Snowbird Season runs from November thru February, on a monthly basis. At the gated Crystal Dunes resort, there is a wide variety of activities that await you. With a private gated entrance and direct beach access, this is the ideal getaway for families or couples. Amenities include gated beach access, a seasonally heated community pool, a hot tub, and a grilling area. Crystal Dunes is conveniently located near Henderson State Park, less than a mile from Destin Commons, and within walking distance to some of the best restaurants in Destin like Camille’s at Crystal Beach and 790 on the Gulf. There is truly something for everyone at Crystal Dunes.

Area Attractions:

Close by is Destin Commons, a beautifully landscaped, pedestrian-friendly area and a great family venue where children will love to play in the interactive water fountains. Also for the younger guests, a nautically/pirate-themed outdoor playground features a 1,750 square foot soft play area with various creatures from the sea, slides, and a treasure chest! Destin Commons also has a mini-train for the kids. Destin Commons features over 75 shops and restaurants, including Godiva Chocolates, AMC Movie Theaters, and Bass Pro Shop.

Nearby are 6 miles of paved trails - perfect for both walking or biking. Pretty, unspoiled, Henderson Beach State Park is also close by.

If you are near Miramar Beach, the snorkelers in your group will love the new artificial reef called Dolphin Reef, deployed in 2017. Located just 685 feet straight out from the Miramar Regional Public Beach Access (by Pompano Joe's), it is becoming a haven for sea life. Each of the 4 snorkeling reefs comprises 40 acres of permitted sea bottom. The Dolphin Reef is at a depth of 12-20 feet. We strongly recommend that snorkelers use a kayak, paddleboard, or other flotation devices when visiting the snorkel reefs. Sea conditions can and do change quickly and often. Enjoy!

We absolutely loved this condo. It was true to the description and the pictures. It was clean and the kitchen was fully stocked with everything we needed. The linens were good quality and plenty of towels. The Keurig was nice to have. The patio was large enough for all 6 of us . The beach toys and chairs were very nice to have. And the beach service, to have that set up each day, was amazing! Being steps away from the beach was perfect for our two young grandsons. The elevator worked well and was nice to have. The pool and the hot tub were both great and were a good size for the amount of people. Loved the location being close to lots of restaurants and event facilities. We will definitely return.

Absolutely amazing views! Beach access is only 2min walk, having a beach chair and umbrella on the beach included was awesome. Bbq are not worth using they are tiny. Will definitely be staying here again
