Snowbird Season runs from November thru February, on a monthly basis. To prepare a qualified quote, select your arrival date (must be the 1st day of the month) and the departure date (must be the 1st day of the month). Alternate dates must be pre-approved. The well-equipped kitchen allows you to prepare anything from your morning coffee to a home-cooked meal. The condo features a king bed in the master bedroom, two full beds in the guest room, and a queen sleeper sofa in the living room, comfortably accommodating up to 8 guests.

El Matador complex is beautifully landscaped on 12 acres featuring lush palm trees and manicured lawn. The resort has access to beachfront soft white sand with natural surf. Many shopping establishments, fine restaurants, and a variety of water sports are available. Amenities include two pools, tennis, pickle ball, basketball courts, a fitness center, whirlpools, saunas, meeting rooms, and more.

Okaloosa Island has a fruitful fishing pier – a recent guest caught over 20 fish including ladyfish, blue fish, and a small shark!

Welcome to The Boardwalk! We are located directly on The Gulf of Mexico, on the beaches of beautiful Okaloosa Island! The Boardwalk is your one-stop destination for fun, day and night! Relax on the beaches of The Gulf of Mexico while sipping a frozen concoction prepared at our outdoor bar upstairs at The Crab Trap, stroll the boardwalk and visit Islanders Coastal Outfitters for new beach attire, or grab a frozen snack from Pino Gelato. When day turns to night, Al’s Beach Club is our premier club and burger bar. Hungry? We've got that covered as well! Not technically “beachfront” as it’s a short walk across the resort but even so, we loved it and enjoyed our stay. The resort was out enough from the busy part of town but not too far of a drive. Loved that we had 2 pool options and the beach. Clean and plenty of towels, etc available.

The place is great. It has everything it says it will have. They probably could have some cooking products (like salt and pepper, pam spray, etc) and coffee filters… but they still get a 5 star bc they were upfront about it, and are super quick to answer questions, easy to work with, and the unit is perfect!!!

Spring Break Vacation

We had an amazing time at El Matador! The condo is right next to the basketball court and the pool so our kids loved that! The management company was very helpful and communication was awesome, our toaster broke and within a couple of hours they had a replacement. We booked our stay for next year’s spring break already!

We really enjoyed our stay in this condo. When we got there, there were no starters (toilet paper, paper towels, soap, etc.), but somebody called to check in with me to see how our check-in went and they were more than accommodating trying to resolve to this issue! Obviously this was not a big deal, but their proactive and kind attitude about it made for a great experience. You do have to either walk a little ways to the beach, or you can drive and park in some of the parking spots close by, but this was also not a big issue for us. Overall, we had a great time and would definitely stay here again!
