The 3 bedroom 'Crystal Cottage' is located only a few steps from the white sandy beaches and emerald green water and boasts a private pool. From the wrap-around balcony, you'll enjoy the sounds of the Gulf of Mexico. You'll be just 500 FEET from the beach in this great beach house!
You'll have lots of privacy in the upstairs master suite with vaulted ceiling and secluded sun porch. The open plan design of the lower level features lots of natural light, upscale, beach-themed decor and tasteful furnishings. The location and charm of Crystal Cottage can't be beat!

Crystal Beach is a terrific residential area, yet close to restaurants and activities in Destin. Walk to close by restaurants such as the award-winning 790 Inn on the Gulf or Camille's, get your fro-yo on at U-Twirl Frozen Yogurt, or learn how to ride the waves at All-A Board Surf School.
Close by is Destin Commons, a beautifully landscaped, pedestrian-friendly area and a great family venue where children will love to play in the interactive water fountains. Also for the younger guests, a nautically/pirate themed outdoor playground features a 1,750 square foot soft play area with various creatures from the sea, slides, and a treasure chest! Destin Commons also has a mini-train for the kids. Destin Commons features over 75 shops and restaurants, including Godiva Chocolates, AMC Movie Theaters and Bass Pro Shop.
If you are near Miramar Beach, the snorkelers in your group will love the new artificial reef called Dolphin Reef, deployed in 2017. Located just 685 feet straight out from the Miramar Regional Public Beach access (by Pompano Joe's), it is becoming a haven for sea life. Each of the 4 snorkeling reefs comprises 40 acres of permitted sea bottom. The Dolphin Reef is at a depth of 12-20 feet. We strongly recommend that snorkelers use a kayak, paddleboard, or other flotation device when visiting the snorkel reefs. Sea conditions can and do change quickly and often. Enjoy!

We recently stayed at the Crystal Cottage at Crystal Shores in Destin. It was an amazing place. Everything worked perfectly. The beds slept great and the pool was great to hang out in after being on the beach, which was a short walk away. The RealJoy team was super helpful from check in to check out and were very prompt in answering the few questions we had during our stay. My wife and 3 kids stay the week before Memorial Day and let me tell you it was everything we had hoped for and more we a frequent emerald coast visitors and have stay in numerous air bnb in the surrounding cities but this one here tops the cake within walking distance like 3 min tops till your on the edge of the gulfs waves we ran into a few questions along the way and real joy was responsive and took care of everything the only thing I would say that could make this place even better would be a golf cart and or being able to get a discount on cart rentals thru some companies if they offer it we rented on for 2 days was a little pricey but the kids loved as well as the wife and I enjoy coastal rides to look at all the beautiful scenery I pray I can move down there some soon- Reviewed On: 5/24/2024

It was a pleasure staying at this location. We enjoyed the private pool and the location was ideal. You can literally walk to restaurants, shopping and groceries. The beach is a quick walk which was very convenient. We had one small issue with the stove and they were ready to take care of it but we told them not to worry. We stsyed with friends and the size was just perfect, every couple had their own bath and bedroom-which was awesome. It’s a short walk to the public beach access, and we enjoyed the backyard pool when not at the beach. Less than a half mile from the house is a seafood restaurant, and it’s a short drive to other amenities like the state park, Walmart, and Fudruckers.
