Crystal Sands is a quiet, low-rise gulf-front community with two-story gulf-front buildings in Destin's Crystal Beach area. This property not only rests right on the beautiful Destin beach but also offers a heated community pool for all guests to enjoy. In the popular Crystal Beach community of Destin, you can enjoy wonderful dining at Camille's or 790 on the Gulf (within walking distance) and being centrally located to other great dining and the best shopping Destin has to offer.

Whether you spend your day at the nearby Big Kahuna's Water Park, on the golf course, deep sea fishing, parasailing, or shopping at the terrific Destin Outlet Malls, there’s also a robust nightlife with nearby clubs, including Sundestin’s onsite bar and restaurant with great home-made food.

Close by is Destin Commons, a beautifully landscaped, pedestrian-friendly area and a great family venue where children will love to play in the interactive water fountains. Also, for the younger guests, a nautically/pirate-themed outdoor playground features a 1,750 square foot soft play area with various creatures from the sea, slides, and a treasure chest! Destin Commons also has a mini-train for the kids. Destin Commons features over 75 shops and restaurants, including Godiva Chocolates, AMC Movie Theaters, and Bass Pro Shop.

If you are near Miramar Beach, the snorkelers in your group will love the new artificial reef called Dolphin Reef, deployed in 2017. Located just 685 feet straight out from the Miramar Regional Public Beach Access (by Pompano Joe's), it is becoming a haven for sea life. Each of the 4 snorkeling reefs comprises 40 acres of permitted sea bottom. The Dolphin Reef is at a depth of 12-20 feet. We strongly recommend that snorkelers use a kayak, paddleboard, or other flotation device when visiting the snorkel reefs. Sea conditions can and do change quickly and often. Enjoy!

We had an amazing time staying at this condo in Destin! The location was perfect – just a short walk to the beach and close to all the best local restaurants and shops. The condo itself was clean, cozy, and had everything we needed for a relaxing vacation. The condo did have a slight musty smell. The kitchen was fully stocked, and the living area was spacious and comfortable. We especially enjoyed the balcony with its stunning views of the beach.
The host was incredibly responsive and made sure we had everything we needed for our stay. Check-in was smooth and the property was well-maintained. We did have to call a few times to get the gate code for beach access and ended up getting it from the office. The pool and other amenities were a nice bonus.
Overall, we had a fantastic experience and would definitely recommend this condo to anyone visiting Destin. We can’t wait to come back!

Wonderful relaxing vacation

I loved staying here. It's only a 3 story building so it was easy to get around and really easy to get to the beach. Condo was clean and perfect for my husband and I. Highly recommend staying here.

Perfect!

We were there for five weekdays in Sept and the property was great. 2nd floor, mid bldg is great for views, elevator,and boardwalk to beach. Good cookware in kitchen. Would return.

The condo was great! 2nd floor was the right choice. Great beach and ocean views. Really close. Kitchen utensils good. Would’ve been helpful to know it was a drip Mr Coffee type maker but we were prepared. Fridge will be empty. Need all spices incl salt and pepper but we knew that. Super Walmart 5-10 mins away. Recommend Boshamps for dinner but get there early or late. Ask for extra pillow if you need Moore than 1 each.

Awesome Condo for Vacations!

We have stayed in the Crystal Sands Condos for many years now and they are always neat, clean and comfortable. We tried a few others places, but we end up right back at these 3-Story Units right on the beach. Looking forward to the next time!

This property has beautiful views. Communication was very prompt & effective. Check in & out was a breeze. We would return to the property, but I'm not sure we would get the same unit. It had a noticeable mildew/old smell. Could use an update, however great for a last-minute holiday getaway!

Great stay on the beach

Great place right on the beach. Building is older but clean and in great shape. This is a great area that is quiet, family friendly, less crowded and close to shopping. Host is friendly and accommodating.

Nice Quiet Area

This rental was well stocked with basic kitchen and bath supplies. Very nice view, I did see dolphins from the balcony. It is a convent location for restaurants and shopping. I would definitely stay here again! PS…. If you like Gumbo, Kenny D’s is the bomb!

I so love this place and the spot I had to add a extra day because I didn’t want to leave so worth it and planning more stays bed was nice and soft sleep on the pull out couch first night because I slept with the sliding door open listening to the waves feets away from the lovely beach book it you will love it and want regret it

Heaven on Earth!

The condo is small in regard to actual bedrooms, but worked fine for our family of 5! Gorgeous views of the ocean and dolphins playing! Easy access to beach. Heated pool was nice when kids got cold. Easy access to town and activities.

AMAZING VIEW

On a quick last min trip Miramar Beach, my hubs and I wanted a spot on the beach with a view. This condo was a good find! Although the furniture was a wee bit dated, it was very clean and tidy. Access to the beach was so easy, with the boardwalk practally outside our deck. The condo was stocked well enough that when we had groceries delivered, we had adequate cookware. When we did venture out, there were a couple places close enough to walk. There were several suggestions on the site of places that were "walking' distance from the condo, that I couldn't imagine being a convenient or safe walk, but Uber was readily available. Also, the ride from the Destin/Ft. Walton airport wasn't 11 min as suggested on the site. Plan for 25 min or more. Overall, we had a very good visit. Comfy beds, washer/dryer, some basic household/toiletries provided, everything we could need. Most importantly, the VIEW was extraordinary at all times, we were even lucky enough to see dolphins twice while just sitting on the couch!! We would definitely stay here again.
