We had an amazing stay at this place! The house was clean, spacious, and well-equipped for our group of 11 people. One of the best features was the two washers and two dryers, which made laundry so convenient during our stay.
The location was fantastic- just a 5–10 minute walk to the beach, which was a huge plus since public parking at the beach is often full. The house also provided plenty of towels for our whole group, as well as lots of floaters for beach fun.
Overall, this place had everything we needed, and we highly recommend it for large families or groups looking for a comfortable and convenient beach getaway!

Queen bedrooms were smaller than anticipated. We brought a pack & play, hair dryer and iron as one is not listed on amenities. There were some on site. Lower bedrooms did not cool like the 3rd floor but otherwise perfect for our family of 13 and a baby. The beach was a 5 min walk and wonderful!

We had a family vacation with 15 of us (8 adults, 7 kids) and Jilenna’s place was perfect! It was super clean, had quality furniture/bedding, and was truly just a short walk to the beach. The hosts were very responsive. We had a small issue with the ice maker not working, but the hosts offered to have maintenance come out asap (we just got bags of ice instead). The house is 3 stories with 2 washer/dryers, and plenty of space on the main floor for the entire family to hangout. All appliances etc were high quality and easy to find. Beautifully decorated too. Overall would highly recommend!
Just 2 minor inconveniences - The bed in the small bedroom upstairs is super noisy, so my husband and I woke each other (and our toddler) up throughout the night. Also the entire first floor smelled like stale cigarette smoke. Perhaps the people before us had a smoker that used the garage and the smell got inside? Not sure but it did bother my niece who has severe asthma. Otherwise, all was great!

This property was perfect for our family. We truly enjoyed our stay as we spent most of it in the townhouse. The owner provided all the basic necessities and more. This place was incredibly clean and well decorated. We even received a welcome card and placements for the Thanksgiving holiday. The elder family members had challenges with the stairs but it didn’t stop us from Al coming together in the family room each evening. Our only negative is that the owners had the thermostat locked so we couldn’t make any adjustments without calling for it to be unlocked. The good thing is they responded quickly and unlocked it. Al in all, we definitely recommend this property and would stay again.

I highly recommend this home. I recently took a family girls trip to celebrate my mothers bday and we had an awesome time. The owner left a Nothing Bundt Cake surprise in the refrigerator for her celebration. That was so very sweet! Not sure how they knew that is her all time favorite cake place! 👌🏽. The house is very close to the beach, maybe a 5-7 minute walk. We drove each time, the parking next to the beach fills fast but there is additional parking, which was great! This home, in Miramar beach, is a great location. It is about 15-20 drive to the action in Destin. We chartered at boat to Crab Island and the caption picked us up 2 miles from the house. (@paradisepontooncharters is the way to go… I have gone out with him twice this year, and always a great time!!!!!!!!). I

Within walking distance to beach, but due to no side walks we decided to drive the 2 minutes! House came with an awesome wagon, beach chairs and inflatable tubes to use at the beach!! It was very clean and well stocked with cooking utensils. I recommend bringing extra toilet paper, paper towels, and trash bags— you’re given one for each room at check in. Overall perfect spot for a fun bachelorette trip!

This is a great house. Check in and out was so easy. It’s a short walk from the beach. And the beach wasn’t too crowded. There is an amazing bathroom on the top floor. The host let’s you know there are basic supplies when you arrive and you will have to get the rest (such as toilet paper, paper towels, dish soap)

The home is gorgeous and very spacious. It is walking distance to the beach and close to stores, restaurants and shopping. My family really enjoyed our stay. If I have to list a complaint it would be that the WI-FI was very spotty. We reach out to maintenance he provided a temporary fix but it didn’t last long. However, it don’t stop us from enjoying Destin. To be honest it was good for us, because we really got to unplug from work. This home does not disappoint!!

Spacious, contemporary home within walking distance to the beach! Decent sized pool that we used almost daily. We had an issue with the doorlock, but they were easy to contact and fixed it appropriately! It was great having two sets of washer/dryers as well (one on ground level, and the other on the third floor.)

The house looks just as good as the pictures. All the beds and sitting areas were super comfortable. The beach was a very manageable walk away and it was gorgeous. I traveled with my 2 daughters (6 and 8), husband, parents, 2 teenage nephews, 1 teenage niece and my brother. The house was more than spacious enough for all of us. This property was truly a hidden gem!! My entire family raved about how beautifully decorated and spotless the condo was. It was well stocked with everything we needed and the owner even left little holiday goodies and extra treats for us. The welcome basket (wine, cheese, summer sausage, and handwritten note) was an awesome touch that meant so much to all of us! The condo was just a 5 minute walk from the beautiful white sandy beach and a close 5 minute drive from all of the shopping areas and eateries. This was my families first time to Destin, and we spent our Christmas holiday here and the property owners went out of their way to put up a small tree and lights and decorations and even left gifts for our smaller children. There were 14 of us in total and we all had more than enough room and space to move about comfortably. It's very spacious and modern and the master bathroom is like a honeymoon suite. :-) The pictures don't do it enough justice. There is even an outside grill. What more could you ask for? We are already looking into booking to go back for Spring Break!! Great property!!

Most places were were outdated with old furniture with no style. This place is new, very nicely furnished, clean and has an excellent floorplan for family gatherings or groups. The owners had a nice welcome basket and note. My wife thought she forgot to pack my Apple Watch. The owner and office were very helpful in searching the unit. We did find my watch packed in the suit case when we arrived home. We would definitely make this our place to stay for our family outings in Destin.

Acres Away is an incredible home! From the moment we walked in, we were struck with the 'wow' factor this place provides. The home is still very new, extremely well-maintained, and meticulously clean. The furnishings are well-built (not cheap and flimsy) and sturdy, clean, and comfortable. The beds and linens are beautifully made and slept very well.
Having the washer/dryer combo on both the first floor and the third floor was awesome- we washed a lot of our beach towels and it was nice to be able to get laundry done quickly. Speaking of the beach, it was a nice walk each day, and the wagon provided made it very easy to move all our things to the beach at one time.
Although we were at the beach almost daily, we did spend one rainy day in the townhome playing cards, watching movies, and just having fun. There were 11 of us (6 adults and 5 teens) and we never felt like we were 'on top' of each other. The second floor living area is very large and has a main area with the TV, and behind it a cozy nook that became a popular sitting area to just hang out and chat with each other. There are TVs in all bedrooms and in the living room, and all were equipped with Roku (which was an extra touch). The Wi-Fi is very good and was easy to connect to our phones.
The kitchen is VERY well stocked with dishes, pots, pans, utensils, silverware, and appliances. We ate at home every night but one, and had everything we needed for a variety of types of meal-prep. The outdoor gas grill was also used and worked well for us. The pantry space and empty cabinet spaces were great for all the food we bought and stocked while we were there. It was nice to be able to keep clean, uncluttered counters since we were able to have everything put away!
Perhaps the best things about Acres Away are the special touches that the owners provided. When we arrived we were met with a goody basket, a handwritten note from the owner, and gourmet cupcakes freshly prepared for us. In fact, Penny dropped by to restock pans and drop off hot pads, and we had a wonderful chat with her and her husband about Destin and the area. It is evident from the level of attention to detail in this home that these owners care very much about making Acres Away the very best it can be and really want their visitors to have a great experience. Most certainly, when we return to the area our first choice for accommodations will be Acres Away!!

This is a beautiful home that is just a 5 min walk to the beach. Perfect rental for a large family or a multi family group. There was a very thoughtful hand written note along with refreshments upon our arrival. My family enjoyed every aspect and we will definitely book this place again.

Very beautifully decorated new townhouse. Love the thoughtful details by the host: extra toothbrushes/toothpastes, cupcakes for 6 kids in our group, and extra towels. Dayof check-in the owners of the townhouse stopped by to say hello with a small gift. Great hospitality!
