I was very hesitant to stay here because I wanted to stay where there was a beach in front of our hotel. This place proved me wrong- the beach shuttle is so simple and it was a game changer not having to lug beach chairs around! I actually prefer this over a beachfront hotel. I cannot recommend this place enough- the resort was amazing- there were so many amenities and activities and with the HarborWalk being right there- we barely left. The room itself was spacious and beautiful and we loved having two balconies- we loved being able to sit out there and watch the boats coming and going from Crab Island. Realjoy was amazing too, they were quick to answer questions. This has been an amazing stay and it was more than we could have hoped for.

The condo itself is great, and so is Emerald Grande! There is easy access to restaurants, bars, and shopping. This property is not located on the beach. I knew that ahead of time. I did not like the limited access getting to and from the beach. Staying here means no beach sunrises or sunsets, as the shuttle only runs from 9-6. Also, there was no communication through VRBO from the property management. When I needed to resolve signing my rental agreement, I finally called the phone number sent to me through a text from them telling me the rental agreement had not been signed yet, instead of through VRBO. I also received a misinformed text from the management company about the beach being closed for 2 weeks. I asked about that by calling Emerald Grande directly, where they told me that was not true. I would stay again, but with different expectations.

Location, Location, Location

This is a lovely condo in an amazing location. Convenient to all the fun on the Harborwalk. There was a lot of road noise, but bring your earplugs and you should be fine. The beds are very comfortable, and we all slept great. If you are looking for a nice quiet relaxing vacation with walks on the beach this is not the place for you. However, if you want to be convenient to lots of great restaurants and bars, as well as stuff for the kids to do this is the condo for you.

Our stay was really good. The host was available and called and checked to make sure everything was going good. The condo was spacious, beautiful views and convenient to being close to the Harborwalk. We would definitely stay again.

Beautiful Unit

The unit was absolutely beautiful and very clean and we had no issues with it except for the road noise. Not a huge issue, but if you like to relax on the balcony with your morning coffee or in the evening with a glass of wine, the noise from the cars below is a bit of a distractor. Otherwise it was a wondeful condo with great amenities and a great location if you like to take advantage of all that the harbor has to offer.

We had a great stay in a very nice condo. The only problem we encountered was with getting our luggage to the condo. Only 2porters and Emerald Grande would not loan us a buggy even though 6 cars were either unloading or waiting in line.

My vacay

Our stay was amazing, the property was well kept and the apartment was simply breath taking. Home away from home, clean kitchen and bathrooms very spacious and comfortable and the location was great. We were right on the board walk and enjoyed live band and entertainment also a Mardi Gras parade at night. Our stay was bitter sweet cause we had to return to reality (work) right lol. If you looking for somewhere to stay definitely try this place out you are going to love it.
