Both bedrooms are located on the second floor, offering a peaceful retreat after a fun-filled beach day. On the first floor, enjoy a cozy living area and an updated, fully stocked kitchen—perfect for preparing family dinners. There's also a convenient built-in desk area, ideal for remote work or planning your next adventure. Relax on your private balcony with peek-a-boo water views, or unwind on one of the two patios. Gulf Winds East is a low-rise complex in the heart of Miramar Beach, featuring private (gated) beach access and gazebo for its owners and guests and a community pool. You are close enough to the Gulf to hear the waves from your balcony. These lovely townhomes are just off Scenic 98 where you can enjoy a morning walk or bike ride and near numerous beach shops, Captain Dave's restaurant, coffee shops, and a short drive in either direction to Destin Commons or Silver Sands Outlets.

Just 3 miles away is Destin Commons, a beautifully landscaped, pedestrian-friendly area and a great family venue where children will love to play in the interactive water fountains. Also for the younger guests, a nautically/pirate themed outdoor playground features a 1,750 square foot soft play area with various creatures from the sea, slides, and a treasure chest! Destin Commons also has a mini-train for the kids. Destin Commons features over 75 shops and restaurants.

Nearby, you can also find Whole Foods, Publix and a Winn-Dixie.

All the excitement of Destin is just minutes away: choice of water-sports, golf, amusement parks, and outlet shopping. One glimpse of Destin beaches and you're hooked. If you are near Miramar Beach, the snorkelers in your group will love the new artificial reef called Dolphin Reef, deployed in 2017. Located just 685 feet straight out from the Miramar Regional Public Beach access (by Pompano Joe's), it is becoming a haven for sea life. Each of the 4 snorkeling reefs comprises 40 acres of permitted sea bottom. The Dolphin Reef is at a depth of 12-20 feet. We strongly recommend that snorkelers use a kayak, paddleboard, or other flotation device when visiting the snorkel reefs. Sea conditions can and do change quickly and often. Enjoy!

The best nights sleep I've had in years, the master bed was extremely comfy. RealJoy was prompt in responding to any questions. The private beach was an quick walk, fun even for snorkeling. The unit was nestled in the corner, so a little more private at least for the timing we went. Loved the outside shower to get as much sand off as we could. The stairs in the home were very toddler-friendly. We wanted to stay another night and luckily there was an opening, was an easy process with Realjoy. Lots of things to do in the area for a drive in the vehicle (go carts are not allowed at unit). It was nice to be able to access the cleaning supplies to clean up after ourselves, which most places keep theirs locked up. Huge plus to be able to do our own laundry. We also felt like it was a very safe area. I would definitely stay here again!

Great Condo

Loved it!!!

Our experience at the condo was great! It was clean, neat and up to date. The decor made me feel like it was summer time and put us in a happy mood being there. They had everything we needed from dishes in the kitchen to wash cloths and towels. The master bedroom was large and spacious. Great experience and would definitely recommend! Also we can during the Thanksgiving holiday and it was a little chilly so the on site heated pool was a plus!!

Wonderful break at Gulf Winds East

My family and I spent the most wonderful time at Gulf winds East. It was very relaxing they were very clean and ready to help if I had questions. The beach was magnificent the other people that stayed at gulf winds east were very friendly.the other children played with our granddaughter on the beach with each other.. our accommodations were the best and looking forward to coming back next year .

The rental experience was a 10/10. It was professionally completed. The only thing that happened while we were there ... on Saturday my husband was packing up to leave on Sunday and the people in Unit 25 had an older child shoot off a Roman Candle. It messed up, made a loud bang, and went in the parking lot toward all the cars. We have never had anything like this at Gulf Winds East and we've stayed here in various condos for 33 years! I didn't think you were supposed to shoot firecrackers around the condos. I was really disappointed in that. If you could check into this, I sure would appreciate it. My family loves to stay here and we are looking at two weeks next year!

Great Location and Accommodations

We travel to Destin almost every summer for some time away. This condo was spacious and clean. Even with this unit being in the back of the complex, it is still just steps away from the private beach gate access. It may be a 1 -2 minute walk. The property was also clean and well maintained. The location is also very accessible to shopping and restaurants. Family friendly. Very happy and would recommend.

Amazing place!

We loved every bit of our stay here. The place was clean and had everything we needed. It is also bigger than what it looks in the ppictures. The team responded to our requests promptly. wonderful family style condo

This was our second stay at Gulf Winds East. Last year we were in #44. This year we stayed in #34 which was so much better! The beds were fairly comfortable and the condo was very clean and private. If you have kids, they will love the bunk beds. Our kids loved the lights on them so they could read their books at night. Beach harmony was very accommodating about getting us in earlier then our check in time since we arrived early. We were so appreciative. It's a great location to the beach and our family loves the sidewalks that are family friendly to walk places.

Destin Experience

We arrived about two hours early and the lady in the office let us go ahead and check in since our room was cleaned and ready. The condo was nicely decorated and had everything that we needed for our stay. There was even beach chairs, sun umbrella, and beach mats that we took to the ocean. The property was very clean and quiet. Overall, a pretty good place to stay! The only thing that might have made it better would be if it was located directly on the beach, instead of across the street. But in all fairness, we knew the layout before we rented and the two minute walk wasn't bad. For the price we paid, very good experience!!!

Great Stay As Usual

This is the third time we have stayed in Gulf Winds East - always staying in a different on. Can't beat the location from beach, the friendliness of the staff and owners, the ease of renting and checking out. I wish they had blinds on the big window in the dining room and thicker curtains in the bedrooms to shield the light in the morning.
