At Destin West Osprey you can enjoy extreme water fun in the 5000 square-foot pool with a kiddie area, a 700-foot Lazy River, a heated pool with a waterfall, or one of two hot tubs. The Heron building boasts its bayside pool that is heated year-round! Enjoy your view of the Choctawhatchee Bay, while the kids enjoy the lazy river. Cross over the sky bridge to the Gulf beaches without worrying about traffic. Charcoal grills and picnic tables on both the bayside and beachside make grilling out inviting and fun. As a guest at Destin West, you can enjoy access to the pools, bars, and restaurants located at the Island Beach Resort at Destin West beachside.

Beautiful, clean space in a fantastic location. Really enjoyed the property - especially the bay and the lazy river/pool areas. Beach was safely accessible albeit a little bit of a hike. Not bad, though, and much easier than trying to find a public access. My only issue was that I failed to read the fine print on what would be available to us. We flew in and were not prepared with some of the staples (toilet paper, paper towels, hand soap, etc). While they do provide a starter kit as stated, it was not much considering a family of 5 and a one week stay. We were able to pick things up but, due to the restriction of luggage and flying, spent the last day trying to give them away so we weren’t wasteful. It was an extra expense we didn’t plan for, but not a big enough “ding” to take away from the overall enjoyment of the property and our surroundings.

This condo was in a great location - walkable and the crosswalk to the beach was amazing. Condo was very clean and spacious. The amenities there were awesome - lazy river, pools, hot tub, etc. Kitchen was well stocked and it was super convenient to have a washer and dryer. The host was very easy to communicate with via text and would respond very quickly. However, keep in mind, that this is not an individual host but a rental company and the rental is more like a hotel than an airbnb (no pool or beach towels, very limited TP and paper towels, etc.) so make sure to plan ahead to provide almost everything you'd need for your stay.

The condo is very well laid out with the bedrooms nicely separated. The kitchen was well equipped with everything needed. The views from the master, living room and deck were great. Huge deck to accommodate the full group allowed (8).
Beds were very comfortable.
Easy access to the beach, and if the beach is windy the bayside is available.
I would stay again.
