Gulf Winds East is a low-rise complex of only 52 vacation rentals just across the street from Miramar Beach, featuring private beach access and a community pool. You are close enough to the Gulf to to hear the waves from the balcony. These lovely townhomes are within walking distance of Captain Dave's restaurant, and a short drive in either direction to Destin Commons or Silver Sands Outlets.

Awesome Place!
The location was spectacular! 1 min walk to the beach. Restaurants and things to do still close. Price was excellent for 3 nights right across from the beach. The staff was very responsive by text which was so helpful. Place was clean and extra towels for a family of 5. Pool was close for the kids, can park your car right in front, easy loading. Extra fan because the A/C didn't cool enough in the heat. Small view of the beach from the balconies! Overall, will definitely come back and stay. The A/C didn't cool the place enough on a 78° day. The stove was hard to cook on because the electric pads didn't change based on the dial. The king bed is old so it makes a lot of creaking noises. Overall very good. Our main bedroom confort bed cover was not clean, so we washed it and it was perfect then.

The check in process was easy. We arrived earlier than check in time, and didn’t have anything to do. I texted the property manager, and they let me have the access code to the beach. Great location right across a small road from the beach. The house was clean, with a small leak in one of the bathrooms, but the manager asked if they could fix it while we were on the beach which was fine. Great family home! We enjoyed this location thoroughly. It’s a few steps to the pool and just across the street from the beach. Other reviews mentioned the home being older and having an outdated shower head, which it is does have creaky floors but there was enough hot water to bathe the entire family and wash clothes so I have no complaints! The condo is exactly like the picture..

Nice place! We didn’t want to leave! The unit was well stocked, clean and comfortable and we would definitely choose it again. Really nice that each bedroom had it’s own full bath and a nice half bath downstairs. Although there was no beach view, it was a quick walk across the street to get there and the cars always stopped to let us pass. We loved our stay at the apartment. It has everything you needed and was very clean. We were able to walk to the beach everyday.
