We loved staying here. The skybridge was so nice to get across the busy highway to the beach. The lazy river was so much fun and the kids loved it. The main pool that should have had a waterfall was heated and was super nice because it was quite chilly in the evenings in the lazy river or the other pools. It was so nice to be able to walk down to the boardwalk and shop and get some food. Traffic is TERRIBLE after about 3pm so watch for that if you need to go anywhere. My husband was able to go out several times on the pier to fish and caught several crabs and other nice sized fish. The bay was full of shells and small fish for the kids to snorkel and look at. 10/10 stay. It was perfect.

Room was very nice. Beds were comfortable. Kitchen could use a few more things, like dish cloths, new cookie sheets, and maybe some beach towels would have been nice. Great location and beautiful grounds.

The property and condo was great. Easy access to restaurants. I had 3 elderly parents and my husband. The handicapped parking was nice. There are carts available to help load and unload your vehicles. Everyone we encountered was courteous, staff and other tenants.I would absolutely stay at this facility again.

This place was absolutely beautiful! The condo was exactly as it appears in the pictures! I was nervous not being directly on the gulf, but the skywalk over to the beach was super easy and convenient, and just a short few minutes walk! The pools were worth the trip themselves! We had three teenagers with us and they spent every night at the massive hot tubs, heated pools, and the incredible lazy river! The pool staff at the pools were incredibly nice and friendly, and open late (10pm at the pools at the condo side and 11pm at the other side of the resort) Tons of amazing restaurants and shops and only a 5 minute drive to grocery stores and downtown Destin. I met the owner while we were there who stopped by to make sure we had everything we needed as he happened to be in town. He gave us phenomenal recommendations on restaurants that we loved. We will definitely be back! Crystal clear water at the beach, we had the best time! I would recommend this place to everyone!!!

We just returned from RealJoy Vacations, Bay Views – Lazy River – Heron 507 – A Wave From It All, and it was amazing! We wish we could have stayed longer, but the kids had to get back to school. The lazy river with its night lights looks like a dream, and there are plenty of pools and hot tubs for everyone. We especially loved the bridge to the white sandy beach with turquoise waters — pure paradise!A special thanks to Candice — her care and quick responses made our stay even better. She truly made us feel like valued guests.Our condo was spacious, spotless, and perfect for 9 people. Having so many towels was also a big plus.If you’re looking for a family getaway that feels like paradise, this is it! We’re already planning our next trip back. ❤️

The condo was fantastic! Destin West was amazing as usual! We won't stay anywhere else! The only suggestion I have is to have the Master bedroom airflow checked as it did not cool down like the rest of the house!

Destin West is an excellent facility. It was great as always. We've vacationed here roughly 10 times in the last 15 years and have never had a bad stay. This unit was in good shape. The handle on the master shower was a little dodgy, but we figured it out. One more Roku on the TVs would have been helpful, but overall, this is an excellent unit. Your balcony gets sun in the morning and is shaded in the very hot afternoon. Being just a bit higher than the palm trees gives you an exellent view of the bay and the pool. You even have a slight view of the Gulf.

The location was perfect! It’s walking distance to the beach and many attractions. Our children enjoyed taking a break from the beach and hanging out in the numerous pools and lazy river the property had to offer. The layout of the condo is open and suspicious, very accommodating for larger groups. I will definitely be recommending this property to my family and friends. I look forward to staying there again! The kitchen didn’t have any oven mitts or baking pans so we had to buy a few disposable ones. This was not a deal breaker for us as we’re very flexible, just something to consider adding as future guest may benefit from it.

We had a great stay. The unit was nice and clean. The condo amenities were great. The element on the stove blew up while we were cooking on our first night. Someone was out the next morning to look at it. They weren’t able to get a new stove in during our stay but brought us a large countertop oven a couple days later that we could cook in. There’s more beds than what I saw on the listing which was great. There’s a twin trundle bed under the bunk bed and a pullout bed in the couch. We would stay here again.

This place was great. It was in a perfect spot and was bigger than we expected. Full kitchen with everything you need for an extended stay. Plenty of towels, washer/dryer, multiple TVs for kids and guests to watch different things and plenty of space in the shared areas (kitchen, dining room and living room). Balcony overlooked the lazy river and bay side. You can see the beach from the front side. Master bedroom was a very nice size, with a large master bathroom and closet. The balcony access from the master bedroom was a nice touch. Guest room was sufficient and right next to the guest bathroom. Kids room has bunk beds and a pull out bed underneath (so 3 full beds in that room). Location was great with lots to do nearby. Very convenient, cold AC and comfortable furniture. Would recommend - especially if you plan to stay for more than a few days.

The satisfaction that we got from staying on this resort is almost unmatched. There was so much to do! The code we were given to the door did not work, however, their response was very quick and we were still able to get in quickly. were new travelers and there was 10 people in our group and we took three different cars. I didn’t realize that we only can park two of them in the parking garage if they went over and above to how much locate parking for a car close by. We had a ton of space. I would highly recommend!!!
