorated and very well maintained with comfortable beds and ample living room space, and you enjoyed the wonderful view, golf cart, good Wi-Fi and TV choices, and parking and the small pool being so close. We will forward your suggestion for a larger sauté pan to property managers. Laundry detergent and sponges are normally not provided. These would be the decision of the guests to provide. As mentioned in the rental agreement, housekeeping only provides a limited amount (starters) of such items as trash bags, toilet paper, dish detergent, and paper towels. Guests must provide any additional items needed for/during their stay. We apologize for any inconvenience. Thank you for choosing Real Joy.

Property was in terrific shape. Check-in was easy. The only thing that we did not like was that we had to supply our own beach towels and some of the neighbors were loud. That has nothing to do with this property. Definitely recommend. Price was very fair.

First trip to Destin and it was all we had hoped for. Real joy was very easy to work with and everything was just as shown. Room was renovated and all rooms were spacious. Loved the large closets and the golf cart was a life saver. Can’t wait to come back!

I came with my son's for a few days of golf and the location could not have been better. Wonderful views at night looking over at the Wharf lights and waking up to the beautiful fairway and bay from the porch. Highly recommend taking the golf cart for the short, safe ride on resort roads to Baytown Wharf!

We loved our stay at Hidden Hideaway! We thank the owners for having us. The condo was perfectly clean, the beds comfy, and everything worked as it should. We stayed in March so it was off-season and the resort wasn’t very busy at all. We can’t wait to book again! Rates vary quite a bit by season so off season (not summer) was the perfect rate for our budget.
