Absolutely loved our stay here. Was perfect location. A few things didn't like the deck door was hard to open. Definitely needs some work. Didn't think the deck chairs were that comfortable for sitting. Never got the tv in tv room to work. Tried several times. But other then that we loved it.

Everything was very nice. We enjoyed every moment. The condo was clean and it was nice to see the pool kept clean and checked every day. Some places do not do that. The washer seems to be on its last leg but it managed to pull through. It was a lovely condo.

Perfect spot for our group of 6. Comfortable beds. Amazing views of pool and beach on balcony. Quick walk to the beach. Great pools. Our door code did not work on arrival, contacted through Airbnb and the issue was resolved immediately!

Absolutely amazing condo! Resort had lots of amenities for our family, we only left the resort for trips to grocery store and to eat dinner out. Very close walking distance to pier where they hosted nightly activities. Very Fun!! Condo was exactly as described!!

I brought my parents and two of my children, seriously the best rental I’ve ever stayed at. It’s quaint, but has so many perks. Parking was so easy, the condo is in perfect proximity to EVERYTHING… I will be staying again, sooner rather than later.
Had a hiccup of the door code not working, but host was super responsive and got us a new code.

We loved our stay! Destin West is our favorite condo complex and the unit was awesome, perfect for myself, my husband, and our 10 year old. We were missing the property wristbands and they notified us before we checked in and replaced them promptly! The unit was well decorated, well stocked with towels and dishes, and the balcony had great views!

The property next door had an outdoor wedding with reception, which was very loud. Also, the convention center across the street had a car show, so there were loud cars every where. Would check the event schedule prior to staying there again.

This is a great condo. It is in the perfect location on the beach access side. There are so many restaurants both ways. The lazy river was across the skywalk and a nice change of scenery to hang out. There is also a grocery story a few minutes away.

The location was beautiful and the access to all the pools was so much fun. I would definitely stay again. They have all the pots and pans you would need. They do not have any spices or anything like that so you will need to bring all that from home. We really enjoyed our stay.

We absolutely loved staying here! The access to the beach was great, the pools and lazy river were all great as well! The room was very clean and plenty of space for all of us. We had two adults, two 19 year olds, 10 year old and 18 month old. We had plenty of room in the condo. Our 10 year old did say the sofa bed was uncomfortable and noisy so she opted to just sleep on the couch and not the pull out.

This unit was perfect for my family of 5. The proximity to the beach was fantastic. We also thoroughly enjoyed the resort amenities (especially the heated pools, hot tubs, and lazy river.) The unit itself was clean and tidy. Everything was in working order.

What a wonderful spot! Our family of 5 had the best time at this property. The unit itself was very very clean, which I always appreciate! We appreciated the king size bed and the kids loved the hallway bunks. It was great to have the two bathrooms during our weeks stay. But the best thing about our stay was the view! The furniture on the balcony was very comfortable. I enjoyed my breakfast and coffee out there every morning! I definitely leave 5 stars for this unit. We were sad to find that not all of the pools were heated, as advertised, but we know that’s not a direct reflection of this unit’s management. The big beautiful pool out our balcony was too cold to use. Luckily, the smaller pool near the unit was heated and our kids enjoyed it. The lazy river and pools in that area of the resort were also not heated. Thankfully there was so much to soak in and enjoy, the cold pools were easy to over look.

Outstanding place to stay on destin beach. All you do is go downstairs and the beach is there. Patio view is great, woke up every morning to enjoy the view with a cup of coffee. Family of 5 stayed here and were confortable. Everything is near by what you want to do.

We really enjoyed our stay at Destin west gulf side! We stayed June 13-19 2021 and experienced beautiful weather and fabulous gulf waters! The view form the balcony was amazing! The kids enjoyed the pools and lazy river. The Alexa in the unit got lots of attention from our 7 year olds! Very nice touch. The decorations were nice and airy and the unit being stocked with everything you need is a huge plus! My only complaints are there were a couple towels that were old and worn and the bunk bed area has no tv. Destin west is a great resort in a fabulous location! Although the traffic was bad at times, we could easily walk to shops and restaurants. I really appreciate the complimentary beach chairs and umbrellas but they put them way too close. It was uncomfortable to be so close that we were touching umbrellas with the people next to us. Hopefully they will change their set ups in the future. Overall a lovely vacation!

This is a lovely place. Nice view just a short walk down to the beach down the sidewalk. I always love a place that includes the beach chairs and umbrella, makes for less stuff you have to take. My guest enjoyed the pool and lazy river. It is also located within walking distance to the Boardwalk where there are several restaurants, The Crab Trap is one of our favorites. The bedroom is comfortable with plenty of storage. The only draw back was there is not really any where for your guests to unpack. We had to leave our stuff in the suitcase and and put it under the bunk beds. We will be back

The location in the complex was PERFECT. On the same level as the bridge to the Bay side with the Lazy River/Pools and the elevator was steps away from our door to get down to the beach. The "Beach Set Up" extra perk is AWESOME. $40.00 daily value! We only got to use it 2 times but awesome! We were in town with another couple so the extra parking pass and wrist bands came in handy to keep us all together. The Condo was very well decorated.. Looked like a fully stocked kitchen with everything needed to make food, I didn't-I was my vacation. Lots of room for two adults and we had another couple with us for a short time in between. Having an Alexa in the condo already negated the need for us to bring our own.. Another awesome perk. They also offered an array of buy one get one activities which we did not have the opportunity to use but a younger resident would eat them up! Something for everyone...we didn't have time. THE PROPERTY was AWESOME. Very well kept, maintenance folks frequently seen coming and going. The staff at the Lazy River were friendly and informative. LOVED floating on the river. All the pools were clean and beautiful. This is just me, but I would have appreciated a few creature comforts: Hand held shower heads, and longer fan pulls. I would rent this condo again in a minute. The Water Pressure during showers got to be a joke. It would be strong for a couple of seconds then wimpy, then strong, then wimpy. It was a test of patience.

Great unit, great price, great view and perfect location. The apartment is big enough for 3 adults and 2 kids tops, it has everything you need and great to have the second bathroom. The beach is very clean, white sand and it’s a great plus to have the free umbrella and beach chairs included since you can save for a week of rentals.
Will come back for sure!

We really enjoyed our stay and can’t wait to visit again. The pools at all three properties were great, no to mention the beach and proximity to many restaurants within walking distance. Pedestrian bridge, parking, elevator and stairs are all very close to this unit. Great for us and the kids.
The beds were very comfortable and everything we needed, including laundry, was there for us.
This unit is close to the garbage chute which is great, but you may hear the pickup at 5:30am 😀.

pros Beautiful beach, comfy beds, easy check in and out, works well with emails and keeping in contact. Worked well on getting us rebooked because of coronavirus(Nicole is nice) Cons Dirty rugs in kitchen was disgusting, the dishwasher had dried junk all over it maybe it was just the old food from previous renters, you only get one roll of toilet paper per bathroom for a week,we have stayed 5 times on this property and this one seemed less at home compared to the others not sure why...maybe just me :) .

We stayed at Destin West for a recent cheer competition. It was the perfect location for us. Easily accessible. Close to boardwalk. Area was clean. The only advice I can give to someone renting here, is decide what is more important for you. The lazy river or beachfront. If you want to enjoy the beach, make sure you book beachfront. Otherwise, you will have quite a walk to the beach. Overall, it was perfect for us and we will definitely rent here again.
