Close by is Destin Commons, a beautifully landscaped, pedestrian-friendly area and a great family venue where children will love to play in the interactive water fountains. Also for the younger guests, a nautically/pirate-themed outdoor playground features a 1,750 square foot soft play area with various creatures from the sea, slides, and a treasure chest! Destin Commons also has a mini-train for the kids. Destin Commons features over 75 shops and restaurants, including Godiva Chocolates, AMC Movie Theaters, and Bass Pro Shops.

If you are near Miramar Beach, the snorkelers in your group will love the new artificial reef called Dolphin Reef, deployed in 2017. Located just 685 feet straight out from the Miramar Regional Public Beach Access (by Pompano Joe's), it is becoming a haven for sea life. Each of the 4 snorkeling reefs comprises 40 acres of permitted sea bottom. The Dolphin Reef is at a depth of 12-20 feet. We strongly recommend that snorkelers use a kayak, paddleboard, or other flotation device when visiting the snorkel reefs. Sea conditions can and do change quickly and often. Enjoy!

There is only 2 things need to be upgraded The wifi needs to be stronger, it’s too weak to reach out the balcony and the basement. Secondly the balcony needs an umbrella. Townhouse next door has an umbrella but idk why we don’t have it?? Everything else was perfect. We definitely be back when we visiting Destin again.

VRBO was steps from the beautiful white sand, also the beach service was a great perk, 2 umbrellas and 4 chairs included in the stay. There are no outlets in the master bath, so that is a little strange, especially if you want to blow dry hair, but there are 2 more bathrooms and a half bath to pick from if needed. House was well appointed, had everything we would need for a 3 night stay. We are talking about renting this VRBO again next year. Enjoy!

Our stay in Destin, FL was amazing. This townhouse was perfect for our getaway. The location on the beach was the biggest deal for us and this place didn’t disappoint. The views were amazing, the beach was beautiful, and the house accommodations made it even better. The spacious 3 story house gave us all plenty of room to sprawl out and the beautiful kitchen and balcony/back porch area was perfect for our gatherings. The private beach access just steps away made this whole trip worth it. The only thing I would have done differently was bring a memory foam topper for the master bedroom mattress. It was way too firm for our liking, but definitely not a deal breaker. If you get a chance to visit the Emerald Coast choose RealJoy for a great stay!
